Chapter 706 Give up fantasy and prepare for battle! Lao Fan hand-writes "Twelve Needles of the Heavenly Star"

After returning home, Fang Yan first arranged a room for Lao Fan and Xiao Peng.

Then let them put their things here.

Then, let Lao Fan go to the study room alone to teach acupuncture techniques.

But this time there were too many people in the family and there were no two empty rooms, so they had to sleep in one room.

Of course, this room is actually quite spacious, at least much better than the guesthouse they are staying in now.

The place where they lived, not sure if the person who arranged it before was to bully them intentionally, was at the very end of the corridor of the guesthouse. The lighting in the corridor, washroom and other public areas was dim, and it was pitch black when they went to the toilet.

The wooden window frames in the room were not closed tightly and would bounce open if the wind was a little strong. Guests entering the room had to take turns getting up and closing the windows. The interior was simply furnished with only basic furniture such as wooden beds and bedside tables. The sound insulation was poor and guests had to buy coal with their own money for heating.

Compared with Fangyan's home, it was like a refugee camp.

When I arrived at Fangyan's house, I found that the room was so bright. Although the house is old, it is very well maintained. Each piece of antique furniture inside is exquisite and every detail is refined.

There is even a desk, radio and desk lamp in the room.

There are also slippers, bathrobes, towels, and even toothpaste, toothbrushes, and washbasins specially for guests.

There is a radiator installed in the room, so there is no need to burn coal, and you can feel the warmth as soon as you enter the door.

They had always been curious about what heating was, and now they finally saw it.

Peng Bo turned on the radio in the room, and the sound of songs from the radio station came out immediately. He sat on the antique Ming Dynasty chair in the room and sighed comfortably:
"Brother Fang, this place is great!"

"I wish I could have a yard like this in the future..."

"It doesn't have to be this big, a little smaller will be fine, and I can bring my grandparents, and my parents over to enjoy their happiness for a few days, then this life will be worth it."

Fan Changting said to Bloomberg:

"What did your child say before he got on the train?"

"After I finish my studies, I will return to Jiangyou and contribute my own strength to the development of Jiangyou's medicinal materials industry!"

Bloomberg was very upset by Fan Changting's words:

"Hey, Brother Fan, I haven't forgotten. Let me fantasize about it!"

Fan Changting said to Bloomberg:

"What a fantasy! What you see now is what Fangyan got through his own hard work. You have to give up your fantasy and prepare for a fight! Work hard to get it yourself!"

After saying that, he turned off the radio with one hand.

Then he took out a very thin acupuncture book from his bag.

These are the Twelve Heavenly Star Needles that will be given to Fangyan.

Peng Bo stood up from his chair and said to Fan Changting:
"Brother Fan, I am different from you who study Chinese medicine. I study Chinese herbal medicine. My job is just to help you. I am destined to never be valued in this life."

Fan Changting stuffed the book into his pocket and said to Peng Bo:

"You kid, you always say depressing things."

Bloomberg asked Fan Changting:
"Brother Fan, tell me, among all the famous Chinese medicine practitioners over the years, is there a famous Chinese medicine pharmacist?"

Fan Changting said:
"Of course there are, including the Tang Dynasty's King of Medicine Sun Simiao, the founder of Chinese medicine Tong Jun, the Taoist and Chinese medicine expert Tao Hongjing of the Northern and Southern Dynasties, and Li Shizhen of the Ming Dynasty!"

After that, he patted Peng Bo on the shoulder and encouraged him:

"Don't lose confidence. There is still a bright future for Chinese medicine practitioners."

"Oh, by the way, Fang Yan's method of preparing pig's hoof nails was a new medicine he developed last year and won an award. That's what a Chinese medicine practitioner should do. Do you still say that Chinese medicine practitioners have no future?"

Peng Bo regained some confidence after hearing this, but he changed his mind and said:

"Brother Fang's brain is so useful. I guess there are not many people in the country who can compare to him."

Lao Fan said to him:
"You've even made it to the capital, which means you're not stupid! You should have confidence in yourself and don't restrict your thoughts."

After saying this, he lowered his voice and said mysteriously:
"Believe me, I can read faces. You will achieve extraordinary things in the future."

Hearing this, Bloomberg's eyes lit up and he said in surprise:
"real or fake?"

Lao Fan said in a low voice:
"Of course it's true. Taoists need to make a living, so they learn mountain medicine and fortune-telling. I'm an expert in this area, so I won't tell ordinary people about it."

Then he patted Xiao Peng on the shoulder:

"Okay, okay, what I just said to you is known only to you and me, don't tell anyone else."

"Yeah..." Xiao Peng nodded repeatedly.

Lao Fan patted the Twelve Star Needles in his pocket and said:

"Okay, just stay here and don't move. I'll be back in a while."

"Okay!" Xiao Peng agreed obediently.

Then Lao Fan pushed the door open and went out to look for Fangyan.

When Lao Fan pushed open the door of Fangyan's study, he was startled by a big black-backed wolfdog.

Hei Nuo sat on the ground, looking at the stranger Lao Fan warily.

All his muscles were tense, as if he was ready to pounce at any moment.

"Blackie, he's a guest."

The voice of dialect rose in the room at this time.

The big wolf dog Hei Nuo suddenly relaxed, then trotted to Fang Yan and wagged her tail to please him.

Old Fan finally breathed a sigh of relief. Although he was prepared, he was still scared by the dog.

Only then did he realize how big Fangyan’s entire study was.

And the whole house is filled with bookshelves piled high with books.

With just a quick glance, he found that they were basically ancient Chinese medical books.

Lao Fan was shocked again. He stuttered and asked in dialect:

"This...is this your study?"

"Well, how is it?" Fang Yan asked Lao Fan with a smile, pointing to the seat in front of the desk.

Lao Fan sighed:
"It's so big, even bigger than the classroom in our commune."

"I see most of the books in this room are ancient Chinese medical books, right?"

The dialect said:

"Not most of them, but basically all of them. They were given to me by my master." Lao Fan asked Fang Yan:

"Who is your master?"

Dialect waving hands:
"Well, you wouldn't know even if I told you. He wasn't in the newspapers."

After that, he handed a cup of tea to Lao Fan:

"Come for tea."

Lao Fan took it, smelled it, then nodded and said:

"What kind of tea is this? It smells so good!"

The dialect said:

"It was given to me by someone, who said it was Keemun black tea. I thought it smelled good, so I served it to them."

Lao Fan quickly took a sip, then he frowned and smacked his lips:
"Tsk tsk, why does it taste like sweet potatoes?"

Fangyan also took a sip and said with a smile:

"Haha, you know what, they really look a bit like each other."

After that, he said to Lao Fan:

"Forget it, forget it, just drink it."

Lao Fan blew on it, drank it in one gulp, then took out the book of the Twelve Needles of the Heavenly Star from his pocket and said to Fang Yan:

"I wrote this when I was learning acupuncture. Take a look at it first. If you have any questions, just ask me."

After saying that, he handed the thing to Fangyan.

Fangyan took the booklet and touched it. It felt very thin, but it was all written in Lao Fan’s own handwriting.

It can be seen that it has undergone many revisions subsequently. It should be because it is frequently reviewed and some of the author's own experience is added to it.

When Fangyan saw the first thing, it was written about the origin of the Twelve Heavenly Star Needles.

It is an acupuncture therapy inherited from Taoism and developed by Qiong Yao Zhenren of the Song Dynasty and Ma Danyang Zushi of the Yuan Dynasty.

It says that the eleven-point acupuncture method was first created by Qiong Yao in the Song Dynasty, and was integrated into the Taoist Tiangang Beidou theory, and the space-time acupuncture concept of "harmony between heaven and man". Later, Ma Danyang of the Quanzhen Sect added Taichong point, perfecting it into twelve points, and compiled "Song of the Twelve Heavenly Star Points for Treating Miscellaneous Diseases", forming a complete system.

However, due to the restrictions of Taoist rules, the core "Tian Gang Zhen Jue" is only passed on orally between master and disciple. Lao Fan himself does not have the true secret, only the acupoint rhyme.

The rhyme is written at the back, and the dialect can be seen by turning the page:

Sanli and Neiting points are connected with Quchi and Hegu points.

Weizhong is paired with Chengshan, Taichong and Kunlun points.

Huantiao, Yangling, Tongli and Lieque.

The method for carrying something together is to carry it, and the method for cutting something together is to cut it.

There are three hundred and sixty acupoints, and they are all within the twelve secrets.

The treatment is like a god, as smooth as pouring soup on snow.

Beidou brings down the truth, and the golden lock opens.

Only a wise person can teach it, but a wrong person should not talk about it casually.

The last sentence of the rhyme, "Only the wise can teach, but not the unsuitable ones should talk about it" emphasizes that inheritance should be done with caution and should not be passed on to unsuitable people.

Then turn the page and you will see the specific rhymes for each acupoint.

D:
Sanli is below the knee joint, three inches between the two tendons. It can relieve abdominal distension, treat stomach cold, intestinal rumbling and diarrhea, leg swelling and knee pain, typhoid fever, emaciation, Qi poisoning and other diseases. After the age of thirty, the eyes will become wider after acupuncture. The acupoints should be carefully selected, and eight points are strong and safe.

Inner Court:

Nei Ting is located outside the second finger and belongs to the foot yangming. It can treat coldness in the limbs, preference for quiet and dislike of hearing noise, urticaria and sore throat, yawning and toothache, malaria and inability to eat, and the patient will feel awake after acupuncture. Acupuncture three points, moxibustion three points.

Quchi:

Take the Quchi point with your hands bent, and look for it near the elbow bone. It is good for curing pain in the elbow, hemiplegia, inability to draw a bow, slow tendons, don’t comb your hair, throat closure, fever, wind ringworm and leprosy all over the body, and it will heal immediately after acupuncture. Acupuncture for five minutes, moxibustion for three strong.

Hegu...

There are twelve acupoints in total.

The twelve acupoints discovered in the dialect are all located on the limbs, far away from the vital organs, and are suitable for first aid and self-study.

The rhyme says, "The cure is like a god, as smooth as pouring broth on snow," which describes how quick the effect is.

The core theory and application of the acupuncture point matching method is known as holding the Big Dipper in hand and connecting the universe with needles.

Dan Pharaoh Fan wrote it in a simple and easy-to-understand way, which is the coordination of two holes.

The interception method is to block a single point.

Due to limited space, Lao Fan only wrote some simple things. Turning to the back, you will find the taboos of the core time.

Kunlun acupoint: Contraindicated during the Shen time (15:00-17:00) Reason: The Qi and blood of the bladder meridian are most abundant during the Shen time, and deep needling can easily cause hematoma or Qi reversal.

Lieque point: Taboo during the Mao hour (5:00-7:00) Reason: The Qi and blood in the lung meridian are just beginning to rise, and excessive stimulation can easily cause Qi to go against the flow and induce coughing.

Taichong acupoint is contraindicated during the Chou hour (1:00-3:00). Reason: Acupuncture during the liver meridian's season is likely to disturb the liver soul and induce nightmares or convulsions.

There are also taboos of the Big Dipper constellation, such as Pojun star on duty
It says taboos: On that day, do not use the "interception method" to prick blood (such as bloodletting at the weizhong point) as it can easily lead evil spirits into the body.

The calculation method is based on the Taoist "Beidou Jing". The duty cycle of Pojun Star is once every seven days.

Of course, this also prohibits giving injections to pregnant women.

After the taboos, there are also remedial measures for accidentally puncturing the acupoints.

As Lao Fan wrote:

Mistakenly puncturing Kunlun acupoint:
Immediately apply moxibustion to the Zhiyin point (outside the little toe) to guide the bladder meridian qi downward.

Taichong acupoint accidental injury:
Press the Qimen point (liver-recruiting point) and silently recite the "Qingjing Jing" to calm the liver and stop wind.

Fangyan discovered that the time taboo system of the Twelve Heavenly Needles combines the Taoist Beidou belief and the theory of Ziwu Liuzhu, and requires strict adherence to the correspondence between "Tiangang time" and "human body's qi rhythm" in actual practice.

Before I knew it, I had finished reading the booklet in a few seconds.

Then the system reminder sounded.
