Zhuang Yan first thanked the Jade Emperor for the rewards, then put away all the rewards, thanked the Jade Emperor again, and finally returned to the immortal team.

The Jade Emperor nodded slightly and said, "It is because that demon monkey was rude and disruptive, ruining the Peach Banquet, that I summoned all the immortals here to discuss how to capture the demon monkey."

After that, the Jade Emperor said: "Please ask Yuqing Ziyuanjun, Guanyin Bodhisattva and all the Bodhisattvas to join the immortal group and take a seat." Lishan Laomu, Guanyin Bodhisattva and all the Bodhisattvas thanked the Jade Emperor, and then flew into the immortal group.

At this time, they looked into the Haotian Mirror and saw that the battle had ceased, with only the banner of the Great Sage Equaling Heaven flying in the sky. So Guanyin Bodhisattva came out and asked, "Your Majesty, how is the battle to capture the demon monkey going?"

The Jade Emperor sighed and said, "That demon monkey is indeed very powerful. I sent Li Tianwang, Nezha, the heavenly generals, and Putianxingxiang, a total of 100,000 heavenly soldiers and generals, but none of them could subdue it. Now it has been completely defeated by the demon monkey."

Guanyin Bodhisattva smiled and said, "In this case, I would like to recommend someone who will definitely be able to catch the demon monkey."

"Oh?" The Jade Emperor asked quickly, "Who did the Bodhisattva recommend?"

Guanyin Bodhisattva said: "He is your majesty's nephew, Erlang Zhenjun, who now lives in Guanzhou Guanjiangkou and enjoys the incense from below. He once killed six monsters with his strength, and he also has the Meishan brothers and 1,200 grass-headed gods in front of his tent. He has great magical powers. But he only listens to orders and not to announcements. Your majesty can issue an order to mobilize troops and ask him to help, and then he can be captured."

Upon hearing this, the Jade Emperor, in the spirit of using it as long as it is useful, immediately raised his head and called out, "Where is Lingtai Dongming Jun?"

When Zhuang Yan heard the Jade Emperor calling him again, he immediately stepped out of the immortal group, bowed and said, "I am here."

At this time, the Bodhisattva Guanyin above looked at Zhuang Yan with a pair of compassionate eyes. After looking Zhuang Yan up and down, she nodded slightly.

The Jade Emperor said, "I want you to go down to the lower world and go to Guanjiangkou in Nanzhanbuzhou to pass on the order and dispatch Erlang Shen to send troops to subdue the monster."

Zhuang Yan bowed and said, "I obey your order."

Afterwards, the Jade Emperor issued an edict, which Zhuang Yan received. He then bowed to the Jade Emperor and left the palace.

Zhuang Yan left the realm of Nantianmen and entered the territory of Nanzhanbuzhou.

The southern continent has vast skies, vast land, abundant resources and dense population. In terms of human climate, it is far superior to the other three continents.

Zhuang Yan came out of nowhere and entered Guanzhou in a short while and came to the Erlang Zhenjun Temple at Guanjiangkou.

Zhuang Yan entered the temple with the imperial edict in hand, and called out the gatekeeper, the ghost judge, saying, "I am the messenger from Heaven, and I have the Jade Emperor's order to convey it to Erlang Xiansheng Zhenjun."

Erlang Shen and his brothers from Meishan went out to greet him. When Erlang Shen walked out of the temple gate, Zhuang Yan's eyes lit up immediately. He saw that this Erlang Zhenjun:

Wearing a three-mountain flying phoenix hat and a light yellow collar.

The gold boots are lined with dragon socks, and the jade belt is decorated with eight treasures of flowers.

He wore a crescent-shaped slingshot on his waist and held a three-pointed, double-edged spear in his hand.

He was so proud that he didn't recognize his family in heaven, and so he returned to God and lived in Guanjiang.

The heroic saint Zhaohui of Akagi manifests his boundless power and is called Erlang.

Zhuang Yan had the Jade Emperor's order in his hand. Although his official rank was lower than Erlang Shen's, he could not take the initiative to step forward to pay a visit.

Instead, it was Erlang Shen who stepped forward and bowed first, then ordered people to set up an table, burn incense, and bowed to listen to the order.

Zhuang Yan read out the decree, "There is now a demon monkey in the Flower-Fruit Mountain causing chaos. It has been stealing peaches, wine, and elixirs from the Heavenly Palace, disrupting the Peach Festival. We have deployed 100,000 Heavenly Soldiers and 18 Heavenly and Earthly Nets to surround the mountain and ambush it, but have not succeeded. I am now dispatching my nephew and his sworn brother to go to the Flower-Fruit Mountain to help eliminate the demon monkey. If you succeed, you will be promoted and rewarded handsomely."

Erlang Shen was overjoyed when he heard the order and said, "Angel, please go back. I will go and help you with my sword."

Zhuang Yan nodded, gave the order and returned to report.

Afterwards, Erlang Shen led the Six Saints of Meishan, 'the four generals Kang, Zhang, Yao, and Li, and the two generals Guo Shen and Zhi Jian', assembled their own divine soldiers, rode eagles and led dogs, set up crossbows and drew bows, and raised a strong wind. In an instant, they crossed the East China Sea and arrived outside the Flower-Fruit Mountain.

Erlang Shen came to the front of the Heavenly Army camp and said, "Listen, you Gods guarding the Heavenly Net. I am Erlang Xiansheng Zhenjun. I have been sent by the Jade Emperor to capture the demon monkey. Open the camp gate immediately and let them go."

The god will go inside to report, and soon the Pagoda-Bearing Heavenly King and Nezha the Third Prince lead the heavenly soldiers to greet them.

After the two sides exchanged greetings, the Pagoda-Bearing Heavenly King told Erlang Shen about the victory and defeat here. Erlang Shen smiled and said, "I have come here to fight him. Gentlemen, set up a net for me. Don't cover the top, just tighten it around me. Let me fight. If I lose to him, you don't need to help me. I have my brothers to support me. If I win, you don't need to tie me up. I have my brothers to do it. I just ask the Pagoda-Bearing Heavenly King to use a magic mirror for me and stay in the air. I am afraid that he will be defeated and flee to other places. You must shine a light on me and don't let him go."

The Pagoda-Bearing Heavenly King agreed, and immediately ordered people to fly the magic mirror in the sky to cover the entire Flower-Fruit Mountain.

Afterwards, Erlang Shen led the Six Saints of Meishan and their own divine soldiers into the Flower-Fruit Mountain. Seeing the banner of the 'Great Sage Equaling Heaven' flying high, he could not help but laugh and said, "How can that monkey be worthy of the title of Great Sage Equaling Heaven?"

The Six Saints of Meishan said, "We will go and challenge them."

Soon, under the challenge of the Six Saints of Meishan, Sun Wukong flew out of the cave. He saw the divine general in front of him, who looked very impressive, so he asked, "Who are you, young general, and how dare you come here to challenge me?"

Erlang Shen sneered and said, "I am the nephew of the Jade Emperor, Erlang Xiansheng Zhenjun, and I have been ordered to come and capture you."

Sun Wukong laughed when he heard this and said, "I remember that the Jade Emperor's sister came down to earth to marry Yang Jun and gave birth to a boy. She used an axe to chop down Peach Mountain to save her mother. Was it you?"

Erlang Shen was furious when he heard this and said, "Stop being so rude, monkey. Take my sword."

After saying that, Erlang Shen raised his three-pointed, double-edged spear and chopped it down. Sun Wukong immediately raised his golden cudgel to catch it, and then chopped it back.

A great saint and a small saint started fighting like this. It was such a fierce battle!
