Chapter 86 Remarks on the launch
Chapter 86 Remarks on the launch
I have read a lot of other people’s comments on the release of a book, but when it’s my turn, I don’t know what to write, so I will just briefly talk about the origin of this book.
The reason is actually very simple. I spend most of my spare time playing games, watching movies or anime, etc. But I found that I spent a lot of time doing these things, and at the end of the day, I felt empty and irritated, and the relaxation effect was not even as good as going out for a walk, which was very annoying.
One day, when I was lying in bed after finishing my daily grind, I was thinking that instead of wasting time like this, I might as well spend it on something that could generate income. After searching my skill tree, I found that the most likely way to generate income was to write online articles.
To be honest, this is not my first time writing. I wrote a book called "The Plunderer's Path" when I was in college, but the original intention of writing that book was not to make money, but purely out of interest. Of course, the online literature market was not so big back then, it was still a niche track, and signing a contract with Qidian was enough.
So even though I wrote it badly, I still easily received a contract signed by A. I remember that it was a paper contract back then. But I felt that after signing the contract, my hobby became a job, which deviated from the original intention, so I gave up the contract, cut the book, and signed up for a tour group to go out and play for two weeks.
Later, I wrote several books, but most of them were out of interest. I would update when I wanted to, and I would not update when I didn’t want to. I didn’t write all of them on Qidian. I wrote on Moke and Mota. I wrote on Moke because they were the only ones with the paragraph review function at that time. I thought this function was very interesting. I could chat with my fellow book friends through paragraph reviews every day. Even if I didn’t sign a contract, I could still write.
As for a certain website, it's because its terms are easy. I can earn 400 yuan to eat hot pot even if I update weekly. Would you dare to believe it if I change to other websites? It's just a pity that my book friends who urge me to update have to pay for my casualness.
Then when I read this book, I really felt that at this stage of life, I should use my time wisely and open up an auxiliary track to generate income and hedge risks.
So after the Chinese New Year, I started writing again on Qidian. I thought that as long as I wrote seriously and kept updating, I would be signed. But I ignored the increasing competition intensity as the online literature market grew. Because of my casual writing habits, I seemed to have been writing for many years, but in fact I was still an amateur.
So the first opening, "Scarlet Game", which made me think the most, failed immediately and I didn't sign the contract. I posted the first three chapters on Longkong and Tieba, and asked experts to help me summarize the reasons for the failure. Then I learned from the previous failure and wrote the second opening, "Zhu Tian: I Just Want to Be a Human, I Refuse to Ascend", which was the opening that most suited my interests. It also failed immediately. So I wrote the third opening, which is this book "Train to Different Worlds".
In order to reduce the cost of floating, I did not choose to send it directly this time, but to submit it internally. Unexpectedly, the internal submission was approved at the first try, so I started to write it peacefully until today.
I have been writing for a month without realizing it, and the word count has reached 200,000 words. It meets the requirements for follow-up reading, so I discussed with the editor to put it on the shelves at midnight tonight.
Because I was writing the book part-time, two chapters a day was the limit, so I didn't save any drafts. It can be said that I only knew the subsequent plot developments one night earlier than the readers.
It is impossible to release a new chapter in a short time unless I can stay awake. So I will not shamelessly ask for your first order or monthly votes for this release. Please do as you please.
As my first book to be put on the shelves, I sincerely hope that this book can be like the title, a slowly moving train. No matter which station the passengers get on or off at, they will encounter an unforgettable scenery in the meantime, which will make people smile when they think of it occasionally.
