Maitreya Buddha said:

"It's very simple, because the spirit of the Great Sage is resistance. If this spirit of resistance spreads throughout the world and affects all living beings, the Way of Heaven will definitely be affected. At that time, the Jade Emperor's control over the Way of Heaven may be in trouble.

This is a matter that shakes the foundation of the Heavenly Court's rule. In comparison, the life or death of the Great Sage is actually insignificant."

"So, in the True Lord's previous plan to resurrect the Great Sage, not only did the Heavenly Court and Lingshan not care, but they also supported the True Lord. It was because the True Lord made them think that you resurrected a Fighting and Victorious Buddha who did not resist but only knew how to obey."

"I see. I now know the situation of heaven and earth. I am more confident about the future. Thank you, Buddha from the East, for telling me."

"It's just what I can do. If you need me to do anything in the future, just tell me. This is the hope of this world."

It seems that they can compete with the Buddha, or even defeat him.

With this kind of strength, if we plan a little, we can really change a lot of things.

"It is my wish to clean up the world. If I can bring peace to the people, I will not regret it even if I die!"

"If the Jade Emperor hears what you said when he is awake, perhaps he will be glad to have such a good nephew like you."

Lin Yuan suddenly asked again:
"Is there any pattern between when the Jade Emperor is lucid and when he is controlled by his delusional mind? What is his current situation?"

He felt that he could make good use of his identity as the Jade Emperor's nephew.

Maitreya Buddha said:
"The Jade Emperor's two minds are fighting each other. He is sometimes clear-headed and sometimes controlled by his delusional mind. But most of the time, he is in a state of confusion."

"The power of the Heavenly Court is mostly handled by the Supreme Lord Laojun."

"Now, I estimate that in the next few hundred years, we will be in a state of confusion, unless the will of the world and all living things changes and touches the way of heaven."

Lin Yuan nodded:
"I see."

"In that case, I have been here for a while, and it is time to go back. If you have any questions or need me for something in the future, you can contact me at any time, and I will definitely respond."

But before Maitreya left, he said:

"After the True Lord expands the blessed world, will you allow me to open a few Buddhist temples in it?"

"Yes, it's just a small matter, but you should have seen my response and blessing to the common people. I won't help you do those things."

Lin Yuan said.

Maitreya Buddha nodded: "Of course I know. It is enough that the True Lord promised me to open a Buddhist temple here."

“All sentient beings need to take refuge in the Three Jewels, observe the precepts, and give alms according to the Dharma in order to accumulate merit.”

"One should concentrate on reciting the thirty-two marks and eighty virtues of the Buddha, and chant the holy name of Maitreya Bodhisattva. With this merit, one can transcend the sins of ninety-six billion kalpas of birth and death."

Golden Buddhist temples appeared from the sky and landed in various places outside Guanjiangkou, exactly six in total.

The people were all surprised, but no one approached. One person said:

"With the protection of the True Lord, why would I believe in Maitreya Buddha?"

Someone echoed:
"If the True Lord does not show his holiness, the Buddhas will not show their power. If the True Lord shows his holiness, Maitreya Buddha will follow closely. From this point of view, the True Lord is better."

Some people also said:

"Why don't we go to the Buddhist temple and see what benefits Maitreya Buddha can bring us?"

But soon someone scolded him:

"What do you mean? Do you want to betray the True Lord's faith?!"

The man was immediately criticized by thousands of people, but he gritted his teeth and spoke:

“Although the True Lord is kind to us, we can only ask for food when we are starving.

But the definition of hunger is not clear. I haven't eaten for a day, so I can be considered hungry, right?

But after I kowtowed three times, no food appeared. "

"Maybe if I go to the Maitreya Buddha Temple, I can get some food. That way, I won't have to endure another day of suffering."

After saying that, he no longer cared about the crowd and ran straight to a temple.

Some people pointed at him and cursed him for being ungrateful, while others rolled their eyes and seemed to want to follow and take a look.

After a while, three or two people followed.

In the sky, Maitreya Buddha saw this and came to the Zhenjun Mansion. He said to Lin Yuan with a little apology:
"What I did caused a conflict. It was my fault."

Lin Yuan shook his head:

"If people's hearts are like this, why would the Buddha come to Guandong? I protect all living beings, but I only give them a relatively stable environment and give them food, so they can at least starve for three days and three nights. More importantly, I hope they can be self-reliant.

Otherwise, if I had been given the seeds, I would not have asked for a 50% harvest. What would be the use of that harvest?
I just want them to be able to strengthen themselves.”

"Since some people want to gain more without working, such people are not suitable for me. It is also a good thing for me to join the Buddha from the East, shave my head and become a monk, chanting scriptures all day long."

Lin Yuan wants his believers to constantly strive for self-improvement, but as for those who are greedy, let Buddhism brainwash them.

Maitreya Buddha nodded:

"If that's the case, then I can rest assured to spread the Buddha's teachings and save them."

"Your Majesty has great ambitions in cultivating a group of self-reliant believers."

The power of incense.

In terms of research level, Buddhism is second, and even Taoism does not dare to claim to be first.

After all, Taoism focuses on eating Qi, refining elixirs, and ascending to become immortals.

Incense is more related to the Confucian Shinto system.

The Confucian Shinto system does not conduct in-depth research on incense, but uses incense to create gods, worship ancestors, and respect Heaven.

It is different in Buddhism. They have done in-depth research on incense, so they also know how to enable sentient beings to offer purer and higher quality incense.

But how can we make the power of incense offered by all living beings of higher quality?
The heart is strong as one.

Sincerity is the second.

A strong heart means a person with a strong inner self, and in the eyes of Maitreya Buddha, what Lin Yuan does is to cultivate such a group of people.

Sincerity needs no further explanation.

Lin Yuan gave those things to those people. Anyone with a conscience would be sincere.

And
If you worship sincerely for three years, you will be immune to all diseases.

Just based on this point, those people will continue to hypnotize themselves to be sincere.

In comparison.

Their Buddhist practice is to convert people to Buddhism, chanting scriptures all day long to strengthen their hearts and make them more pious.

But this approach is actually not very effective.

Many people cannot persist in reciting a part of the sutra.

Compare it this way.

It seems better for Lin Yuan to use the most basic food rations to cultivate the people's spirit of self-reliance.

"But I can't imitate Buddhism after all."

Maitreya Buddha shook his head regretfully.

Because what Buddhism seeks is not simply incense and offerings.

It is even more suitable for people who practice Buddhism.

If you can find a few people with outstanding talents, it will be more meaningful than simply gaining incense.

"I believe that as long as the True Lord maintains this situation for a few years, the incense power he can obtain from the people will be enough to meet the needs of the people without consuming his own mana, and he can even get extra incense power."

"And they are all extremely pure incense power."

"In this way, in the long run, what you gain will definitely far exceed what you put in!"

“Even when there are more people”

"They can shake the Way of Heaven, and even the True Lord is the manifestation of the Way of Heaven!"

Think of this.

Some things in Maitreya Buddha's mind suddenly became clear.

His eyes widened and he exclaimed:
"You are so wise!"

"Is this really the real plan of the True Lord? To bless the world and expand the Pure Land. In fact, it is also to fight for the Heavenly Dao!"

"And Zhenjun is the nephew of the Jade Emperor."

"If the Jade Emperor sees this when he is sober, not only will he not be angry, but he may go with the flow and hand over the throne of the Emperor of Heaven to completely solve the problem of heaven and earth!"

Maitreya Buddha looks toward the sky:
"I just wonder if the next time the Jade Emperor comes out of his confusion, he will be sober or controlled by his delusions."
