Chapter 605 Storm King: Surely the Silent King couldn't have aided the enemy?

Chapter 605 Storm King: Surely the Silent King couldn't have aided the enemy?

The flagship of Storm King Imhotep, once destroyed by High Marshal Helblechett of the Black Templars and later rebuilt by Imhotep's tomb technology, is the Inevitable Conqueror.

Imotek's will rekindled, and the living metal was gradually reconstructing his body.

As a Dharma Emperor, Imhotep would not die easily. His resurrection protocol was also more advanced than that of most Dharma Emperors, allowing his body to regenerate rapidly.
In the blink of an eye, Imotek's body was mostly restored, and his logical mind was reshaped, making his thinking quick, rigorous, and logical again.

Imotek didn't feel much anger about his defeat.
Too many unexpected and illogical things have just happened.
Imhotep was actually not good at fighting, even back when he was a member of the Fearless Ones. He even suffered from rheumatism, a serious ailment that hampered his combat abilities.

He relies more on information gathering and logical analysis to predict his opponent's actions, induce their attacks, and manipulate their behavior to defeat them.
This leads to a problem: when facing an enemy he hasn't gathered enough information about upon first meeting, an illogical enemy, or a completely unreasonable situation, Imhotep often finds himself struggling to cope.

One of the main reasons Imhotep was satisfied with his mechanical body was that, thanks to the self-healing ability of the living metal, he could fight his enemies almost indefinitely, constantly gathering information in the process, and ultimately defeat them.

But the enemy they encountered this time
A series of data flashed before Imhotep's eyes, ultimately confirming that the tall, purple-gold figure was none other than the Primarch, Vorgrim, as humans called him.

But according to human records, this Primarch had already betrayed the Void God in the High Heavens, so why did he reappear in the human army?

Imhotep repeatedly watched the footage, observing "Forgrim's" every move, and compared it with the footage he had previously collected of Guilliman, Sanguis, and the Primarch of the Mysterious Hood. He finally noticed some differences.
"Some kind of cloning technology? Humans do have some achievements in biotechnology."

This was something Imhotep had to admit. He had also studied the human empire's biotechnology in order to understand the enemy. To put it simply, the more Imhotep looked at it, the more he felt that their genetic technology was simply some kind of alchemy, some kind of feudal superstition, capable of achieving some completely illogical effects.

This is still within Imhotep's logical understanding.

What truly baffled Imotek was that inexplicable teleportation technology.
Imhotep didn't know much about spacetime and subspace technology. He could only be certain that it wasn't teleportation through subspace, nor through a necromantic pocket dimension. Imhotep was completely baffled by the technology involved and couldn't grasp any of its principles.
Even after Imotek passed these images on to the tomb engineers who served him, the tomb engineers were unable to provide any valuable information.

Imotek had a strange feeling.

I feel like a primitive man who has just learned to make stone tools, trying to understand how a chip works.

Humans actually possess this level of technology?

Imotek felt a sense of unease.
In his logical assessment, the danger posed by humanity was elevated to another level.

Imotek looked at the decree that the Silent King had just issued in the name of the Triune Council.

The Silent King, in the name of the Council of the Three Saints, ordered Imotek to attack Allakel.

This caused Imotek's pale green eyes to flicker a few times.

He has not publicly opposed the Triune Council, and in fact, Imhotep does not intend to do so.
He only intended to target the Silent King and the two saints he had chosen, not the Triad Council system itself, and strictly adhered to the rituals of the Necromancer's War.
This was certainly not because Imhotep was honest, but because Imhotep understood that his strength was insufficient to defeat the Silent King in an unlimited war.
Only by confining the Silent King within the framework of war etiquette and engaging the Storm King in a noble war game can the Storm King have a chance of winning.

More importantly, this would help Storm King gain a political advantage and win over other patriarchs.

All of Storm King's war campaigns were essentially aimed at supporting his political agenda.
"Twenty-two dignitaries have publicly expressed their support for Allah Kael?"

Storm King was slightly taken aback, not expecting that Anlakel had gathered the support of more than twenty Dharma Emperors so quickly, more than the number of Dharma Emperors who supported Storm King.
This is a considerable force within the necromancer community, and these Dharma Emperors were once loyal to or allied with the Silent King.
How exactly did Allah Kael manage to do that? Surely the Silent King couldn't have just forced these Dharma Emperors to Allah Kael's side for nothing?
Even the Nihirak dynasty, which had always maintained neutrality and served only the pursuit of wealth, sided with Allahkel.
Even with Tarasim around, Allah's wealth could never surpass that of the Silent King.
Surely it couldn't be that the Silent King withheld the final payment from the Nihirak dynasty?

Imotek quickly realized the risks.

Anlakel is different from the Silent King.

The Silent King was politically riddled with problems. Whether it was the sin of biological conversion or his forced promotion of the French Emperor, a member of his own vassal dynasty, to the Council of the Three Saints after his return, these actions were extremely fatal in politics. Even the French Emperor, who was most loyal to the Silent King, could not refute Imhotep's accusations against him.

But Anlakel was different. This traveler was politically perfect. He abandoned his world and the status of a hegemon, sailing among the stars and dedicating himself for a long time to protecting the property and prestige of the Necromancer dynasty. Many dynasties had benefited from Anlakel's favors. For the vast majority of dynasties, accepting Anlakel as the new ruler of the Necromancer was not unacceptable.

Therefore, if Alla'rakir successfully defeats the Silent King, Imhotep's political maneuvering will be ineffective, and he will have to rely on a direct war for victory, which has a very slim chance of success.
Conversely, if the Silent King had independently defeated Allahkel and suppressed Allahkel's rebellion, many of the wavering Dharma Emperors would likely have completely sided with the Silent King, while those who were initially eager to try would have chosen to back down out of fear of him.
The only way to break this deadlock is for Imotek to help the Silent King suppress Allakel.
In this way, the credit would belong to Imhotep, and it would also be Imhotep who suppressed Allahkel, allowing Imhotep to increase his political capital.
"Is this your asking price, King of Silence!"

Imotek felt a surge of irritation.
Logically speaking, obeying the Silent King's orders to attack Anlakel was Imhotep's best option.

But Imotec always had a feeling that he was being manipulated and controlled by the Silent King.
That shameless tyrant was only so shrewd when it came to political infighting, suppressing and controlling his own people.

A map of the Neferim sector appeared before Imotek's eyes, marking the Volian-Vash system.

Just one look at Imotek was enough to understand why the Silent King had sent him to fight against Allakel.

This location is too clever; it's situated right between the Silent King's territory and the human realm.

Allah's conquest here is like a feast held at the entrance to a wild beast's den.
If there were no trap, Imotek wouldn't believe it. But how could Allakel use himself as bait?
Did that so-called Saint Doraemon abandon him?

No, it's impossible.
Aside from Anlakel, the only other beings who could act as Doraemon's representative among the undead are the Silent King and the Storm King.

Needless to say, the Silent King has already clearly rejected Saint Doraemon.
The Storm King was not interested in souls; he only cared about the order he wanted to create and was unwilling to join anyone else's order.
Doraemon only has Anlakel; he can't abandon him. But letting Anlakel get so close to the Silent King is too risky.

Unless He accurately predicted that the Silent King would not intervene.
"Good! I was their target from the very beginning! They knew the Silent King would send me."

Storm King is someone who excels at using logical reasoning to command the battlefield.

But at this very moment, the logic he was so proud of was being used against him by the two enemy commanders.

This made Storm King feel like he was just a pawn being manipulated repeatedly in their hands, bouncing back and forth on the board.
Isn't there a place where he can freely express himself? Isn't there a place where he can be a chess player?
Storm King stared intently at the map of the Neferim Sector, searching back and forth for an opportunity to make his mark.

His gaze darted back and forth between his own territory and the Volian Vash system, repeating this several times in succession.
Finally, on the twenty-second attempt, the Storm King's gaze stopped.
He gently pointed his newly repaired finger to his location on the star map.

That's a small area outside the Neferim sector, roughly one-eighth of the ring that encircles the Neferim sector.

Moving inward from this ring, into the Neferim Sector, lies the golden warp storm summoned by humanity.

Storm King's fingers lightly traced the ring-shaped storm. He chose to occupy this location because the adjacent warp storm region was where the storm was thinnest.

That area is relatively less affected by the warp, making it a relatively easy entry point into the Neferim Sector.
Storm King's finger continued to slide, traversing the entire Neferim sector, pointing towards the Volian Vash system.

A straight line was drawn between Storm King's location and the Volian Vash system.
This straight line passes right through the core of the Neferim Sector.

There exists a galaxy at that location.
"The Sindu Galaxy, is there something here?" Storm King's logical mind raced. He didn't believe it was a coincidence; there must be some deeper meaning behind it.
His gaze shifted slightly, and he finally activated the communication with the Tri-Saint Council.

"I am willing to fight against Allah Keir for you."

Looking at the Silent King on the communicator, Imhotep stared at him and said:
“But you can’t ask me to circle the entire Exorcism Dead Zone to reach the Volian Vash system. That’s too difficult, and my troops would be exhausted on the way.”

“I ask that you cooperate with me to break through a passage between our territories, and then I will use your territory as a route to cross the entire star sector to reach the Volian Vash system.”
