Diana's abilities are beyond doubt.

Martin said the first half of the sentence, and she immediately knew the second half.

It was a very complicated map, but Martin only took a dozen minutes to make Diana fully understand it.

Martin rolled up the map and handed it to Diana, and reminded her: "The importance of the map is secondary. The real trouble is that this forest is full of curses and witchcraft from the Aztec Empire."

"Curse? Witchcraft?"

Diana hesitated, not knowing how to respond.

Barbara suddenly came over and interrupted, "You are kidding! Where does witchcraft and magic come from in this world? Those messed up things are just people's fantasies."

"There is only one thing you need to do, and that is to shut up and obey me. I can guarantee your survival. Otherwise, you will bear the consequences at your own risk."

Martin glared at the woman.

Barbara thought of the people who were killed in the town. Her hands and feet turned cold. She sat obediently on the stone, lowered her head, and dared not say a word.

Martin lowered his voice and said to Diana: "I have traveled around the world and have seen many amazing things. Therefore, I can tell at a glance that you are not an ordinary person."

"hiss--"

Martin's wrist was grabbed by Diana and was almost strangled.

He took a deep breath and said with pain: "I have not revealed your identity, and I don't intend to blackmail you. So, can you be gentler?"

Diana looked at Martin suspiciously, and seeing that his face was flushed red, she weakened her grip but did not let go.

"How did you tell?"

Diana's voice was also low, and she was unwilling to reveal her identity.

"I can see it all. Does it matter what method you use?"

Martin knew that in his current situation, he was no match for Diana, so he didn't struggle.

The iron warhorse, Hoofying, turned its head away silently the moment it saw Martin being strangled.

The female boss is not to be trifled with. The master is not in danger either, so he went into hiding.

"Heartless."

Martin glared at Hoofshadow.

Diana tugged at his wrist and said, "Stop talking nonsense. What do you want from me?"

When ordinary people say this, they are usually considered to be narcissists or lunatics.

But coming from Diana's mouth, it was very appropriate and gave people the feeling that it was as it should be.

"It's all a coincidence."

Martin explains his magic.

Diana was half-believing and half-doubting: "Why do I feel like you are lying to me? How can there be such a miraculous ability in this world?"

"You are the daughter of Zeus, so it's not surprising that I have some special abilities. And no matter how you suspect it, you will see the truth tomorrow."

Martin glanced at his watch.

9pm!
"While I am still here, I will take you as far as I can, or I will go back directly. What should I do with these two choices? It's up to you."

This was the first time Diana met someone more special and eccentric than herself. It was like a child who had found a favorite toy and refused to let it go no matter what.

"Of course we have to keep going."

Diana let go of Martin's hand.

He stood up, packed his backpack, and tapped Hoofing's head.

But the horse had a body of steel, and he was now just a mortal, and his entire palm was red.

Hoofshadow barked a few times, and Martin heard the meaning of gloating, so he rolled up his sleeves and was ready to settle the score with this guy.

Diana was about to comfort Barbara, but when she saw Martin and Tiema playing around, she stopped abruptly, turned around and came behind him.

"Why didn't you tell me in advance that you had such ability?"

Martin was startled and clung to Hoofshadow, only relaxing when he saw clearly that it was Diana.

Diana pulled out a golden rope from her backpack and said, "Hold this rope and answer the questions."

Martin looked at the famous "Lasso of Truth" curiously, but didn't see anything special about it. He held the rope and subconsciously answered the question: "I was going to tell you in the corridor, but those gunmen interrupted me."

"Are you sure that everything you just said is true?"

"I promise!"

Diana retracted the rope and nodded in satisfaction.

"Oh, I haven't felt enough yet!"

Martin pleaded with Diana, "Can you let me play with it a little longer and see what secrets this rope that can make people tell the truth has?"

Diana shook her head decisively: "The Lasso of Truth was made by Hephaestus, the God of Fire, using the golden belt of Gaia, the Goddess of the Earth. It was given by Hestia, the Goddess of Family, and shot down from Mount Olympus by Artemis, the Goddess of the Moon."

When talking about these stories, Diana puffed out her chest with pride.

"You are just a mortal now, it is impossible for you to see anything from the gift from God."

"Have you two had enough of the whispering?"

Barbara watched Martin and Diana huddled together and whispering to each other, and finally couldn't help but jump out and interrupt them.

Family, who understands! I was excluded by the clique.

Barbara clenched her fists and looked at the man and woman in front of her angrily. Her chest heaved violently and her curly hair was bouncing.

"Now that you've rested enough, let's go now."

Martin looked at this unknown woman strangely and had already sentenced her to death in his heart.

It would be the same even if Diana helped her.

"Get on the horse. You're too slow and will slow us down."

Martin spoke the truth without any intention of belittling her abilities.

"I can walk on my own. I don't need your concern."

Barbara turned away, not wanting to see Martin and Diana again.

Martin ignored him and walked a few hundred meters along the river bank, leading the way with Hoofshadow, until he found a section of the river where people could wade on foot.

He walked in front, holding the hoof shadow in one hand as a lantern and the Nilin sword in the other hand as a machete.

Barbara talked big, but when she really came over, she hugged Diana's arm and held her tightly.

Barbara's weight plus the things in her backpack were no different from a speck of dust on Diana's shoulders.

"Good luck."

After wading across the river, Martin shook off his boots and said, "There are no carnivorous fish in the river, nor insects like leeches. If you get entangled now, there is no condition for treatment."

"No need for you to remind me!"

Barbara hugged Diana's arm and retorted to Martin.

Martin took out a compass to determine the direction, waved his sword, split the branches and bushes, and made a path.

After entering the forest, the signals of electronic devices were affected and it was impossible to contact the outside world using mobile phones.

I don’t know if it’s due to the terrain or if it’s affected by magic.

After Martin discovered this, he reminded the two women behind him.

Barbara took out her cell phone and gestured, but there was no signal at all, so she got closer to Diana.

Martin was walking ahead and seemed to hear the sound of something moving behind the surrounding trees.

He stopped chopping trees and patted Hoofshadow's neck.

Tiying's eyes instantly turned into two headlights, illuminating wherever he looked.

"Ah, what the hell?"

Barbara suddenly screamed.
