"How did this turn into a conversation about people similar to me?" the brown-handed man said with a laugh. "How did we end up talking about this?"

The gray-handed man said, "Weren't you exploring just now?"

“Let me give you an example,” the brown-handed man said with a smile.

The gray-handed man chuckled and said, “I just said that if I said it, you’d probably laugh. What did you say after that? You said to me in this tone, ‘Tell me, is it okay if I don’t laugh?’” “Yeah, so I was ‘probing’?” the brown-handed man asked.

“Yes, and you didn’t just stop at this place,” the gray-handed man laughed.

"Do you still want me to tell you how I explored?" the brown-handed man asked.

“You said ‘times,’ not ‘sentences,’ and you even said ‘half a time’? Even if I didn’t imitate your complete sentence, it was the third time I imitated you, which counts as one time. You can say I imitated you three times,” the gray-handed man laughed.

“But do you mean it’s part of saying I don’t need to do this? Do you mean you want me to laugh when I hear what you say?” the brown-handed man said.

“It is a part, but you first imitated the whole statement and then imitated a part of it. They didn’t imitate it at the same time, so it has to be counted twice, corresponding to the second and third times respectively,” the gray-handed man laughed.
