Chapter 47 Differential Treatment
The two male bears looked at each other, unsure of what she meant.

After a while, Slok tentatively took two steps forward and stammered, "..."
"Me, me?"

Guo Mi's eyes were kind, and her voice was gentle.

"Yes, come here, I'm going to 'make it up' to you."

Slok turned around instantly and cast a pleading look at his cold-blooded older brother.

Caesar immediately looked away, plopped down, looked up at the sky, and looked down at the snow, not sparing him a single glance.

Slok suddenly felt hurt, turned to look at Guo Mi again, swallowed hard, closed his eyes, and walked forward with a death-defying air.

Guo Mi turned around and picked through her pile of fish, selecting the largest one. She tossed it towards Slock with her paw and tapped it on the surface.
"Eat."

As soon as he finished speaking, Caesar, who had just been pretending to admire the scenery, immediately turned around and looked at Guo Mi in disbelief.

Slock's tightly closed eyes suddenly opened, and he looked at the fish in front of him in surprise. Then he looked up at Guo Mi, and after a long while, he hesitated and said:

"Correct."

Noticing the sudden shift in Guo Mi's gaze towards danger, Slok quickly said:
"No, no, I won't bite the cubs. I love the cubs."

Guo Mi chuckled. Stupid bear. One second you were bitten for trying to hit a bear cub, and the next you're telling her you like bear cubs? Do you think she'll believe you?
Slok knew he looked like a conman, so to increase his credibility, he thought for a moment and then proactively mentioned:
"I also have a cub, but only one!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Caesar's ears twitched imperceptibly as he sat by the lake.

Guo Mi was quite surprised, since male bears don't have a concept of parenthood, right?
Slok chuckled twice, as if he had just thought of something: "Last year I got together with another female bear, and this year she gave birth to my cub and her cub. That's my first bear cub!"
