Upon seeing this scene in the city center, Ma Zhaodi's attention was originally focused on the person who looked like Captain America.

But once the seemingly Asian face appeared, Ma Zhaodi's attention was completely focused on him.

Ma Zhaodi had previously set a condition for them to find Kimiko's brother, and less than a week has passed since then. The CIA has not had any spare manpower to spare for this task in the past few days. To be honest, finding a stowaway is not easy. Seemingly worried that Ma Zhaodi couldn't handle it alone, or perhaps eager to see her younger brother, or maybe seeing her brother's bloodied face and dying state in the photo, Kimiko immediately added a second sentence: "I'm in!"

In his panic and shock, he even made a typo, a typical case of being too concerned to think clearly.

"Don't come."

Ma Zhaodi replied with a single sentence: "If you come, it will be difficult for me to save people."

He put his phone away, ignoring Kimiko's emotions. The most important thing now was to save her—if he was fast enough, Kimiko wouldn't make it here in time.

"The cameras can be hacked, but there are too many people watching here." Ma Zhaodi thought to himself as he walked towards the low-budget Captain America. The opponent's strength and the light he was using were terrifying. Judging from the looks of it, he could even rival Homelander. Let alone trying to secretly rescue him, even if he went all out to fight the opponent, a normal retreat would not be so easy.

He was well aware of his own fighting abilities; in a head-on fight, he couldn't actually beat Homelander. However, Homelander hadn't really fought yet, and Superman had been there last time, which gave Ma Zhaodi some confidence.

Thinking of this, Ma Zhaodi immediately went to look at the silly cat in the ruins—it seemed to have already finished rescuing people and was now licking its gold and jade.

"Stop licking!" Ma Zhaodi said, somewhat exasperated. "Can't we just drag this man into the wallpaper room?"

"Hey, he's not in a party with you, meow. You can't use the cart if you're not teammates, meow."

"Then let's put out a scarecrow!" Having received the clear and feasible instruction, the silly cat immediately began to act.

Seeing a disheveled inflatable straw doll suddenly appear, the low-budget Captain America was clearly stunned for a moment. His still-scratched mind told him that this inexplicably cheeky straw doll seemed to be more deserving of a beating than the dying man on the ground.

So he really turned around and walked towards the straw man.

"Thank God, he's not quite thinking clearly right now."

Ma Zhaodi sent another signal on his phone—about ten seconds later, two figures rushed out of the building and sped toward this location.

That's Maeve and Starlight.

"Wow, these two really know what they're doing."

Ma Zhaodi scratched his head. His distress call was sent to Superman, but he could probably guess that Maeve and Starlight, who still retained some heroic beliefs, would probably get along quite well with a typical hero like Superman.

“Barrett and her assistant.”

As the two shouted those words, a sudden inspiration flashed through Ma Zhaodi's mind.

"Soldier Boy, the captain of the Vought International's Bloodbath Squad during World War II, a household name in America as a superhero, and now an old man alive."

It's almost identical to Marvel's Captain America.

In that instant, Ma Zhaodi suddenly understood the other person's identity—he was the thing Edgar had brought from Russia, the other person's trump card, a tool to deal with Superman.

"The frozen hero is recalled, and with a single call, thousands respond. It's the simplest shonen script. That's why he fought against Kimiko's brother, and why the Vought Corporation required the Seven to hold back until now."

Ma Zhaodi secretly drags the young man off the battlefield and sends a message to Superman to turn back.

"Don't come yet, prepare to fight the second Homelander later."
