Under the guidance of the monks in the temple, Mr. Zhong and his wife made offerings, fulfilled their vows, burned incense and paid respects. Afterwards, Mr. Zhong asked the monks, "Is Elder Guangde in the temple?"

The monk replied, "Please go to the side hall and wait for a while, the abbot will be here soon."

So Mr. Zhong and his wife were led by the monk to the side hall and sat down. Soon Elder Guangde came to the side hall.

Mr. Zhong and his wife immediately stood up and bowed, saying, "We are grateful to Elder Guangde for saving our son, and we have come to the temple to fulfill our vow."

Elder Guangde stepped forward and helped the couple up, saying, "Don't be polite, please take a seat."

Then the three of them sat down again. Mrs. Zhong smiled and said, "Venerable, your Dharma is miraculous. My son has recovered his consciousness recently. He is in perfect spirits. He no longer has convulsions and nightmares at night. He can talk to people normally. We found a marriage for him a few days ago. When my son saw the girl, he praised her."

Hearing what Mrs. Zhong said, Elder Guangde nodded and said, "So your son has been freed from the deer monster's enchantment. Congratulations."

Mr. Zhong then said, "All this is thanks to you, Elder. If it weren't for your mercy, he would have been killed by that witch by now."

Elder Guangde said, "He won't die. The deer demon has no karma and is not a vicious person. But when a human and a demon have sex, the human's essence and yang energy will naturally be absorbed by the demon's magic power. If this continues, your son's essence and yang energy will be exhausted and he will become a fool and stupid person. Even gods and Buddhas cannot save him."

Mr. and Mrs. Zhong nodded solemnly, and then Mrs. Zhong said, "As long as he marries that good girl, my husband and I will be relieved."

At this time, the novice monk came into the hall to report that the vegetarian meal was ready. Elder Guangde stood up and said to Mr. Zhong and his wife, "Dear donors, the vegetarian meal in the temple is ready. Please go and have your meal."

Mr. Zhong and his wife stood up and bowed to Elder Guangde. Elder Guangde put his hands together and chanted "Amitabha". Then Mr. Zhong and his wife followed the young monk to have their meal.

Elder Guangde gave some instructions to his disciples, then returned to his own monastery to continue sitting and chanting, cultivating his mind and practicing.

Time flies, and in the blink of an eye the sun sets and dusk arrives.

A gentle breeze blew a few Manjusri orchids outside Elder Guangde's abode. The flowers swayed in the wind, and the cassock on Elder Guangde also moved.

He stopped reciting the scripture halfway, then opened his eyes, stood up, walked forward and opened the door of the monastery.

A fiery figure appeared in the eyes of Elder Guangde. It was a woman wearing a flame-patterned robe, with long fluttering hair and a beautiful face.

The woman stood quietly in the courtyard, looking at Elder Guangde with a gaze full of power and oppression.

The woman looked at Elder Guangde and said, "Today is the last time we discuss the sutras. Are you ready, Elder?"

Elder Guangde sighed, walked out with a solemn expression, and said after entering the courtyard, "We are ready."

The woman nodded, pointed to the ground and said, "Sit down."

Then the two of them sat cross-legged on the ground. The woman didn't say much, and directly said to Elder Guangde: "Daoyou, please go first."

Elder Guangde pondered for a moment, and then took the lead in preaching.

What followed was a 'Buddhist Scripture Debate' that lasted for three hours, and the result was no different from the previous one. Elder Guangde, a high-ranking Buddhist monk in the Earthly Immortal Realm, was completely crushed by the woman in front of him in the debate on Buddhist teachings.

Elder Guangde seemed to have made up his mind. He stood up and said, "Daoyou, my Tianci Temple is willing to build a temple for you in Guangci Prefecture and transfer the incense offerings from the believers to you. Is that okay?"

"No." Fire Spirit Immortal said decisively: "This Tianci Temple is a thousand-year-old temple with a prosperous incense and long-lasting luck. I want this Tianci Temple."

Elder Guangde said: "Daoyou is a spirit fire between heaven and earth that turned into a spirit, and then he practiced diligently and became a terrestrial immortal, but he does not have the fruit position of my Buddhist sect, so I cannot follow your words."

Fire Spirit Immortal raised his eyebrows and said, "So, you, the Buddhist sect, want to shirk your debt?"

"It's not that we are refusing to pay our debts, but this action is against the will of heaven," said Elder Guangde.

The Fire Spirit Immortal said: "If that's the case, then we can only fight. You are an earthly immortal, and I am also an earthly immortal, so don't accuse me of bullying you."

The Fire Spirit Immortal looked at all the monks in the hall and said, "From today on, all the Buddha, Bodhisattva, Arhat, Vajra, and Kalayana images in the Tianci Temple and the Buddhist temples and monasteries in Guangci Prefecture will be torn down and removed, and replaced with my Fire Spirit Immortal image. From now on, all the incense in Guangci Prefecture will be enjoyed by me, the Fire Spirit Immortal."

At this point, the Fire Spirit Immortal's eyes became stern, and he swept his gaze over the monks in the hall, whose faces changed drastically, and said, "If you dare not obey, I will kill all the monks in Guangci Palace and destroy all the altars and temples!"

"Because of this result, all the sins are not my fault, but will be blamed on all the monks!" said the Fire Spirit Immortal sternly.
