She knew perfectly well that he must have told Fu Xicheng.

She wasn't angry; instead, she smiled and agreed, "Okay, okay, whatever you say."

Jiang Yuning hung up the phone, a smile playing on her lips, in a great mood. "It was my boyfriend calling. He's jealous again."

Meng Tingchuan curled his lips, mocking mercilessly, "His jealousy is much greater than that of the average man."

Fu Xicheng's jealousy is unmatched by most people; once he gets jealous, he becomes incredibly clingy.

Jiang Yuning had a deep understanding of this, and she said proudly, "Of course, after all, he had been single for more than 20 years and no one wanted him, and I finally picked him up."

Meng Tingchuan felt that Jiang Yuning was absolutely right; Fu Xicheng was afraid that another man would steal his girlfriend away.

Not long after, Jiang Yuning boarded a flight to Haicheng. When they arrived in Haicheng, she and Meng Tingchuan got off the plane one after the other.

The sky was dark, with only a crescent moon hanging in the starry sky.

Meng Tingchuan stopped and called out to Jiang Yuning, "Yuning, my assistant is waiting for me at the airport entrance. Why don't I give you a ride?"

Jiang Yuning was worried about trouble. She knew that her neighborhood and Meng Tingchuan's residence were in opposite directions, one to the east and the other to the west, and were quite far apart.

She politely declined, saying, "Brother Meng, I'll take a taxi home myself."

“Ningning, you are so thoughtful. Mr. Fu is sick, and you are taking care of him personally.”

Jiang Yuning smiled slowly. Of course she had to do it herself. He had aggravated his injuries while saving her, and she would not be able to live with herself if she did not take care of him.

There were just some things she couldn't tell Meng Shuyu.

The fewer people who know about Fu Xicheng's injury, the better.

"He's almost fully recovered, so I came back early."

Meng Shuyu began to daydream, "If I get sick in the future, I hope I can have a thoughtful boyfriend like you to take care of me."

Jiang Yuning would definitely not ignore Meng Shuyu's illness.
