Chapter 55 Extra 2 Is this considered hooliganism?
After Cheng Zhixu finished his account, he felt relieved. He closed the book in his hand, put his hands on Jian Ling's waist, lifted her off his lap and put her aside: "I'm going to take a shower first."

The bright moon was hanging high in the sky, with faint moonlight outside the window and bright light inside. The wind blew in through the window gap that was a palm's width open, blowing up the curtains.

Cheng Zhixu closed the window and went to the bathroom to take a shower.

The exact same scene was played out again. He took off his clothes and adjusted the water temperature to just the right level. Then he heard a knock on the door. It was a very rhythmic knock, two times, then a pause, then another knock, with some kind of temptation and suggestion, like a kitten's paw scratching the door.

Cheng Zhixu knew that he was smiling without looking in the mirror. He took a step forward and saw in the mirror on the wall of the washbasin that his usually cold face was smiling. His dark eyebrows and eyes were like an ink painting, but his thin lips were raised.

The knocking sound outside came again, still two knocks, pause, and then knock again.

Cheng Zhixu pulled a bath towel around his waist and asked calmly, "What are you doing?"

Jian Ling leaned her face against the frosted glass door, vaguely making out the man's figure inside: broad shoulders and a narrow waist. But she knew full well that Cheng Zhixu only looked thin; in reality, he had well-defined abdominal muscles. She'd touched him before, and it felt wonderful! She couldn't let him go!

"Boss Cheng, let's wash together to save water." Jian Ling spoke softly, her fingers scratching the patterns on the glass door, and added, "It also saves time."

Cheng Zhixu: "Go take a shower next door." She ran in and couldn't take a shower normally.

"It's very cold. I have to keep the heating lamp on for a while to keep it warm. I'm sleepy and want to go to bed early after taking a shower." Jian Ling had been walking around outside in high heels for so long that her legs were a little weak and she couldn't stand up. She bent her legs and squatted by the door, mumbling pitifully, "It's not like we haven't taken a shower together before. I'm not afraid, so why are you afraid?"

Cheng Zhixu wanted to say that he was not afraid, but he sighed silently. In the end, he could not stand her pleading tone. He lowered his eyes and smiled, then reached out to open the door.

Jian Ling was caught off guard, and with her forehead against the door, she suddenly fell forward.

Fortunately, Cheng Zhixu had anticipated this and grabbed her by the back of the collar when she leaned forward—the same position again. It wasn't the first time, and Jian Ling suspected he was actually grabbing her by the waist.

Jian Ling held the nightgown in her arms, and her eyes involuntarily dropped to his waist. His skin was fair, and his abdominal muscles had several clear grooves, and the lines extended down to the place under the bath towel, where they could not be seen.

Cheng Zhixu uttered a soft "tsk" and loosened his grip on her collar, instead grabbing the braid at the back of her head. She had a fishbone braid that was easy to hold.

Jian Ling was forced to raise her head as the man pulled her, meeting his gaze. Cheng Zhixu had deep eyebrows and a slight smile that looked very handsome.

"Jian Ling, what are you looking at?" Cheng Zhixu held her neck with his other hand, pulled her in front of him, lowered his head and stared at her, his forehead almost touching hers, and whispered, "Are you a hooligan?"

"No, I was just looking at my boyfriend's figure. I didn't look at other men. How can this be considered as being a hooligan?" Jian Ling was unconvinced and tilted her head back. His hand pressed on the back of her neck. She gave up struggling when she couldn't break free and continued to complain about him honestly, "Cheng Zhixu, can you be more generous?"

Cheng Zhixu understood that if he didn't show it to her, he would be being stingy.

Ye Guizhou often said to him recently: "Cheng Zhixu, I find that since you changed your identity, you have become more arrogant. Do you still remember what kind of person you were before?"

Cheng Zhixu didn't feel that he had changed at all.

Comparing himself with Jian Ling now, he realized the implication in Ye Guizhou's words. Similarly, since they made their relationship public, met each other's parents, and discussed marriage, Jian Ling automatically switched to the identity of fiancée or even Mrs. Cheng, and she was no longer cautious and reserved as his girlfriend before.

The way they currently get along feels a bit like an old married couple.

"Besides, you...it's not like you haven't seen mine before." Seeing that he didn't say anything, Jian Ling tried to make excuses for her behavior. After completing her explanation, she sighed, "Forget it, I'll go next door..."

Before she could finish her words, Cheng Zhixu pulled her into his arms. He kissed her earlobe and said, "Just teasing you." His voice dropped a notch as he whispered in her ear, "I'm all yours. Look at me any way you like, touch me any way you like. Don't be shy."

Jian Ling's temper came and went quickly, and in an instant she raised her face and smiled like a flower.

Cheng Zhixu helped her put away her pajamas and unbuttoned her clothes himself: "Come on, let's wash together."

Such an intimate gesture made Jian Ling feel embarrassed. She quickly grabbed her collar and refused to let him do it for her: "You go wash first, I need to remove my makeup."

Cheng Zhixu followed his instructions and went to take a shower. The bathroom wasn't separated into dry and wet areas, leaving no barrier between them. As Jian Ling removed her makeup in the mirror, she could see him out of the corner of her eye. She hadn't thought much when she came in, just wanting to spend some time with him. Who knew the situation would be so embarrassing?

She was really good at embarrassing herself.

Ever since she met him, she'd always been awkward. Jian Ling removed her makeup and lingered on unbuttoning the remaining buttons, silently telling herself, this man is already her fiancé, so she should be thick-skinned. They'll still be husband and wife in the future, so why be shy? Just go for it. Then, with a single thrust, she yanked off her small vest, her posture as if she was about to force herself on him.

Cheng Zhixu was standing under the shower head, with water pouring down from above his head. He had just smoothed his wet black hair when he saw her striding towards him and was stunned for a moment.

Jian Ling laughed foolishly at him: "Hehehehehehe..."

Cheng Zhixu: “…”

The two of them took a very serious bath together, but the process was not very serious. Jian Ling rubbed the bubbles of shower gel and suddenly said to the man beside her: "Boss Cheng, let me rub your back."

Cheng Zhixu resisted: "No."

Jian Ling then changed her mind: "Then you can rub my back."

“…” Cheng Zhixu couldn’t refuse.

After taking a shower, the two of them lay down on the bed, just like an old married couple. Jian Ling rested her head on Cheng Zhixu's arm, half of her body lying on him. She felt a little sleepy, and her voice was soft and sticky: "Boss Cheng, if I fall asleep, just move my head to the pillow."

Cheng Zhixu patted her back and asked softly, "Why?"

"Well, I read in a book that sleeping with your arms as a pillow will cause poor blood circulation and have a negative impact. It's not good for your health anyway." Jian Ling muttered with her eyes closed, "I'll be fine after using it for a while."

Cheng Zhixu curled his lips and said okay.

"Oh, I didn't set the alarm on my phone. Remember to wake me up tomorrow morning." Jian Ling was very aware of her own habit of sleeping in, so she reminded him, "If you can't wake me up, just shake me hard. I want to go to work with you."

Cheng Zhixu smiled, said "yes" again, stretched out his arm to turn off the lamp: "Go to sleep."

The curtains were drawn tightly, preventing the moonlight from filtering through. In the pitch-black darkness, Jian Ling pouted her lips and said, "Goodnight kiss."

Cheng Zhixu understood and kissed her lips accurately in the darkness: "Good night."

Cheng Zhixu's biological clock was more punctual than his alarm clock; he woke up on time. Seeing it was still early, he tiptoed downstairs to buy breakfast. Jian Ling loved the braised pork buns from a breakfast shop outside the community. She liked to add the owner's homemade chili oil to her buns. With every bite, she'd scoop a spoonful of chili oil into the filling.

If you go late you have to queue.

When Cheng Zhixu came back after buying breakfast, Jian Ling was still sleeping in the quilt. He calculated the time and went into the bedroom to wake her up. When he found that it was useless, he just picked her up from the quilt like he did when he sent her to the airport that morning.

Jian Ling subconsciously frowned, mumbled something, looked at him with sleepy eyes, and asked incoherently, "What day is it today?"

"Stop dreaming, you have to go to work today." Cheng Zhixu didn't tell her what day it was. It didn't matter what day it was, she had to go to work.

Jian Ling sighed: "I really can't wake up all year round."

Cheng Zhixu chuckled, finally understanding why she was so often late. Seeing her gradually sobering up, he turned and went to the cloakroom to change into formal attire. He put on a shirt and trousers, tucking the hem of his shirt into his pants, outlining his narrow waistline. His shirt collar turned up, he slightly tilted his neck as he walked, tying his tie, his movements so familiar he didn't even need a mirror.

Jian Ling stood on the bed and raised her hand to volunteer: "Boss, I'll help you tie your tie. I tie it really well!"

Cheng Zhixu wanted to say that if she didn't hurry up and wash up, it would be too late, but seeing that she was in high spirits, he didn't have the heart to refuse. He walked to the bed, loosened his half-tied tie, and let her come.

Jian Ling held both ends of the tie and quickly tied a beautiful and neat Windsor knot. She helped him fold over the raised collar of his shirt and smoothed it out. After that, she kissed him and said, "I'm going to wash up. You can have breakfast first without waiting for me."

Cheng Zhixu watched her back as she rushed to the bathroom, then raised his wrist to look at his watch and secretly calculated that she would most likely be late.

Cheng Zhixu: There's nothing I can do. My wife is mine. I have to wait...
