Chapter 129 What would you do if it were you?

No matter what bad things happened to the little bear yesterday, the sun will still rise the next day, the wind will still blow, the flowers will still bloom, the rabbits will still come out to forage, and the mosquitoes will still bite the animals as usual. The world will not change its natural order because of the setbacks of a certain creature.

Guo Mi and Xia Tian moved their positions with Da Bai, following the wind direction. Noon was the time when the sun was shining the brightest and the temperature was the highest.

The polar bears were all a bit hot and listless, lying there lazily.

"probably not."

Although the little bear is childish, the salmon has the courage to protect her and her brother, and even though the fishbone is timid, it has the determination to live. She doesn't believe they will be defeated here.

Summer smiled and said nothing more.

Two more hours passed, the sunlight began to weaken, the unbearable temperature gradually dropped, and the rabbits on the plains had passed their active period. Most of them returned to their burrows, while a few scattered ones were still wandering in the grass, trying to find some food that had been missed.

The two little bears finally stood up, looking around listlessly. They weren't as energetic as they were yesterday. Instead, they gave up and started chasing the rabbits around them!

As expected, after several failed attempts, the rabbits were all frightened back into their burrows.

The salmon kept digging at the hole twice, but the rabbit darted out from another hole, turned, and disappeared into yet another hole before the salmon finally gave up.

The bear that failed simply collapsed to the ground and never moved again.

Guo Mi breathed a sigh of relief for them, her eyes filled with even more worry.

Summer sat up and looked around, then suddenly asked Guo Mi:

"If it were you, how would you catch the rabbit?"

Guo Mi tilted her head and thought for a moment, then confidently said:
"I will plug the hole."

Summer hummed in agreement, then turned her head thoughtfully. When she looked back at the two little bears, she suddenly laughed:
"Sometimes I think that these two little bears are more like your own children."

Guo Mi didn't react for a moment, but when she turned around, she found that the two little bears had completely shaken off their previous dejected and evasive appearance and had suddenly started digging holes in different directions!
However, this time their purpose in digging the hole was not to find the rabbits inside, but to collapse the entrance!
To increase their speed, they started using their body weight to jump around the hole, trampling on some of the more vulnerable openings.

The little bear stomped twice more, firmly sealing the collapsed hole.

It jumped and hopped, moving very fast.

Guo Mi stared for a while and suddenly realized that all the animals they were blocking were the burrows from which the rabbits had run out when the salmon was chasing them and digging holes.

Her eyes lit up, and she was pleasantly surprised.

So, the two bear cubs' actions of catching the rabbit weren't a desperate act, but rather an attempt to observe in advance which holes were connected?
Rabbits are used to hiding in their burrows; for them, nowhere is safer than their burrows.

If one or two holes are suddenly collapsed, you'll only be startled. If the third or fourth hole is dug down, you'll start to panic, but you won't think about what happened.

By the time most of the openings are blocked, it's already too late even if you realize it.

The collapsed burrow entrance won't be able to be dug open by the rabbits anytime soon.
