Chapter 6 Maggot Eyes
"Maggot Eyes."

In the cave of the gladiator's residence, Onomamus stood by the iron window, looking outside, and said this word to Qin Xia.

"That drone-like sphere is called the Maggot Eye." Qin Xia nodded.

Ono also nodded.

The Maggot's Eye, that's the name the gladiators gave to the sphere.

Although they didn't know what the host behind the sphere looked like, the gladiators all thought he was a maggot without eggs, so they called the drone controlled by the host the Maggot Eye.

"Angron." Ono frowned. "That child, he seems to be a very sensitive person... He must be terrified."

Qin Xia remained silent, staring at Angron.

After the host gave the original body a name, the fight was over.

The Maggot Eye turned, and the tone of the host controlling it suddenly calmed down.

"Well, you can go to your gladiator slave kennel now."

"Leave some time for the cleanup team, okay?"

The beam of light enveloping Angron changed direction and shot towards a huge gate leading to the gladiators' residence.

Ono said in a deep voice: "They cheered for our victory, but that was only because we were slaves who posed no threat to the spectators. Even if these spectators went crazy for us, we still couldn't change our situation."

Hearing this sensible remark, Qin Xia turned around and looked at Ono in surprise.

The man looked big and strong, like a bear, but he was very gentle and his words made sense.

This obviously has nothing to do with his age of over 50.

"Damn slave owner." Ono stopped observing the situation in the arena, turned around and left, not knowing what to do.

Qin Xia continued to look at Angron.

The corrosive liquid had faded, and Angron jumped down from the tower, looking around, searching for a way to escape.

There is only one Maggot Eye in the battle area, and this drone does not seem to have any attack capabilities.

There was no barrier between the battle area and the audience seats, so it looked like anyone with good athletic ability could run across.

At least from Angron's perspective, there was no obstruction between the battle area and the audience seats.

Angron, overwhelmed by the overwhelming emotions, did not notice the humming transparent energy barrier between the audience seats and the battle area.

Angron was planning to run away, back to those high mountains, back to those mountains that were like heaven compared to the Colosseum even though they left him with two bad memories.

But just when Angron was about to do this...

The massive gate leading to the gladiators' quarters rose.

Heavy footsteps were heard from the dark, wide corridor.

That was the sound of steel colliding with steel.

Pairs of scarlet eyes flashed evilly in the darkness of the corridor.

Angron thought it was some monster; he had encountered similar beasts high up in the mountains.

But when the owners of those pairs of scarlet eyes walked out of the darkness, Angron was stunned.

They were not wild beasts, but robots arranged in neat rows and moving in unison.

The robots, about four meters tall and numerous in number, were armed with enlarged versions of the electric batons used by slave-hunting teams.

"It seems that our Angron wants to compete with these security robots?!"

The Maggot Eye flew down and landed between Angron and the iron men known as the Security Omnics.

Cheers of excitement.

But then the host's voice turned cold and indifferent. "Hurry up."

"Or I'll let these omnics beat your ass to pieces."

Angron lowered his head and walked towards the gladiator's quarters, stepping into the dark corridor.

There were scarlet eyes on both sides of the road.

Angron didn't know how many security robots he passed by, and he was secretly counting their number.

It was not until he came to a fork in the corridor that he gave up his futile calculations.

At this fork in the road, which looked like a place used to block the passage for slaves to escape from their residences and to quickly deploy troops to suppress the slaves, security robots were everywhere.

Tireless iron patrols patrol the corridors where no one can hide, and every three steps there is a heavy weapon hanging from the ceiling aiming at any creature that walks through.

Angron silently followed the Maggot Eye's lead to where he should go.

"This damn place is really magical." Qin Xia retracted his gaze, sat on a stone in the corner, and looked at the nearest gladiator, "Really?"

The handsome gladiator with fair skin and a collar around his neck shrugged: "First time?"

"What do you mean by first time?" Qin Xia raised his eyebrows, slightly surprised. "Who here can come in for the second time?"

The handsome gladiator curled his lips, his expression aloof and slightly proud: "This is my third time."

"What?" Qin Xia was surprised.

"I used witchcraft to escape twice. When I was caught the third time, they found that I could use witchcraft to become invisible, so they put this thing on me." The handsome gladiator pointed to the collar around his neck.

Then he looked around, his eyes lingering on the gladiators around him one by one.

"He, for the second time."

"This lady, for the fourth time."

"And that strong guy over there, it's his second time too."

Listening to the gladiator's words, Qin Xia looked at everyone in surprise.

This is both Iron Man and Nukeria's black technology.

There is even a collar that suppresses psionic energy.

This hellish place called Nuceria is already magical enough. To be able to escape from it several times, everyone present must be a tough guy.

"Don't listen to his bragging." Ono, who had left for some unknown purpose, came back with a glass of water and a piece of dry bread in his hands. "What they called escaping a few times was running out of this cave a few times, and then they were beaten up by the Omnics and thrown back before they even saw the sky."

Qin Xia nodded: "That makes sense."

After being exposed by Ono, the handsome gladiator stopped talking and leaned in the corner to rest with his eyes closed.

Qin Xia leaned against the wall and looked up at the top of the cave. He suddenly sighed, "Security intelligence, anesthetics, and the arena. I have seen the three treasures of Nukeria with my own eyes. There should be nothing in this damn place that can shock me anymore."

"The Three Treasures of Nukeria, hehe..." Ono nodded with a wry smile, "I can see that you are very optimistic."

Qin Xia was about to admit it when the handsome gladiator with his eyes closed spoke again: "There are many optimistic people like him, but soon they will become as lifeless as most people here."

Qin Xia didn't think so. Finding joy in adversity was one of his abilities, and even the Grey Knight's transformation could not erase his character.

While the three were talking, the door of the cave opened and Angron was escorted in by the omnics.

After the omnics closed the door and left, Ono walked up to Angron and handed him bread and water. "Eat something. Although you didn't vomit your stomach in the arena like most of us did when we first arrived."

Angron looked up at Ono, nodded, and took the bread and water.

Under Qin Xia's gaze, the Primarch walked to an empty corner, sat down on the ground, and began to eat.
