I suppressed the weirdness in the shelter

Chapter 34: Any unexpected gains?

Chapter 34: Any unexpected gains?

"Well, I'm glad the horses are all right, isn't it, Dorothy?"

Dorothy looked at the wheel that had been broken into pieces with a dark face. A nameless fire rose in her heart. Then she stepped directly on Wyatt's instep and vented her anger.

Wyatt protected his feet in pain and hopped on one foot, but finally slipped and fell because the ground was too slippery.

Holding his waist that seemed about to break, Wyatt groaned pitifully on the ground.

Seeing him like this, Dorothy felt no guilt at all. She put her hands on her hips and scolded Wyatt condescendingly.

After all, the reason why the carriage broke down was because this guy was racing without thinking about anything else, and finally it skidded and the whole carriage turned over.

If Adela hadn't been quick enough to use her blood to hold up the carriage, it wouldn't have been as simple as breaking a wheel.

"If you drive recklessly again, you'll have to get off and be the horse pulling the cart!" After teaching her a lesson, Dorothy turned to look at Adela who was comforting the horse, "You've used up so much blood, are you okay?"

"It's okay. I have to thank the director for his magic. If I had used so much blood before, I would probably feel dizzy."

"Look, I'm still very useful."

"Since you are so useful, why not be a wheel?"

Dorothy retorted to Wyatt in annoyance.

After she had her fill of talking nonsense, Dorothy calmed down, and now the three of them had to face the next problem.

Without a carriage, how can we get to Winterhold?

Dorothy's suggestion was to take some warm supplies from the carriage and ride to Winterhold.

This is indeed a good idea. If we set off now, we can still reach our destination before sunset.

There were three horses pulling the cart, just one for each person.

After Wyatt and Adela chose their favorite horses, they mounted their horses. When Wyatt was about to gallop, he found Dorothy coming to his side and reaching out to him.

"Oh yeah, you can't ride a horse."

"Yeah, what's the problem?" Dorothy tried to cover up something clumsily. "I'm not one of you masters. I've never even ridden a cow."

"Hehe, then the little hedgehog must hold on to me, the director, tightly."

"Who wants to hold you tight..."

Dorothy really did as she said and did not hug Wyatt tightly.

Wyatt grinned wickedly, and after Dorothy sat firmly, he rode off on his horse, which frightened Dorothy so much that she almost lost her balance.

She subconsciously hugged Wyatt's waist tightly, clenched her teeth, and her face turned red, as if she had suffered some great humiliation.

Damn it! I just taught this bad guy a lesson, but he actually got back at me again.

This little episode was over, and the three of them continued on their journey to Winterhold.

After losing the carriage, they were actually traveling faster this way. Unfortunately, it was cold and the roads were slippery, so the horses couldn't run too fast. Wyatt felt like he had lost his passion.

Fortunately, the rest of the journey was not too boring and some interesting things happened.

Wyatt and Adela both saw that something seemed to have happened on the road ahead.

A carriage overturned on the ground, and the horses pulling the carriage fell in a pool of blood. A group of guys in tattered black robes surrounded another group of people, seemingly preparing to do something wrong.

"Master Director."

"It is our duty to maintain social order. Besides, those black-robed men don't look like ordinary thieves. Let's take them down."

"Ok."

"What happened up front?" "Hold on tight, Dorothy, it's your turn next."

"What do you mean...Whoa! Why did you suddenly speed up? You'll slip!"

This is a rare opportunity, so Wyatt naturally has to speed up.

The black-robed people who were suspected to be thieves also saw Wyatt approaching quickly, and they reacted quickly, lining up in a row on Wyatt's path, ready to intercept him.

Wyatt didn't give them a chance to prepare. He saw the right moment, turned around, grabbed Dorothy by the back of her collar and lifted her up.

While Dorothy was still wondering how this guy became so strong, she noticed that the world around her began to spin.

Dorothy was a little slow to react before she realized that Wyatt had thrown her out!

"Go! Little hedgehog, use impact when you land!"

"Wyatt I'll *kill* you!"

The man in black robe originally planned to launch a volley of crossbow arrows to disrupt Wyatt's attack, but this guy didn't play by the rules and directly threw Dorothy out.

It turned out that this trick was quite useful. Dorothy quickly got into the state, flipped over in the air, adjusted her posture, and then gave a flying kick, hitting the leader hard in the face.

The physical strength of the "Evolved" Fallen is praised by everyone who has tried it. This kick directly turned the leader's face into a shoe horn.

Using the leader's face as a springboard, Dorothy fell into the encirclement of the other men in black robes.

Being surrounded does not mean being at a disadvantage. Just as the men in black robes were preparing to react, some of their companions were pierced through the throat by blood spikes that shot silently and fell directly to the ground.

"Are they just a group of ordinary thieves?"

There is no shortage of bandit gangs in the Wasteland Territory. In the most lawless places, even these evil gangs are the dominant ones.

The refugee settlement where Dorothy had lived since she was a child was occasionally visited by gangs of thieves. Every time she tried to escape was thrilling, as she could be caught if she was not careful.

Dorothy was not surprised at the existence of the thieves' gang. What surprised her was that these thieves dared to attack near Winterhold. Moreover, judging from their skills, these guys did not look like thieves.

Although she was confused, she still dealt a heavy blow to the thieves. In a blink of an eye, Dorothy dealt with all the thieves under Adela's cover.

After shaking off the blood on her hands, Dorothy looked at the victims of the robbery and was about to say something to comfort them, but the leader of the thieves who was knocked down first responded.

The black robe covering the part below his neck began to flutter. Was he preparing to stand up and fight and escape? Or was he making some other small movements?
Dorothy frowned slightly, staring at the thief leader's every move, ready to deliver a fatal blow at any time.

Dorothy thought something would fly out from under the black robe, but it turned out to be the head of the thieves' leader that moved first.

He raised his head, and his sunken shoe-horn face was covered with dirt, blood, and other gray and white liquids, looking a little creepy.

The thief leader laughed, and a few broken teeth fell out of his mouth, which was enough to show how hard Dorothy's kick was.

From the perspective of ordinary people, when faced with this situation, one would either run away or fight to the death. No one would laugh.

But in fact there are such people, and Dorothy has dealt with such people before.

Nativity.

His creepy smile reminded Dorothy of the dark days in the Nativity stronghold when the pagans in charge of the embryos would smile like this while abusing the children.

Laughing wildly, begging for mercy, wailing.

Dorothy gasped, and her clenched fists began to tremble slightly, whether out of anger or fear, she didn't know.

At this moment, Dorothy heard a sudden brake sound behind her, along with the sound of horses neighing and footsteps.

"Pagan? Isn't that right? Let the professionals do it!"
