Chapter 49: The Jade Emperor of Lingxiao Palace appoints his generals to fight against the demons.

Ao Run bowed again, then stood up and held the hu tablet and said, "Your Majesty, I, Ao Run, report to you that now a great black demon has raised an army to rebel, causing great disturbances in the West Sea, killing immortal officials, occupying the Dragon Palace, and proclaiming himself king, causing unrest in the sea and suffering all living beings. I beg Your Majesty to have mercy on me and issue an order to punish the rebels. All living beings in the West Sea are grateful for Your Majesty's kindness. I, Ao Run, bow my head and weep in obeisance."

After saying this, Ao Run bowed to the ground again and kowtowed in tears.

The Jade Emperor said: "My dear minister, do not be sad. I will immediately issue an edict to suppress the Great Black Yaksha tribe."

After saying this, the Jade Emperor called out, "Where is the Emperor of the Divine Thunder Jade Palace?"

The next moment, above the immortals, the mighty and almighty Divine Thunder Jade Palace Chief Emperor, 'Nine Heavens Yingyuan Thunder Universal Transformation Heavenly Venerable', wearing a twelve-piece imperial robe, a twelve-tassel crown on his head, holding a white jade scepter in his hand, walked out of the immortals and bowed, saying, "I am here."

Lei Zu Tian Zun bowed and said, "Your Majesty, 'Nezha, the Great God of the Three Altars and Sea Assembly, the Supreme Minister of the Heavenly Department' is qualified for this task."

Upon hearing this, the Jade Emperor immediately issued an edict: "Nezha is appointed as the Demon-Subduing Marshal to lead the heavenly soldiers and generals to the lower world to suppress the demon tribe of the Great Dark Yaksha."

"I will obey your orders." Jiu Tian Ying Yuan Lei Sheng Pu Hua Tian Zun bowed and accepted the order, then returned to the immortal group.

Then the Jade Emperor asked again: "Where is Nezha?"

Among the immortals, Nezha the Third Prince strode out, holding a sceptre in his hand and bowing, saying, "I am here."

The Jade Emperor said: "After receiving the order, I will immediately dispatch troops to the lower world to eliminate the demons and stabilize the West Sea."

Nezha sang in a loud voice: "Your Majesty, Nezha obeys your order."

But soon, Nezha spoke again: "Your servant Nezha has something to report."

The Jade Emperor said, "Play it."

Nezha said, "Your Majesty, the Dark Yaksha tribe has occupied the Dragon Palace in the West Sea. This time we are going to the lower world to clear them out. The battlefield will be on the sea border. Therefore, I need to dispatch the Tianhe sailors to the lower world to suppress the demons. Your Majesty, please make your decision."

The Jade Emperor said, "Yes, where is Marshal Tianpeng?"

Zhu Lie quickly walked out of the immortal group and bowed, "I am here."

The Jade Emperor said, "I order you to lead 80,000 sailors from the Celestial River and temporarily place them under the command of the Demon-Subduing Marshal. You must accompany him to the lower world to fight against the demons and monsters. You must not make any mistakes."

Zhu Lie bowed and said, "I accept your order." Then he said, "Your Majesty, I have a report to make."

The Jade Emperor said, "Play it."

Zhu Lie said, "Your Majesty, I would like to nominate someone to serve as an advisor to the army and go to the West Sea to fight against the demons."

The Jade Emperor was slightly surprised when he heard this and asked, "Marshal Tianpeng, who do you want to recommend?"

Zhu Lie bowed and said, "The Lingtai Mountain God has great magical powers and is both wise and brave. I would like to recommend the Lingtai Mountain God to be my military advisor. Please grant my approval, Your Majesty." There was a solemn and dignified atmosphere in the Lingxiao Palace. When Zhu Lie spoke, the gods and immortals were still a little surprised. The Bodhisattva Mahasthamaprapta bowed and said, "I respectfully accept the command of the great celestial being."

All arrangements were neat and orderly. After the meeting was over, the Dragon King of the West Sea once again thanked the Jade Emperor for his mercy, and then left the Lingxiao Palace with Nezha and Zhu Lie.

The Bodhisattva Mahasthamaprapta also bid farewell to the Jade Emperor, left the Daluo world and returned to Lingshan.

But Nezha summoned the giant spirit, the four heavenly kings, the thirty-six generals of the heavenly Gang, the seventy-two generals of the earthly evil and other heavenly soldiers and generals. Later, the Tianpeng Marshal Zhu Lie also summoned 80,000 Tianhe navy to come and obey his orders.

Afterwards, Nezha led all the heavenly soldiers and generals, and 80,000 Tianhe navy out of the West Heaven Gate, and descended to the north of the First Heaven, outside the Taixuan Zhenfu.

Then Nezha entered Taixuan Zhenfu and met with Zifu Shaoyang Emperor, saying, "Your servant Nezha pays respects to Shaoyang Emperor. I am following the order of the Great Celestial Venerable to lead the heavenly soldiers and generals to the West Sea to suppress the demons. Now Marshal Tianpeng has presented to the Great Celestial Venerable to recommend the Lingtai Mountain God to serve as an advisor to the army. Please, Shaoyang Emperor, issue an order to order the Lingtai Mountain God to come here to join the army and go with us on the expedition."

Upon hearing the report, Emperor Shaoyang of Zifu immediately summoned Chengwulang and said, "Send an envoy to the lower world immediately to convey my order and summon the Lingtai Mountain God."

The official bowed and said, "I accept your order."

Zhao Qingsi, the messenger from Xiniu Hezhou of the Human World, came down from the border and met Zhuang Yan in the Danchiling Mountain Temple on Lingtai Mountain and read out the imperial edict.

Zhu Lie laughed, patted Zhuang Yan on the shoulder and said, "Brother Zhuang, there is no need to be polite. The numerous heavenly generals were awe-inspiring, displaying various dharma forms. Each of them was as mighty as a prison, dominating the universe and shocking the world.

Zhuang Yan's gaze swept across the heavenly soldiers and generals, and finally fell on the fiery red figure at the front of the formation of heavenly soldiers and generals, with divine power and might, and a powerful spirit to intimidate the world.
