Warhammer: This Galen's Heart of Steel

Chapter 116 Nine-Headed Snake Supreme

Chapter 116 Hydra Supreme

"So handsome, so deadly, so elusive, so hard to read."

Alpharius was led by a dark angel to the Primarch's reception room, where he sat on the soft sofa with his arms and legs stretched out.

Looking at the decoration of the reception room and the portrait of Lion's Jonson in the center, Alpharius recalled the Emperor's comments about his eldest son.

The Lion King is a Jaime Lannister with the brains of Tywin and the ruthlessness of Stannis. The ignorance of human nature inherited from King Arthur can still be applied to this knight among knights, but what is more frightening is the unscrupulous means he developed in the jungles of Caliban.

This thorough and ruthless pragmatism was enough to allow him to compete with the Wolf God Horus Lupercal for the position of Warmaster on his own, to make the Dark Angels' achievements surpass those of the unruly Space Wolves, and to make Robouti Guilliman, the Lord of the Ultramarines, look up to him.

But his unpredictable and arrogant temperament can be quite scary to others.

When the flagship Indomitable Truth was boarded by demons, in order to break Nikea's decision to ban psychic powers in order to survive the crisis, he angrily hit the head of his own priest who disagreed with him.

While negotiating with the rebel primarch Konrad Curze, he suddenly drew his sword and attacked.

While testing each other with Guilliman on the issue of the Second Empire, he secretly prepared airborne troops to take action if there was any disagreement.

After joining the Second Empire, he used extermination weapons such as phosphide radiation to wipe out Macragge in order to capture Curze.

Use the alien device Tuchulcha to ambush the Night Lords to break the cat-and-mouse stalemate between the two sides.

When he heard about the Horus Heresy, he felt that his chance to become Warmaster had come, so he sent a large amount of arms to the Iron Warriors Primarch Perturabo in order to seek support.

This chivalry of using any means necessary to win made the First Legion strong but also caused it to fall into internal strife.

Alpharius himself didn't know what happened next. He came to the Dark Angels Legion for only one purpose - Warmaster!
Time passed minute by minute, Alpharius sat on the sofa with his arms folded across his chest and his eyes closed, until a "click" sound came from the quiet living room, and he slowly opened his eyes that were shrouded in thick fog.

The door of the reception room opened, and a giant taller than Alpharius stood outside the door. His exquisite and luxurious armor was covered with blue blood. He held a sharp sword in his hand, and the blood that had not yet dried gathered from the hilt to the tip of the sword.

Ryan Jonson stood outside the door with an indifferent expression. He did not come in immediately, but stood there quietly, observing Alpharius who was sitting on the sofa and claimed to be his primarch brother.

Short

This was Ryan Johnson's first impression of this "brother". He was the same size as an ordinary Space Marine, and it was difficult to associate this man with the twenty demigods created by the Emperor.

Alpharius also noticed the Emperor's eldest son standing outside the door, and his eyes met those arrogant and indifferent eyes. The first confrontation between the Hydra Supreme and the Lion of Caliban began.

The heavy steel boots hit the marble floor, and the dull sound of the crackling echoed in the corridor, accompanied by the cold and ruthless voice of the Emperor's eldest son.

"The Emperor is unmatched, and there is no god to keep him company in this empty universe, so he created us demigods to be his equals."

“I know exactly what abilities and expectations are placed on me, and I am trembling with fear.”

At this point, the Emperor's eldest son had already arrived in front of the Hydra Supreme. He raised the sword in his hand and pressed it against the opponent's jaw. The alien blood slid down the Supreme's neck and onto the snake scale armor like a blooming rose.

"So."

The deep and long voice of the Emperor's eldest son echoed in the void.

"Tell me, what ability do you have to call yourself the Son of the Emperor, and what expectations are placed on you that make you dare to appear here in this appearance." Ryan Johnson's words were self-evident. He absolutely did not believe that the dwarf in front of him was his brother. His existence was a stain on the Emperor.

Although he felt disgusted with some of his Primarch brothers, Lion's Jonson had to admit that their glorious and majestic figures were proof of the Emperor's sacred greatness.

Now, a guy who is only the size of an ordinary Space Marine jumped out and arrogantly declared that he is the Primarch.

The anger of the Emperor's eldest son can be imagined.

Moreover, recent intelligence has not indicated that the Emperor has recovered a new Primarch.

The power armor worn by the strange guy in front of him was a paint scheme and model he had never seen before.

The sharp blade against his throat did not make Alpharius panic. He stated this fact to the Emperor's eldest son with a confident look.

"In fact, I am the first Primarch that Father found. My name is Alpharius."

"I'm sorry, my brother, this is all I can tell you. My legion, the expectations my father has placed on me, and the abilities my father has given me are all unspeakable secrets."

Such a vague answer did not satisfy the Emperor's eldest son, and he spoke in a low and threatening voice.

"Dark angels are the best at keeping secrets."

After saying this, the tip of the sword pushed inward a little, causing Alpharius's tough skin to dent inward. If it pushed in a little further, it would pierce his throat on the spot.

Alpharius was naturally aware of the subtext of the words of the Emperor's eldest son. If he did not reveal his identity, he would become a corpse and another well-kept secret of the Dark Angels.

"Those secrets, I once knelt at my father's knees, kissed the back of the Emperor's hand, and swore my loyalty. I can't reveal more to you. If this makes you doubt, please kill me, my brother."

He pinched the sword blade with two fingers and pushed it deeper into the throat. The sharp tip of the sword pierced the skin, and the hot red blood mixed with the alien blue blood.

The eyes of the Emperor's eldest son were filled with gloom. After a moment, he put the lion sword in his hand back into the scabbard.

One or two of them like to resort to self-harm tactics?

After learning the lesson from the Galen incident, Ryan Johnson understood one thing: no one would do something cruel that would end in death for no reason.

The "dwarf" in front of him must have some unknown way of saving his life, which made him think that he had really killed him.

Ryan's idea was correct, because no one knew whether the guy they were facing, who called himself Alpharius, was the real Alpharius or just an ordinary Hydra warrior.

Because, we are all Alpharius.

Seeing his brother sheath his weapon, Alpharius stated directly the purpose of his visit.

"My brother, my purpose for coming here is simple, and that is to help you ascend to the throne of Warmaster."
