Chapter 70 Crazy, crazy
Vasita followed Moran to the backyard, completely bewildered. She saw Moran climb onto the water tower, open the lid, and shove her wand into the opening.

The sound of rushing water was deafening.

Her sleepiness vanished instantly, her eyes widening: "Water...water?"

She slapped her mouth shut, not daring to make another sound and disturb Moran.

But that didn't stop her from screaming in her heart.

Wand, water, Clear Spring!

Moran has mastered the Clear Spring Technique!
The water was splashing louder than that of many second-year students!

Moran used the water release speed that she felt most comfortable with, mobilizing about half a mana's magic power at a time, and the water flow was as thick as a thigh.

In just a few minutes, Vasida's water tower was filled.

Cut off the magic, stop casting, close the water tower lid, and climb down the ladder.

As soon as she regained her footing, Vasida grabbed her hand: "Moran, when did you learn the Clear Spring spell?"

“Last night,” Moran said.

"The dean hasn't even taught you yet, and you've already learned it? And you use it so well?" Vasita was incredibly impressed.

"The Clear Spring spell is much simpler than cooking magic; you can learn it by following the book!" Moran said.

"What book is it? I want to learn it too!" Vasida asked.

"Regarding the recommended books for learning the Clear Spring spell in the 'Witch Magic Catalog,' there are 'Ignition, Illumination, and Water Creation' and 'Clear Spring Tunes.' One is an introductory reference book, and the other is a more detailed and in-depth learning guide. Both are quite interesting."

You've seen it, and you can learn it too. Just pay a little attention: when you successfully cast a spell for the first time, control your emotions and don't get too excited, as it will affect the magic's effectiveness and risk causing it to go out of control.

Moran shared all his experiences.

"The Book of Witches' Magic? That sounds familiar?"

Vasita was about to look up the first-grade reading list when Moran stopped her:

"It's the reference book for the paper we assigned in yesterday's Basic Magic Theory class! It's on the first-year reading list."

"Oh! That's it!" Vasita remembered, then suddenly looked at Moran suspiciously: "The paper was just assigned yesterday, and you already read the reference book last night?"

“I didn’t finish reading it.” Moran shook her head. “I just skimmed through it and wrote the paper.”

"What? You wrote your thesis last night? How many?" Vasida pressed.

"Two articles," Moran replied truthfully.

Vasita asked more boldly, "Do you still have a paper to write?"

Moran shook her head.

Vasida was dumbfounded.

"They've gone mad, they've gone mad."

Some little witches haven't even started writing their four papers yet, while others have already finished all their papers and even learned a spell..."

“What are you talking about?” Sylph came over from the front yard carrying a bucket. “My water tower is empty, Vasita. Do you have any? I haven’t watered the bellflowers today.”

"Come on! I'll add water for you!" Moran was just worried about not having a chance to practice the Clear Spring Technique!
Her water tower is only so big; once it's full, there's no room left to store the water.

"Huh?" Sylph didn't quite understand what she meant, thinking she was going to help fetch water, and quickly said:

"No need, no need, just a little water to water the flowers, I'll fetch the rest from the well when I get back at noon." "Hey! Let her add it for you!" Vasita grabbed Sylph: "She's learned the Clear Spring spell! She can fetch water faster than you!"

Sylph: "What? The Clear Spring Spell?"

A moment later, in the backyard of Sylph's dormitory.

"Look! The Clear Spring spell!" Vasita whispered to Sylph, "She learned it from a book last night. Not only did she learn the Clear Spring spell, but she also wrote two papers, read several books, and finished the papers assigned on Monday and Tuesday! Isn't that amazing?"

"Outrageous...no, how did she do that?" Sylph couldn't fathom how she could do so much in such a short time.

This week, whenever she had time, she read "The Birth of a Beautiful Cover," but she hasn't read much yet and hasn't chosen a cover style that suits her taste!

Moran was adding water to Sylph's water tower when several little witches living in the back row saw him doing so.

The news quickly spread among all the first-year witches.

On her way to school, Moran was interrogated by a group of first-year witches led by Vasita and Sylph: "Tell me! How did you do that?"

Moran honestly recounted what she did after class from Monday to Friday.

"You never cook, you just eat bread and cakes?"

Vasita used to eat in large quantities to fill her stomach, consuming countless mediocre or even unpalatable foods. Yet, she still couldn't understand why Moran, who was clearly skilled in cooking, ate bread and fruit cakes every day.

"It's not just fruit cake, there's also the jerky Ais gave me!"

The little witch looked at her as if she had some serious illness, so Moran quickly added a comment to make matters worse.

"Please stop talking! Here, take these, take them all! I'm really worried that one day you'll study so much you'll starve to death."

Ais gave her some more of her stock.

"No need! No need! Don't worry, it's absolutely impossible for them to starve to death!" Moran said confidently.

Seeing the little witches' suspicious looks, she became anxious: "What am I studying so hard for? Isn't it to learn more knowledge, become stronger quickly, and be able to do whatever I want in the future? How could I not cherish my life?"

"You'd better do that!" Ais said fiercely.

"Moran, don't be too hard on yourself." Sylph patted Moran's hand affectionately. "You need to relax sometimes too!"

"Um... I'm quite relaxed! The process of absorbing knowledge and learning magic is simply amazing!" Moran said.

Perhaps at first, she wanted to become stronger faster, possess the power to save the world, return to Earth in another timeline, and change the planet's fate of destruction.

But after she actually started learning magic, she really came to love the learning process.

Every day, my understanding of the world is refreshed—it's wonderful!
The world of Valen, witches, sorceresses, magic—it's all so captivating.

Moran couldn't wait to find out.

The little witches: "..."

All they know is that they must not mistreat their tongues or wrong their stomachs.

Seeing that they were unmoved, Moran used her trump card: "Tell me, do you want to learn the Clear Spring Technique? Do you want to fill the water tower in a flash?"

"Yes!" No little witch could bear the pain of drawing water from the well.

“Then take some time to learn the Clear Spring Spell! There are reference books available, and I’ve shared my experience with you all. The sooner you learn it, the sooner you can enjoy it. If the Dean comes to teach you, it will be at least after the Cooking Magic class. Do you think we can finish the Cooking Magic class anytime soon at our current pace?” Moran said.

The little witches, thinking of themselves still struggling with bread, shamefully felt a surge of desire.
