Chapter 342 Gryffindor wins!

Chapter 342 Gryffindor wins!
In the sparsely populated stands, Harry and Ron sat alone in a corner.

Not far away, Ginny was watching the game in frustration.

She was pulled by her classmates to sit in another row.

"Harry, who do you think will win, Slytherin or Gryffindor?" Ron poked Harry carefully with his finger.

"I don't know." Harry shrugged.

"Yes, we all know Draco's level. Gryffindor Stark's level is just okay."

"You know, the core of Quidditch is the seeker. If the seeker is as good as you, Harry, all the other players have to do is to pester the players so that they don't disturb the seeker." Ron paused, and then changed the subject. "However, the other Slytherin players are just good at cheating within the rules, while Gryffindor is excellent except for the seeker. Moreover, they are the only Quidditch team that has not interrupted training since the start of school."

"Looking at it this way, Gryffindor has a good chance of winning."

Harry nodded in agreement.

Yeah, the Gryffindor team has never performed so well.

Apart from the opening pass to Chaser Johnson, which was snatched away by Marcus Flint, the speed with which they passed the Quaffle was incredible - Lee Jordan only had time to call out their names.

One after another, the Quaffles successfully passed through the goalkeeper's interception and entered the ring amid the astonishment of the Slytherins in the stands.

"Great! The ball goes in! - Now it's Gryffindor and Slytherin 90:10!" Lee Jordan jumped up and down excitedly. Professor McGonagall just pursed her lips and said nothing.

She was obviously excited too.

"It looks like Slytherin is doomed!" Ron said excitedly.

The Gryffindors and a few Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws on the stage also roared with excitement.

"No, not yet, look!" said Harry, and Ron looked in the direction Harry was pointing.

It was Draco, and he had obviously seen something.

Draco flew as fast as lightning, weaving through the crowd, with Stark following closely behind him.

"Danger! That's the stands." Harry couldn't help but yell. Draco and Stark flew straight towards the wall under the stands.

Their approach also caused screams of fear from the students sitting nearby.

But Harry was surprised to find that Draco had a triumphant smile on his face.

BANG! It was Stark, and he fell heavily to the ground.

Except for Madam Hooch and Professor McGonagall who flew over quickly, and the audience in the stands, no other Gryffindor team members noticed this.

"120:10, well done, Angelina! The goal you scored is as charming as you are! 140:10, Gryffindor wins! The winner is Alicia Spinnet, a newcomer with more than a year of official experience!" Lee Jordan was showered with compliments, and his determination to win made them ignore this point.

The concern for Stark in the stands and the gloating sounds coming from Slytherin were also considered by the other members of the Gryffindor team as cheers and interference from the Slytherins.

Stark in the audience shook his head, and Professor McGonagall and Madam Hooch both breathed a sigh of relief.

After their examination, it seemed that he just used a little too much force.

The game was not paused and Stark got back on the broom.

It seems that although he is not as flexible as Draco, his excellent qualities still allow him to avoid damage to himself and his broomstick in time.

The Slytherin team members laughed sinisterly, and each of them wanted to repeat Draco's success.

So much so that they really missed the last chance. "160:10, wait, it's 170:160! Draco Malfoy from Slytherin got the Golden Snitch! - But it was useless! Gryffindor won!"

"Malfoy caught the Golden Snitch - but Gryffindor won - my God, I don't think anyone expected this ending!" The ending was so bizarre that Lee Jordan repeated it again.

Poor Seeker Stark, he had just sat on his broom when the game ended in an unexpected way.

Ten minutes later, on the way back to the castle, Ron was amazed.

"I never thought your feint was so good that it scared Harry and me!" Ron patted his chest.

"You should be happy. This failure has little to do with you."

"I think one thing Flint should learn is to play well."

"If they don't focus on trying to do tricks in the second half, by the time you, Draco, get the Golden Snitch, the score will never be exactly 170:160. You have to know that Stark was unconscious for a while!" Harry patted Draco on the back comfortingly.

"Come on, Harry, it tickles!"

"Ron, and Harry, maybe Fred and George are too kind to you. You don't know how cruel they are to us Slytherins."

"It's not that I don't want to catch the Snitch while Stark is lying dead."

"But they're staring at me the whole time. If I speed up a bit, I'll probably be hit hard by the Bludger like poor Adrian," Draco sighed.

"But didn't anyone on the Gryffindor team notice Stark fell?" Ron asked in surprise.

"They didn't notice, but that doesn't stop them from staring at me." Draco shrugged.

"Are Fred and George so powerful?" Harry couldn't believe it.

"They are just living Bludgers. Facing Slytherin, they are no different from Slytherin - they are better at finding loopholes in the rules than Slytherin."

"But if they face Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw, they will be much more restrained."

"If I wasn't Ron's friend, I wouldn't have had the chance to pull off that feint." Draco clenched his fists.

Ron and Harry looked at each other.

They had always been told that Fred and George were amazing.

And I've watched their games.

Harry himself had even competed with both of them personally.

But they could not have imagined that from the perspective of Slytherin, as opponents, the characteristics revealed by Fred and George in the game made them so wary.

This is something you can't experience in the stands, or as a member of a non-Slytherin Quidditch team.

"Let's talk about something relaxing. Hmm, why don't we go look for Hagrid?" Ron pointed to Hagrid's hut at the edge of the Forbidden Forest not far away.

"Yeah, we haven't seen him for a long time since he said he was going to reorganize the group of Acromantulas." Harry nodded.

"Besides, I haven't seen any trace of him recently. Even if he is afraid of Voldemort, he wouldn't be so afraid to leave his room!" Draco suddenly thought of something.

Harry and Ron's eyes widened as well.

Like this, it was the last time Hagrid secretly raised Norbeta!
