Chapter 41 Have you started talking to Mr. Qu?

Qu Yanci rested his left hand on his forehead, his long legs crossed, and he knew it was her without turning his head. "Is your back feeling better?"

If someone who doesn't know the situation heard this, they might misunderstand it; it's somewhat ambiguous.

Shen Guining approached and replied, "Much better, thank you, Mr. Qu."

"Can you fight?" Qu Yanci asked again.

Shen Guining shook her head. "No."

She rarely goes to golf courses. She tried to learn to play golf, but it was too difficult, and she couldn't grasp the essentials.

Golf is a sport that seems to be designed specifically for business people, who like to discuss business while playing, and often even use a goal as a wager for cooperation.

“Mr. Su,” Shen Guining replied politely.

Su Yuchen gave a meaningful smile and turned his gaze to Qu Yanci.

It's unusual to bring someone along when discussing work.

"Are you very free?" Qu Yanci asked in a deep, slow voice.

"You've seen it all."

"I can recommend you to Chairman Su for that project in South Africa."

Su Yuchen immediately stopped smiling and admitted defeat, "No, no, no! We're brothers, you're trying to push me into a corner!"

Jin Yuhan made a sarcastic remark from the side, "Isn't South Africa pretty good?"

Su Yuchen raised an eyebrow. "What, you want to come with me?"

Jin Yuhan gave him one word: "Get lost."

Shen Guining found their bickering quite amusing.

It was lunchtime when a staff member came over to ask Qu Yanci, "Mr. Qu, lunch has been prepared for you. Would you like to eat now?"

Su Yuchen wanted to freeload a meal. "Hey, we haven't eaten yet either, Brother Ci, you don't mind if there are two more of us, right?"

Qu Yanci found him annoying, "Can eating shut you up?"

Su Yucheng: "Absolutely."

On the way to the restaurant, Jin Yuhan asked Shen Guining softly, "Did Mr. Qu help you get the trending topics?"

Only Mr. Qu has the ability to get official clarification and for marketing accounts to voluntarily delete their posts.

Shen Guining nodded. "Mm."

Jin Yuhan blinked, "Have you started talking to Mr. Qu?"

Shen Guining hesitated, unsure how to answer. She wasn't sure if this meant they were dating.

"Maybe not."

Mr. Qu was indeed very good to her, but he never acknowledged the relationship.

But it wasn't that important to her anyway, since it would all have to end eventually.

Jin Yuhan didn't ask any further questions.

All sorts of relationships exist within this circle; it's nothing unusual.

Just like her and Su Yucheng, they're compatible in bed, that's enough, they don't necessarily have to be in a relationship.

The restaurant is on the third floor of the clubhouse. The staff arranged the best private room for us, and the service was impeccable throughout.

Shen Guining couldn't help but ask, "Mr. Qu, how did you know what I was thinking?"

"Guess."

How could someone guess so accurately?
Qu Yanci raised his hand and glanced at his watch. "I have some things to do this afternoon. If you're feeling bored, I'll have the driver take you home first."

"Will you be busy for a long time?"

"About an hour and a half."

Shen Guining thought for a moment, "Then can I wait for you here?"

She has nothing to do back home; the environment here is nice and quite comfortable.

Qu Yanci nodded, "Okay."

As Shen Guining stepped out of the elevator on the first floor, a golden retriever suddenly appeared from around the corner and nudged her calf.

"Where did this dog come from?"

Qu Yanci watched her bend down to pet the golden retriever's head. "Aren't you afraid?"

Shen Guining paused slightly, her gaze narrowing. "It looks very docile."

After a moment of silence, she explained, "I was startled last time because it was too dark, and that golden retriever suddenly jumped out. I actually quite like dogs."

She had always wanted to have a puppy, but Shen Yue hated dogs and would never allow one in the house.

The caddy jogged over and led away the large dog in front of Shen Guining. "Sorry, this is a guest's golden retriever. I wasn't watching it for a moment."

In the afternoon, Qu Yanci was discussing business with his friends in the teahouse, while Shen Guining wandered around outside alone.

The weather was lovely, with a gentle breeze and the scent of fresh grass filling the air, making it very relaxing.

The grass on golf courses is meticulously maintained by professionals, which incurs a huge expense every year.

The distant lakes, mountains, and sand dunes create a vivid oil painting.

Shen Guining took out her phone and took a few photos.

Next to the stadium is a tree-lined path with sycamore trees on both sides that block out the sky. When the wind blows, the branches and leaves sway and fall, creating a special atmosphere of late autumn.

I ran into a staff member walking his dog.

It was a large white dog with a wedge-shaped head, drooping ears, almond-shaped eyes, thick fur, and a sturdy build.

Shen Guining had never seen this breed of dog before and asked curiously, "Excuse me, what kind of dog is this?"

The staff member stopped, pulling on the leash, and explained with a smile: "This is a Great Pyrenees, also known as the Pyrenean Mountain Dog. It used to be a noble dog in France."

Shen Guining didn't know if it was fierce or not, so she didn't dare to get too close. "It's so beautiful."

It has an elegant appearance, no wonder it's a noble dog.
