Chapter 3 Encountering another scumbag
Gu Yan looked up at Jiang Yuning, who was standing at the door, and made direct eye contact with her.

In those few seconds, Jiang Yuning concluded that Gu Yan must have come here with ill intentions.

At this moment, the design director seemed unaware of the awkwardness between them, and he waved his hand at Jiang Yuning.

"What are you doing standing at the door, Xiao Jiang? Come in quickly."

Jiang Yuning walked into the office and called out softly, "Director."

The design director introduced directly: "Xiao Jiang, this is Gu Yan, the design director of Shijiu Group. He came here today to design a bracelet and necklace for his girlfriend. After looking at so many designs, he chose you."

Jiang Yuning lowered her eyes and secretly curled her lips, thinking that it was probably not a choice, but a premeditated plan.

"You're two-timing, dating two girlfriends at the same time. Slapping you is the least I can do. If your current girlfriend knew what you were doing, what do you think she would do?"

Gu Yan was exceptionally confident in himself, saying, "To be honest, Jiu Jiu won't believe you."

Jiang Yuning smiled slightly and said, "I naturally have my own methods. Gu Yan, I advise you not to go too far."

Gu Yan crossed his legs and tossed the documents in his hand onto the table.

“I’m going too far? Jiang Yuning, when your director comes back, I’m going to make sure he sees what you’re really like. You don’t respect your clients, you’re verbally abusive, and you’re trying to kick them out.”

"If Director Wang knew what you had done, do you think you could still stay at this company?"

Jiang Yuning finally witnessed another side of Gu Yan.

She sneered, "Gu Yan, even a rabbit will bite when cornered. Don't think I have no evidence. I have evidence that you were seeing me behind your girlfriend's back. You were two-timing me."

That's all for today. I don't want to have anything to do with you anymore.

Jiang Yuning stood up, but before she could take a few steps, the design director rushed back from outside.

He saw Jiang Yuning standing in front of the sofa, while Gu Yan was sitting on the sofa, and the atmosphere between them seemed to be not good.

Director Wang, unaware of what had happened, made a joke out of the blue, "Director Gu, has this been settled?"

Gu Yan spoke first: "Director Wang, the people under you have terrible tempers and don't respect me at all."

Director Wang chuckled, "Director Gu, are you talking nonsense? Xiao Jiang is the best-tempered employee in our design department. If you're asking who has a bad temper, I don't believe Xiao Jiang does."

Jiang Yuning pursed her lips. She had been working at this company for over three years, always under Director Wang. To be honest, she was somewhat touched that Director Wang had risked offending a client to speak up for her from her perspective.

Jiang Yuning prefers to be direct. "Director, I slapped him yesterday, and he holds a grudge against me. He came here today to cause trouble. It's that simple. If you don't believe me, there are security cameras in the office. You can check them."

Gu Yan's face was gloomy, as if a storm was about to break out. He didn't want to recall the scenes, but Jiang Yuning always liked to bring up the past.

Jiang Yuning pursed her lips and opened the email. As she expected, her name was not on the list.

She lowered her head and organized the client's information in her hands.

After reading the email, Meng Shuyu glanced subconsciously in Jiang Yuning's direction before turning back to focus on her work.

Time flies, and soon it was time to leave work.

Jiang Yuning packed her things and was about to walk out the door when a hand grabbed her arm from behind.

Meng Shuyu leaned close to Jiang Yuning's ear and whispered, "Yuning, come on, your sister will take you to a great place."
