Chapter 7444 Interception

Chapter 7444 (Seven Thousand Four Hundred and Forty-Four) Interception

“I don’t want to look for loopholes in your words anymore,” said the brown-handed man.

"So do you admit that you were 'probing' just now?" the gray-handed man asked.

“I don’t want to admit it,” said the brown-handed man.

"Is it that you just don't want to admit it, or that you simply won't admit it at all?" Grayhand said. "In my opinion, there is a difference between the two."

"What's the difference?" the brown-handed man asked.

“What I just said had a flaw,” Grayhand said. “It needs to be revised.”

"How do you plan to change it?" the brown-handed man asked.

The gray-handed man replied, "Is it that you don't want to admit it but will admit it, or that you will never admit it at all? In my opinion, there is a difference between the two."

"You changed it, did you just add 'but will admit it'?" the brown-handed man asked.

“Yes,” said the Gray-Handed Man. “Do you think I haven’t made enough changes?” the Gray-Handed Man asked.

The brown-handed man laughed and said, "Actually, compared to not changing, it doesn't seem to be that different, do you think?"

“I think? I don’t think so. Tell me, why does it seem like there’s not much difference compared to not changing it?” the gray-handed man asked.

The brown-handed man said, "'Is it that you just don't want to admit it, or that you simply won't admit it at all?' The word 'just' is already present in your statement. Your use of 'just' implies that you merely don't want to admit it, but you might admit it."

“First, you said it was an ‘implication,’ which means it’s not very clear. Second, you also said it was ‘but it’s possible to admit it,’ which means it’s also possible to not admit it, which is different from what I said later, ‘but it will admit it,’” Grayhand said. “That’s the difference.”

“Well, there must be a difference, but is it significant?” the brown-handed man asked. The gray-handed man immediately replied, “Very significant. In my opinion, ‘but will admit it’ is certain, while what you just said, ‘but might admit it,’ is uncertain, since there is also the possibility that it might not admit it.”

“I understand the firmness and determination you’re referring to,” said the Brown-Handed Man.

"So, isn't there a big difference?" the gray-handed man asked with a smile.

“Since you’ve already said it’s very big, then I’ll say it’s big too,” said the brown-handed man.

"Wouldn't you call this 'following the crowd'?" Grayhand asked with a smile.

“To be precise, it could be considered ‘following the crowd’,” the brown-handed man laughed.

“I suddenly realize that I’m the one who’s ‘encircling and intercepting’ you,” said the gray-handed man.

The brown-handed man smiled and asked, "What does this mean?"

"Think about it," the Gray-Handed Man said, "you didn't think the difference was that big to begin with, and then I explained why I thought the difference was significant. Fine, I explained, but then I asked if you thought the difference was significant, making it seem like I was trying to change your opinion on whether the difference was big or not. So you said 'significant.' Normally, I wouldn't have said anything more, right? But instead, after you echoed my words, I asked if that counted as 'following the crowd.' Haha!" He continued, "What I did did did seem like I was 'encircling and blocking' you."

The brown-handed man laughed and said, "It's alright."

"Not bad?" the gray-handed man said. "I've pushed myself to this limit, and you still think it's not bad?"

"Of course it's alright. It's not like I've never seen a real competition before," the brown-handed man laughed.

"The kind of real rivalry? Who are you referring to? Did you already have someone in mind when you said that?" Grayhand asked.

“Of course. The person I thought of is the same person you thought of,” the brown-handed man laughed.
