Chapter 66: 65: Magic Potion? Nothing special! [Update 5]
Chapter 66: 65: Magic Potion? Nothing special! [Fifth update]
Daphne's happiness is gone.
The famous scene where Snape scolds latecomers is also gone.
Ian's mood was visibly depressed.
"What's wrong with you?" Aurora asked her companion. Ian sighed heavily and watched Snape walk to the podium with dim eyes.
"I've lost all joy from today."
He had specially brought a gift for Daphne Greengrass, but he didn't expect that the other party was still struggling to recover on the first floor. Or perhaps the smart pure-blood wizard lady had predicted his prediction?
"Oh, I see. You were kissed by a Dementor." Aurora calmly sorted out her textbooks. Her brand new textbooks were filled with many details of her notes.
Ian noticed this as he turned his head.
"I let you buy the deluxe edition!"
He saw the notes that were obviously written by the Saints' Potion Master and exclaimed in amazement.
"Copy into pairs!"
Aurora chanted a spell on her textbook, and then an identical textbook was copied out, and her delicate little hand pushed it towards Ian.
"It's just enough to last for one class. I will continue to share with you in the next Potions class." Aurora's cold voice sounded like abacus beads.
“I’m not envious at all.”
Ian couldn't wait to open the textbook and start reading the notes. Tomorrow night, he would be able to enter the Twilight Zone again. He didn't know how teacher Mara's research on the new era potion was going.
"Very good. It seems that all of you here understand the importance of punctuality, which is especially critical in the process of brewing potions." Snape at the podium had already started the class.
"Potion preparation is a precise and rigorous craft. Some people may think it is not magic. In fact, few people can appreciate the beauty of the simmering crucible with white smoke and real fragrance. Even fewer people can truly feel the magic contained in the liquid flowing into people's blood vessels."
Snape began to scan all the young wizards present with his sinister eyes.
He paused for a moment.
Ian was whispering with his friends below.
"He's about to start bragging."
The words fell.
as predicted.
"I can teach you how to improve your reputation, create glory, and even..." At this point, Snape deliberately paused for a moment before speaking with emphasis.
"Stop the death!"
In the end, Ian saw a famous scene.
There was light in his eyes again.
"Actually, Snape can't do it. He copied all his opening remarks. He's about to call us idiots and fools." Ian's words stunned the girl next to him.
Then, as Ian said.
"I can teach you a lot, but the prerequisite is that you are not the kind of fools and idiots I often meet." Snape completed the show-off of the year with precise timing.
Since Ian and Aurora were sitting at the back, Snape couldn't hear what the two were whispering about. He just saw Ian talking to little Grindelwald.
He chose to ignore it.
"How do you know? Can you predict the future?" Aurora widened her eyes in disbelief, her bright eyes filled with surprise.
"what?"
Ian was stunned for a moment.
"What's it called?"
He noticed the key element.
"Our family has this talent, the ability to see things in the future. In fact, I saw that scene just now when I entered the classroom." Aurora pointed to her eyes without reservation.
"And your grandfather, too?"
Ian was stunned for a moment. He didn't know much about the situation of Grindelwald's family. Before he traveled through time, it was said that a movie about Grindelwald was about to be released.
"Far better than me."
Aurora answered solemnly.
"Um..." Ian didn't feel any strange emotions. He hesitated for a moment before asking, "Excuse me, but did he see his own ending?"
Faced with this inquiry.
Aurora's expression did not change. "His saints still believe that the past and present situation are just a choice made by my grandfather for the greater good."
The German girl did not respond directly.
but.
"I understand... the power of faith is truly terrifying."
Ian smacked his lips.
"Who says it isn't?"
Aurora nodded along.
"Now, work in pairs to make boil potion. I want to remind you to be careful when operating, if you don't want to accompany Miss Daphne."
Snape had finished explaining the contents of the textbook at this time and was ready to let the young wizards practice. He glanced at Ian and Aurora who had been whispering.
immediately.
He looked towards the Slytherin area expressionlessly.
"Michael Jordan, go back to your own college." There has to be a place to vent the anger in one's heart, and Snape chose the little black guy who had been staying in the Slytherin area.
It is impossible to ignore the two limited skins standing there together.
"what?"
Michael was naturally reluctant. He looked at the Ravenclaw area, or to be exact, where Ian was, and his face was full of confusion as to why this was happening.
“I don’t want to say it a second time.”
Snape's voice was stern.
"Okay, Professor."
Michael's neck shrank, and he could only pick up his things and ran to the corner dejectedly - William was still huddled in the corner alone when class started.
The course continues.
"Hurry up and grab the materials, otherwise they will all be taken away by them." Ian took out his golden crucible, fiddled with it, and spoke to Aurora.
"Oh well."
Aurora quickly stood up and ran to her locker.
Everyone is selecting materials.
Snape did not reprimand anyone, nor did he deduct points. He just walked back and forth in the classroom, and finally stopped in front of Ian who was pretending to build a cauldron.
Aurora had already taken the materials back by now, and she moved quickly because one of the young wizards from Slytherin directly gave her the herbs he had selected.
"Mr. Prince, why haven't you started making it?" Snape looked at Aurora sharpening the snake's fangs. He asked Ian coldly, who had not set up the crucible for a long time.
"Professor, we are working together."
Ian responded seriously.
"..."
Snape glanced at the busy Aurora speechlessly.
He walked away with gritted teeth.
but.
His eyes were always glancing at Ian and Aurora, so Snape saw a scene that made him grit his teeth and wanted to kick Ian out on the spot.
Aurora sharpened her snake fangs.
Ian was lighting the fire.
Aurora took care of the horned slug.
Ian was lighting the fire.
Aurora put in the porcupine quills and began stirring vigorously.
Ian was lighting the fire.
Five turns later, the potion was finished... and Ian put out the fire.
