Dedicate loyalty to the good empire

Chapter 62 Armageddon, Part 1

Chapter 62 Armageddon, Part 1
I, Inquisitor Altis, now record the deeds of Tyler Kyle Anchor, a hero of the Imperium, in the name of the Emperor.

This record is about the evil he has faced, or the aliens he has confronted head-on.

I believe my records are accurate and reliable.

But what’s interesting is that people within the empire always have multifaceted and different opinions about him.

Some called him the last adventurer of the 41st millennium of human civilization, some called him a fraud, some loved him and even regarded him as the glimmer of light of the empire, but some thought his reputation was superficial.

Even though I had fought alongside the 15th, it was difficult for me to judge his character, and the only thing I knew for sure was that his loyalty was unquestionable.

Around the fourth day of the Inquisitor's joining Squad 15, she boarded an Imperial cruiser bound for Armageddon.

Interestingly, she hadn't seen Taylor for three days, but Taylor's picture appeared all over the recruitment posters and manuals for soldiers going to Armageddon.

This was quite amusing, and one powerful member of the Inquisition must have noticed Taylor's reluctant micro-expression in the photo, and she couldn't help but laugh.

"I can't understand him any more."

"A hero or a coward?"

But her thoughts were interrupted by the returning Taylor. The soldier was wearing fancy clothes that were different from his style. He was leaning against the wall and speaking in a tone of despair.

"Sister Lightling, what are the chances of me surviving if I jump out of the air valve?"

The cute Lightling replied, "Zero, Boss, I'm sure it's Zero, because I've seen this before. They were frozen into popsicles in space."

"Then we're done!" Taylor looked at the hold, which was a nice room with a view, basically provided to officers.

Even so, Taylor didn't feel happy at all even though he could see the stars in the sky and the dark green gem-like Luka star moving further and further away.

The white atmosphere and green soil intertwined, and the blue ocean formed a beautiful color contrast. Taylor exclaimed how beautiful the world was, but he had to admit it.

It is impossible for him to spend his old age here.

The same is true of Armageddon's notoriety. After the three battles of Armageddon, it has become a place full of greenskins and cultists.

Taylor certainly understood that if he rushed in, it would be like a catalyst, and who knows what would happen then!
Inquisitor Qiu offered solace. "Since the Bonebreakers were defeated and Commissar Yarrick took control of Armageddon, there have been no more conflicts on this scale."

Taylor suddenly sang with the sentimentality of an opera prima donna.

"Before the Storm~"

“Even more peaceful!”

This actually made people laugh. Maybe Taylor just didn't want to be too depressed, or maybe he had been driven crazy by this world a long time ago?
Of course, considering his previous performance against the Hammer Bug and the Space Marines, he's probably not crazy, but he's smarter than most people...

The female interrogator thought so, not knowing that she had fallen into a thinking trap. When you think Taylor is really unfathomable, he is really unfathomable.

The lady looked at Taylor, and the doubts in her heart grew heavier and heavier. Even after the ship tore through Mandeville Point and entered the warp, these thoughts did not dissipate.

----

A world of brown and green, much of its soil was blanketed in radiation, filled with death and poison, and upon it stood countless intricate lairs. Armageddon, the land of many legends, such as the Space Wolves, the Grey Knights, and the Iron Legion of Armageddon, and the First War against the World Eaters and their Daemon Primarch, Angron.

There were also two subsequent greenskin disasters.

This place is full of heroes, but it also has apocalyptic disasters that wipe out those heroes.

Now, looking at the gas mask and lead-filled coat distributed to him, Taylor deeply realized that if this place were in ancient Terra, it would be equivalent to several Chernobyls.

He is now about to fulfill the greatness that so many people have not yet accomplished. The difficulty is comparable to going to the Fukushima nuclear power plant and shutting down the melted core with bare hands, but now at the end of the 41st millennium of human civilization, this is commonplace!
The good news is that the genes of future humans have been changed beyond recognition, and the threat of so-called radiation to them has been greatly reduced, but Taylor has no doubt that his lifespan may be shortened because of this.

Forget it, in this place, living one more second would be embarrassment and suffering.

Frenstein was stuffed into the transport ship. It was equipped with disposable anti-gravity equipment, that is, rockets, on the four sides of the tracks, and looked like a green creature.

Taylor was very suspicious about why the Mechanicus had developed such a strange thing, but just a few minutes later, Armageddon told him what it meant that existence is reasonable.

"Hurry, hurry! Start the engine and jump out!" Taylor shouted in Feinstein's car. People rushed into Feinstein in a hurry. Only the pilot who was driving the transport ship remained at his post.

Countless orc anti-aircraft fire destroyed the flank of the transport plane, and only 40% of the brothers who came down at the same time as them successfully landed on the human position.

Those damn greenskins looked funny as they laughed and slapped their thighs, but those bullets were definitely deadly.

The transport's plasma engine continued to spew black smoke, and as it trembled and was about to fall, Taylor shouted, "Brother, don't drive the boat, get in my car!"

The unknown pilot replied without hesitation. "Brother, I need to keep this engine steady, or you'll flip sideways when you land and hit the ground."

"Let's go, we'll meet in front of the Emperor!"

Taylor was silent, saluted him one last time, and found the priceless "Terra Star" badge in his pocket and threw it to the pilot.

As Ferenstein detached from the rear of the hangar and free-falling downward, the engine started, and the war engine began to land under the propulsion of the rocket.

When the reaction force made Taylor feel uncomfortable, he covered his mouth and waited until the car was completely stable before climbing out and vomiting.

He held his breath, trying not to inhale the toxic air, wiped his mouth, and put on the stuffy and uncomfortable gas mask.

This was Armageddon's welcome ceremony for him, and it was enough to make people tremble with fear.

The female interrogator asked in surprise. "You gave him your honor!"

"That's Terra! The Emperor's honor!"

Taylor's face, expressionless behind the gas mask, simply said.

"He is more suitable for the badge than me. Anyway, I am not short of money, I am short of life."

He picked up the telescope and looked into the distance. The dense orc camp and the noisy greenskin guys formed an endless horizon. A few greenskins were rushing towards him following the scent.

He said helplessly.

"Now, we have new problems, such as..."

"How do we find the main force?"
