Chapter 777 Little Bu's Journey

"Little Bu, stop reading and come out quickly! Something terrible has happened!!"

Xiao Bu looked up, somewhat confused. The door was pushed open, and although the late autumn sun wasn't particularly bright, she still found it a bit dazzling.

The guards at the testing ground had clearly been informed beforehand; when they saw Little Bro and Rebecca running over, they not only didn't stop them, but instead opened the gate for them.

"Help, treat them?" Xiao Bu exclaimed in surprise. "Has something happened to them?"

"The Vatican has dug underground and started a war with your people. Lady Ash led the Banshee Squad to provide support and managed to bring most of them over, but some were injured and are currently being treated at the hospital!"

She grew up in a garbage dump beneath the Rhine, where the living conditions were terrible. She couldn't even find decent clothes and had to wear paper bags instead.

But that was, after all, her home.

Little Bu suddenly ran much faster, and Rebecca couldn't keep up.

The two ran along the road all the way to the dock, where a steamship was preparing to leave the port. The mooring lines had been thrown off, and the sailors on board were retrieving the connecting planks.

"Wait! Wait!" Rebecca shouted, anxiously tugging at Little Bu: "It's that ship, the Black Pearl! It's the fastest ship to Blood Harbor, let's jump on!"

Xiao Bu nodded heavily, and the two of them, hand in hand, jumped off the dock!
A gentle sea breeze blew, and the two girls, holding the hem of their skirts, drew a beautiful arc in the air.

Sunlight shone on their faces, and the stern-faced Little Bu and the smiling Rebecca made the sailors nearby look up in awe.

Jeremiah, pipe in hand, watched from the ship's side, his eyes narrowing slightly, a grin creeping onto his face. He glanced back at Ken in the captain's cabin; the young man was now capable of steering the ship independently, a qualified helmsman even in the stormy seas of the past.

Ken did the same, leaping onto his boat when the sea had dried up and Castells had disappeared, but he still managed to jump over.

So stupid.

Jeremiah patted the gunwale; the heavy steel made a dull sound, not cold at all, but rather somewhat familiar.

"Old buddy, do you think those two will become captains too?"

The Black Pearl's whistle sounded in a deep voice, and accompanied by the roar of the steam engine, the entire ship pushed through the waves and sailed forward.

Jeremiah snorted, took the wine jug from his waist, bit off the lid, and poured the sweet fruit wine inside into his mouth.

"A spaceship is still a ship. I'll go find Tata to add an airbag for you in a while!"

Little Brett lived at the test site in Gem Bay, which was a bit far from Blood Harbor, but the Black Pearl sailed very fast.

She didn't have time to worry about her people for long before she arrived at Blood Harbor.

After disembarking, she and Rebecca were picked up and put into a car.

Her mind was in turmoil, filled with worry for her people, uncertainty about the future, and the bizarre and dazzling sights of the city before her.

All of this mixed together was like a chop soup cooked by Brother Frey, a hodgepodge of flavors.

She sat in the car, looking out the window at the city.

Little Bu didn't recognize the prosperity and grandeur of this place. Looking at this blood harbor, she even inexplicably thought of the garbage dump where she lived.

This place is nothing like a garbage dump. Will this become her home?
The car that picked up Rebecca and Brooks was sent by Hughes, and it took them directly to the hospital in Bloodharbor.

Most of the Banshees have now retreated back to Bloodharbor, while the Untouchables, except for those with the most severe injuries who are unable to move and remain at the relay point, have been sent to the hospital.

The pungent smell of disinfectant and the stark white walls of the hospital made Xiao Bu somewhat afraid. Rebecca had never been here before either. Although she was nervous, she tried to remain calm and comforted Xiao Bu.

"Don't worry, there are so many people here, your people will definitely be fine!"

There are many people coming and going in the hospital.

Some were doctors and nurses, while others were security personnel.

Blood Harbor is now under martial law, and the hospital is heavily guarded. Little Brooks and Rebecca were taken to the inpatient building by a team of frigates.

"You're here?" A somewhat familiar voice rang out. Xiao Bu turned around and looked: "Sister Gaia, Sister Zoe, why are you wearing a hat?"

Zoe awkwardly adjusted her helmet and gave a sheepish laugh.

She wasn't wearing a hat; she was wearing the lesson Fifty Leo had learned.

Gaia: "We just arrived here too. The lord summoned us, probably to arrange some things. Let's go together."

As she walked, she whispered to comfort Little Bu: "Most of your people are alright. The main force fighting the Holy See was the Banshee. Only a few died in the aftermath of the battle. Frey has also returned."
