Chapter 129 She called the police
Gu Xinghe lowered her head and wiped away her tears, perfectly portraying the image of a victim.

She bowed at a 90-degree angle towards Jiang Yuning, "Yuning, it was my fault, I was wrong. Please don't let Mr. Fu cause me any more trouble."

He would never cause trouble for a woman; he would send her straight to hell.

Fu Xicheng walked over, grabbed Gu Xinghe by the hair, and pulled her up from the ground.

His eyes were dark and unfathomable. "If I'm bullying you, this is how I'm bullying you. Don't accuse me of things I didn't do."

"Besides, I slapped you, which is just a lesson. At most, I'll pay you some medical expenses. If you want to sue me, I can tell you with 100% certainty that you will not win."

"If you dare to cause trouble for Ningning again, don't blame me for kicking you out of Haicheng, or even out of the entire design industry. I'm sure I can do that."

Fu Xicheng released his hand and gracefully pulled some wet wipes from Jiang Yuning's table, slowly wiping his hands.

His actions made it seem as if he wasn't the one who had just slapped Gu Xinghe and taught her a lesson.

After wiping his hands, Fu Xicheng glanced around and found that everyone was watching the commotion from their desks, and no one was offering to help.

Gu Xinghe collapsed to the ground, covered her face, and burst into tears.

Fu Xicheng hated hearing this kind of crying. His eyes were cold, and he threatened, "If you cry again, get out of here. Don't you know that crying here will affect your colleagues?"

Gu Xinghe was so frightened by Fu Xicheng's sinister gaze that she dared not make a sound.

The crying stopped, and Fu Xicheng didn't linger there. Instead, he walked out of the design department.

He had just reached the door when he ran into Assistant Lin and the design director.

Fu Xicheng's sharp gaze swept over the design department director before finally settling on Assistant Lin.

Assistant Lin said, "The president just arrived at his office."

Fu Xicheng nodded and took the private elevator directly to Lu Zhiqian's office.

He walked in without even knocking. He was cautious and rarely left any evidence against him.

“Lu Zhiqian, I just slapped one of your design department employees.”

A hint of surprise flashed in Lu Zhiqian's eyes. For Fu Xicheng to take action personally, that person must have done something unforgivable.

"What did she do to offend you this time?"

"You've accused me of bullying her for no reason. Well, I really did bully her today. Lu Zhiqian, can I use your computer for a bit?"

Lu Zhiqian stood up and made room for Fu Xicheng. Standing next to him, he noticed that Fu Xicheng was reviewing the design department's surveillance footage.

He deleted a small section of the surveillance footage, and then filled it back in with some details.

Lu Zhiqian stroked his chin and reminded him at the opportune moment, "You deleted the surveillance footage from my computer, but don't forget about the surveillance footage in the monitoring room."

Fu Xicheng turned off the surveillance camera and calmly stood up.

"This can be done entirely on your phone."

Lu Zhiqian gave him a look that said, "Figure it out yourself," and then he reopened his office page on the computer.

"Since you can operate it on your phone, why did you just use my computer?" Fu Xicheng spoke the truth: "A phone is nowhere near as convenient as a computer."

He strolled leisurely through Lu Zhiqian's office, stopping in front of a wall of honor.

"Lu Zhiqian, I've noticed that there are quite a few scheming women in your company."

"Sigh, my Ningning has suffered some grievances working for you. It took me all day yesterday to coax her back to health."

Lu Zhiqian twirled the pen in his hand and jokingly remarked, "It took you a whole day to coax him back. Looks like you're not so good at coaxing people after all."

At that moment, Assistant Lin knocked on the door and came in.

He glanced at Fu Xicheng sitting on the sofa out of the corner of his eye.

He bowed his head and reported what had just happened, "President, Mr. Fu just slapped Designer Gu from the design department. Designer Gu has already called the police, and they will be here soon."

Fu Xicheng pondered for a moment and said, "It seems I won't be able to leave anytime soon. Gu Xinghe is too scheming. Are you sure you want to keep someone like her in the company?"

Lu Zhiqian waved his hand, "I know about this."

Fu Xicheng's phone rang, and seeing that the caller ID showed Jiang Yuning, he answered it immediately.
