Ice and Fire: Reign of the Dragon.

Chapter 405: Hair Color Returns to Its True Color
In the open-air banquet hall of Dragon's Nest, candlelight flickered on silver candlesticks, bringing the ancient Valyrian conquest scenes in the murals to life. The long tables were covered with brocade embroidered with silver dragon bay leaves from the wine port, and the dragon patterns woven with silver thread seemed to be swimming in the candlelight. The servants walked through the table carrying jeweled trays, and every step made the wine in the crystal glasses ripple.
The delicacies on the long table are enough to make any lord gasp. The thinly sliced, melt-in-your-mouth White Harbor whale blubber jelly served with sour berry sauce, and the Arbor Island oysters drizzled with lemon juice and chopped tarragon, served on a dragon head plate carved out of crushed ice, make the table chilly. The feathers are re-inserted, the tail feathers are gilded, and the abdomen is filled with truffle wild rice. The grilled bison ribs are slow-cooked with dark beer and honey for three days, and the meat is tender. The baked lobster from Shipbreaker Bay is stuffed with crab meat and is a giant crab pie that can accommodate several people. The roasted wild duck is stuffed with Dornish red peppers and the crispy skin is brushed with rose honey. Roasted squab, fish belly stuffed with crab meat and vanilla, and trout rolls wrapped in crispy golden bacon are the main dishes of the banquet. Special desserts are also arranged on the tables of young boys and girls. The bright red flesh is sprinkled with crushed diamond candy. The pitaya tart that symbolizes dragon scales is a unique delicacy in Dragon's Nest. Aegon II, Daeron I, and Daeron II were all keen on this dessert when they were young - this dessert had not yet been developed during the time of Jacaerys. The "Holy King" was keen on another dessert on the table - caramel dragon egg soufflés with lava-like syrup that would flow out when the caramel shell was gently tapped with a silver spoon.
"I bet you ten gold dragons that Cerelis will throw Ceneol into the fountain!" Luciris Vareses shouted, his brown hair still stained with crab pie crust. He had just used a dagger to pick open a baked lobster from Shipwreck Cove, and the lobster shells piled up into a small tower on the plate.
Maggie flicked the candied lemon slice at his forehead. "Then you'd better prepare your purse first. Haha, Joniel rides Sundrink much more steadily than you ride Moondance!" Her brown hair changed to a darker color, now braided into four braids in the style of the North, with a small silver wolf head bell tied to the end of her hair.
"Stable?" Lusiris grinned, "Who was the one who was so frightened by a dive from the Sun Breed last month that he hugged the dragon's neck and screamed?"
Jonniel was busy with a Dornish pepper stuffed duck. He looked up from his mouth with hot sauce on his lips. "At least I wasn't thrown into the stable by Moon Dancer's tail like someone else."
Senelor slowly cut the dragon's breath caramel pudding. Under the sweet caramel was a pepper that was enough to make people cry. "Have you guys quarreled enough? We will have a dragon riding competition later. The loser will be responsible for cleaning up the dragon's poop."
Adele sipped the laurel honey wine gracefully, and suddenly flicked a candied cherry accurately into Luthris's glass. "I raise the bet! The loser will have to wear women's clothes to go to Tidehead to see my father, and then take a boat to King's Landing to see my uncle."
Aslan was trying to cut a piece of the honey ham with his dagger, but the whole ham slipped off the plate and was caught by Luthris with his quick eyes and hands. "Thanks, brother!" He laughed and took a bite, and the oil dripped down his chin onto the laurel leaf embroidered on his collar.
Maggie rolled her eyes. “You little brats have amazing table manners.”
"It's better than my wild cat niece," Adele laughed. "Someone saw you stealing cream in the kitchen yesterday, like a wild cat."
Jonnell suddenly raised his glass and said, "Cheers to the Wildcats!"
The children clinked their glasses with laughter, and the crisp sound of the crystal glasses colliding was drowned out by the sound of the musician's harp.
On the podium in the banquet hall, Igor was whispering with Sebastian.
"They are better than we were back then," Sebastian chuckled, his fingertips running over the edge of the wine glass, "At least we don't have the guts to bet with women's clothing."
"Because my sister will really use her sword to force us to fulfill our promise." Igor said with a wry smile, "She will even cheat just to see us dress up as women. Even if you are already riding on Vasolial, you can't escape."
The two men looked at each other and drank a glass.
At the climax of the banquet, three giant dragons descended upon summons.
Moon Dancer was the first to fly over the banquet sky, and its dazzling scales scattered the glass lights into starlight. Lusris jumped onto the long table and raised the wine glass high. The wine splashed into an arc, and the airflow raised by the dragon wings blew it into wine mist.
Cerelis crouched beside the fountain, her crimson body like a piece of lava that had burned out of heat. Seneoer stroked her nose lightly, and a satisfied snort rolled out of the dragon's throat, scaring the servants to knock over the whole plate of rose honey pigeon. The most shocking thing was the day-the black dragon landed directly in front of the dessert tower, and its claws pierced through the huge cake. Jonniel laughed and picked up a piece of caramel dragon egg cake covered with dragon saliva, and stuffed it into his mouth amid Maggie's disgusted scream.
“I’m a dirty wildcat now, too, sis.” He grinned, syrup still stuck between his teeth.
The noise in the banquet hall gradually died down. The servants removed the leftovers and replaced them with seven silver-inlaid mirrors, each of which was polished to be as clear as water. The candlelight reflected countless double images in the mirrors, as if thousands of children were staring at themselves at the same time.
Igor stood in the middle, smiling at the children. He raised his hand to signal, and the maids came forward with gilded basins of water, in which laurel leaves and lemon slices floated, giving off a refreshing fragrance.
"It's been six years." His voice was low and gentle. "You have proved your determination and love for your family with your brown hair. Now, the oath is fulfilled. It's time to fulfill the last item of the oath."
Maggie was the first to come forward. The maid used rose water mixed with secret medicine and pearl powder to wash away the last trace of pigment in her hair. Her silver hair was like moonlight pouring down, with a soft glow in the candlelight. She blinked at the mirror, turned around and raised her chin to Joniel:
"Look carefully, brother, my Silver Moon is back."
Joniel laughed and ruffled her hair. "Yeah, finally I don't have to listen to you complaining about hair dye stinking like horse manure."
After washing, Lusiris's silver-gold hair regained its sunshine-like brilliance. He looked left and right in the mirror and suddenly lamented: "My beauty has finally seen the light of day! Senai'ol, tell me quickly, am I more dazzling than the pure gold Father in the Cathedral of Saint Jacaris?"
Seneoer was too lazy to pay attention to him, and just looked down at the maid combing his platinum curly hair. His eyes occasionally drifted to the window, where Cerelis was squatting by the fountain, her dragon eyes reflecting the lights in the hall.
Adele's long, bright silver hair was braided into an intricate braid by her maid, and decorated with tiny pearls. She gently stroked the ends of her hair and whispered, "Auntie will be happy... She said this color is something that men, women, old people and children will like."
The girl gave a sly smile.
"silver."
When the dark brown curly hair of the last child, Aslan Varese, was washed, Adele suddenly took out the red silk ribbon that had been prepared long ago from her sleeve. It had wolf and dragon patterns intertwined and silver bells on both ends. She stood on tiptoe to tie it for Joniel, and the bells made a clear sound as she moved.
"We are both dead now," she said softly, "but you have to keep this to commemorate our six years together."
Lusiris covered his chest exaggeratedly: "Gods, this is even more disgusting than a chivalric novel! But he suddenly untied his gold belt from his waist and rudely stuffed it into Joniel's hand, "Wear it, otherwise your shabby belt will not be worthy of Adele's beautiful handicraft."
Maggie rolled her eyes, but silently hung a Wormithor scale pendant with a direwolf fang around Jonniel's neck.
Three young dragons simultaneously spewed flames into the sky, and the flames intertwined into a huge laurel crown in the night sky, with silver leaves falling like rain.
