Chapter 47 Stalemate
Song Youan's face showed hidden anger as she turned and flung the office door wide open: "I have nothing to talk to you about, please leave."

"Leave?" Boss Wang scoffed, and his henchmen laughed along. Boss Wang glared fiercely at Gu Tianpei and said, "Mr. Gu, you invited us here, and now you want to kick us out?"

Do you know what it means to invite a god but find it hard to send him away?

"Mr. Wang, I invited you here to discuss business. You don't need to talk like that." Gu Tianpei's tone was slightly somber as he subtly shielded Song Youan behind him.

Boss Wang snorted coldly, his eyes filled with disdain: "Talk business?"

He held up a thick, short finger and waved it in front of Gu Tianpei's eyes: "No, no, Mr. Gu, you seem to have misunderstood our relationship. My relationship with you is one of debt and loan, not a business partnership."

"In terms of status, I am the father, and you are the son!"

Gu Tianpei's face turned even uglier upon hearing this, but he was well aware of his current predicament. He had only resorted to this desperate measure because he had no other options, and he did indeed need the other party's help.

Just as she was about to speak, Song Youan stepped forward again: "You're not leaving? Then I'll call the police!"

After saying that, Song Youan took out her phone to call the police without saying another word.

Upon seeing this, Boss Wang's eyes widened, and he cursed, "Damn it, Mr. Gu, are you trying to trick me?"

As he spoke, he tried to snatch the phone from Song You'an's hand, and several of his henchmen rushed forward as well.

Seeing that things were getting out of hand, Gu Tianpei shouted, "Don't do anything rash! There are security cameras in my office!"

That one sentence truly stunned Mr. Wang and his group.

Song Youan picked up her phone and showed it to the other party. The screen was still on the dialing page. She hadn't actually called the police yet: "My brother is not cooperating with you anymore. If you don't leave, I'll call the police right now!"

"Are you kidding me?" Boss Wang looked at Gu Tianpei and said, "You'd better think carefully about where you're going to borrow this money after I walk out of this door!"

Gu Tianpei hesitated. He didn't know who else he could borrow from, and he knew in his heart that cooperating with these lenders was tantamount to asking a tiger for its skin.

But he……

"I'll borrow it."

Chi Yu's voice rang out, and his tall figure appeared at the doorway.

He had his hands in his trouser pockets, exuding a cold and aloof aura.

The sudden appearance of strangers startled both Gu Tianpei and Boss Wang.

"Who the hell are you?" Boss Wang cursed as he came to his senses.

Chi Yu ignored him and looked at Gu Tianpei, saying, "Mr. Gu, I am You An's friend. If you need money, I can lend it to you interest-free!"

The words "interest-free" made Mr. Wang's eyes widen in fury. Was this kid indirectly insulting him?

Gu Tianpei was stunned. He looked at his sister and asked, "You'an, this one..."

Song Youan nodded: "Brother, my friend is very rich. With me as your guarantor, neither of you needs to worry."

Gu Tianpei hesitated again. He felt that Youan and her friend hadn't figured out the situation yet. What he needed wasn't just money, but a lot of money.

"Are you all tired of living? I came all this way in this sweltering heat to argue with you..."

Before Boss Wang could finish speaking, Chi Yu interrupted him.

He asked coldly, "Who are you working for? Fu Xiangdong? Lin He? Or Ma Youjie?" Each of the three names made Boss Wang shudder when Chi Yu uttered them.

His expression shifted from anger to apprehension, even tinged with fear: "You...who are you? How did you know..."

Chi Yu remained expressionless, glancing indifferently at Boss Wang and his group: "Loans to building materials companies range from a million to tens of millions. You guys... don't seem like people with that much money."

"In Jinghai, I know all the bosses who do this business in secret. One of the people I just mentioned must be your boss, right?"

Mr. Wang thought for a moment, his eyes darting around, and then asked, "Who exactly are you?"

"My name is Chi Yu, and this is my business card."

Chi Yu took a black business card from the top pocket of his suit and handed it to the other person.

Mr. Wang looked down and his eyes widened involuntarily. The general manager of Lanting Club?
Is it that Lanting Club? It should be. He said he knows his boss, and his boss is a member of Lanting Club.

But he's just a general manager, would he really dare to interfere in his boss's business?

"Mr. Chi, my apologies." Boss Wang put the business card away, his panic and unease dissipating. He regained his composure: "Whether you know my boss or not, this deal can't be left like this. This isn't a small business. If you insist on interfering..."

He didn't finish his sentence, but the threatening tone in his words was already very clear.

These are the people who work tirelessly for big bosses; when they really go crazy, they're not people that ordinary people can handle.

"Okay." Chi Yu nodded lightly, calmly took out his phone, and searched through his contacts for a long time before finally settling on Fu Xiangdong's name. He showed the phone to Boss Wang: "Fu Xiangdong should be your boss, right?"

Mr. Wang was taken aback and subconsciously asked, "How did you know?"

“Because of your accent, Mr. Fu is from Nan’an, and you also have a Nan’an accent.” Chi Yu said, and then made the call directly and put it on speakerphone.

After the phone rang twice, Fu Xiangdong's enthusiastic voice came from the other end: "Oh, Mr. Chi, how are you!"

"President Fu, it's been a long time. The last time was when you celebrated your birthday at our Lanting Restaurant," President Chi said calmly.

"Haha... I've been very busy lately. Now that you mention it, Mr. Chi, I suddenly remembered that I should thank you for the fine wine you gave me on my birthday. It was very precious, and you went to great lengths for me."

"Mr. Fu, please don't be so polite. You've been a long-time customer of Lanting for many years. Since you chose Lanting for such an important birthday celebration, we naturally have to show our appreciation. The wine was a gift from Lanting, so it can't be attributed to me personally."

In just a few words, Song Youan gained a very direct understanding of Chi Yu's ability to maintain customer relationships.

It's not that his sales skills are particularly impressive, but rather that his tone and attitude when communicating with clients are exceptionally natural, just like a friend.

"Mr. Chi, you're usually so busy, why are you calling me all of a sudden? Is there something you need?"

After exchanging pleasantries, Fu Xiangdong took the initiative to get down to business.

Chi Yu paused slightly, looked up at Boss Wang in front of him, and found that he was starting to get nervous again.

"Yes, Mr. Fu's people lent money to the wrong people, and I happened to be there."

There was a moment of silence on the other end of the phone. Logically speaking, these big bosses' private high-interest lending is a secret business, because it can't be exposed to the light of day.

But Chi Yu knew this, and he even said it so openly.
