Chapter 13 It's not easy to pretend to be a bad guy

“Is this the speed a human can reach?”

The security guard of Bingfeng Hotel watched a living person disappear in front of him in a flash, and his hands began to tremble with fear.

Just as people's stereotypes suggest, Gotham is full of evildoers, and no one knows when you'll run into a ruthless person.

Even the Penguin's men couldn't help but feel worried when they saw Martin suddenly disappear.

"What are you daydreaming about?"

The big mouth wearing a Santa hat hid behind the door, waving a pistol and urging his men, "Even Batman is afraid of bullets. You idiots have nothing to worry about. Shoot, shoot."

This is true. Even the best martial artist in the world cannot be faster than a bullet.

Although Martin is not made of steel and is invulnerable to swords and guns, he does not need to be faster than a bullet. He only needs to be faster than the person holding the gun.

Relying on his powerful explosive power, he kept shuttling and changing directions among the dazzling flower baskets in front of the Bingfeng Hotel.

At this time, the shortcomings of street gangs were revealed. These security guards had no idea what crossfire was. They only knew to follow Martin's shadow and move their guns.

When they finally locked onto Martin, he came up to them and delivered a frontal kick with all his might.

Click!

The security guard in the front was kicked, his ribs were broken instantly, and he vomited large streams of blood. He crashed into the two people behind him and rolled into the hotel lobby with them.

Then, Martin grabbed the barrel of the rifle in the hands of the security guard next to him with both hands, pulled it back, and smashed it down with a hammer, causing him to see stars and fall to the ground weakly.

He grabbed the gun barrel with both hands and used it like a machete, swinging the gun up and down, hitting the security guards' wrists, knees and heads.

The security guards surrounded Martin and tried to shoot, but Martin always stood in a line with one person to serve as a cover so that the people around him could not find a chance to shoot.

Soon all the security guards fell to the ground one by one, holding their injured parts and wailing.

"Fuck, this is outrageous!"

Big Mouth, who was hiding at the door, almost popped his eyes out when he saw more than a dozen people couldn’t even last three minutes.

"Another guy who is not easy to deal with. What is going on in Gotham?"

He muttered something to himself, but quickly ran away to find his superior.

This matter is too big for a small fry like him to handle, so he should just pass on the blame!

Martin walked past the wailing security guard on the ground and into the lobby, his shoes making a clattering sound on the marble floor.

The lobby was empty, but Martin could sense those prying eyes.

He raised his rifle and pulled the trigger. A burst of bullets shattered the large crystal chandelier hanging on the ceiling of the lobby.

Countless fragments fell like raindrops, and the sharp edges of the crystal fragments tore into pieces the portraits hanging on the wall, the antiques on the shelves, and things like the sofa.

The magnificent hall was instantly transformed into a ruin after a war. There was no intact place and no intact item, except Martin who was standing in the middle of the ruins.

"I will only say this once!"

Martin spoke slowly, his voice spreading throughout the hall and echoing in the corridor.

"Tell Penguin to come out and see me right now, or I'll do something everyone will regret."

A minute passed and there was no movement.

Martin decided to give them a big one, threw away his rifle, and prepared to pull out all the hiding guests one by one.

"Wait, I'm just here to play, I have nothing to do with the Penguin!" The lower body of the man in a suit who was pulled out from behind the counter by Martin was dragged on the ground, and his expensive suit was cut into pieces.

"I know, but you came to Bingfeng Hotel to play at eight o'clock in the morning. I guess you are not someone who relies on your own labor, so you can only consider yourself unlucky!"

Martin threw the man to the ground. He felt that he had adapted to the rhythm of Gotham and was much more ruthless than before.

"Master Martin, please show mercy!"

Just as Martin was considering whether to break the suit man's arm or thigh, the Penguin's secretary Candy hurried down from upstairs. The clatter of her high heels on the stairs was louder than her shouts.

He looked up and found that this woman was the secretary he had tracked on the ship yesterday. He was a little surprised. He didn't expect that the other party had escaped Batman's pursuit.

"I want to see the Penguin, not a flirtatious bitch?"

Martin recalled what he saw in the port bar and imitated the workers' rude tone of voice, trying to disguise himself as a capable but brainless fighter.

The secretary did not respond to his insults and still said to Martin politely, "I am Mr. Cobblepot's secretary, my name is Candy, and I now represent Mr. Cobblepot with full authority. You can tell me directly if you have anything to say, and I can make any decision."

"you?"

Martin rolled his eyes, glanced at the hot woman, and said disdainfully: "What can a big-breasted and brainless woman like you know?"

"I know that you are one of the world's top martial artists. You have never been defeated since your debut. You are an absolute master."

Candy clenched her hands, but her face showed no dissatisfaction. She tried to keep smiling, not wanting to offend Martin.

"Well, finally there is someone with eyes. He is much better than those rubbish at the door."

Martin showed a smug expression at the right time after being flattered. He kicked the man in the suit away, puffed out his chest and said, "I heard that there are many talented people in Gotham. I want to challenge all kinds of masters and break through my own limits. But I am not familiar with this city. I want to ask Penguin to help me. I don't mind solving some problems for him."

Martin unceremoniously snatched away Siwa's character.

Candy's eyes lit up instantly: "You will never regret choosing Mr. Cobert..."

"I already regret it!" Martin's face suddenly changed from sunny to cloudy and he interrupted the female secretary.

"A boss whose subordinates are all idiots, he himself is not that capable. I will not stand on the side of a loser."

Martin said this arrogantly and turned away.

"Master, please stay!"

Candy hurriedly grabbed Martin, pressed her whole body against him, and clamped his arms with two large water balls.

"This is just an accident, Master. Mr. Cobblepot had other important matters to attend to, so he transferred all the elite troops and had to leave those rubbish behind. I will arrange a meeting between you and Mr. Cobblepot, and you will not regret it."

Candy's voice is as charming as water, and her sexy voice can drag any man into her unseen deep pool.

Martin was waiting for this opportunity for Penguin to come to him, so he touched the secretary's smooth little hand and nodded:
"For your sake, I will wait until tonight, but I won't wait after that."

After saying that, he pushed away the female secretary who was leaning on him, left his phone number, and left Bingfeng Hotel directly.

After walking several streets, he finally shook off the people who were following him, turned around and walked into a small alley and stopped.

"Huh, pretending to be a bad guy isn't an easy task!"

He quickly adjusted his breathing, but heard a familiar voice above his head.

"Challenging the limits of martial arts? I didn't realize you're also an excellent actor."
