Chapter 532, page 2.1-46: The Crown: The Treasure of a Lost Dynasty
Lin Ya seemed to realize what he had done, and his face turned even paler. He leaned slightly forward, but Mu Yegui grabbed his arms with both hands, preventing him from kneeling down.

His mouth moved, but before he could speak, he heard Mu Yegui say, "You've been controlled by Skatah. Is that related to your incomplete bloodline?"

Lin Ya, her face pale, slowly nodded and said in a hoarse voice, "It was only after I followed the king that I discovered a black totem on my body. It was the personal mark of Queen Skatech. Only then did I realize that my bloodline was probably related to that queen, or perhaps to my father whom I had never met."

But it doesn't really matter now. With the missing bloodline replenished, the Queen has fewer and fewer opportunities to control me. I can sense that in a few days, that mark will completely disappear. Perhaps that's why she controlled me to attack you today.”

Mu Yegui's expression returned to its original calm. She released her grip, took a few steps back, and said cryptically, "She's here..."

Lin Ya turned his head and looked in a certain direction, only to hear a slightly loud female voice faintly coming from afar.

"Something terrible has happened! Lord Linya! Those corpses have stood up on their own for some reason! They've come back to life!!" Tia ran over in a panic, shouting as she ran. Her cries were extremely loud and jarring in the silence, but she didn't wake anyone.

"What's going on?" Lin Ya asked coldly.

"I don't know! Go check it out quickly! The soldiers were caught completely off guard and half of them have already been killed!" Tia shouted from the edge of the pool.

"I'm coming right away." Lin Ya strode towards her, leaving Mu Yegui standing there, glancing meaningfully at Tia by the pool, but remaining silent.

Tia nodded, and after Lin Ya walked past her and headed in the direction behind her, her expression suddenly became profound.

“Tia…shouldn’t she be Queen Skatech, the Queen of the Shadow Kingdom of the Underworld? Nice to meet you.” Mu Yegui stood in the water, looking at the woman on the edge of the pool, and said slowly.

The woman chuckled softly and slowly walked towards the pool. With each step, subtle changes occurred to her body until she reached the water and stopped. Her simple clothes transformed into a magnificent dark purple gown, her long black hair cascading down her back, and a black crown adorned her head.

Skatech raised her hand, and a magnificent longsword inlaid with red gemstones appeared out of thin air in her hand. She looked at Mu Yegui arrogantly, her red eyes sweeping over the golden chain on Mu Yegui's wrist, and she let out a disdainful sneer.

“That dragon is really ruthless. He actually went so far as to use the Divine Lock to suppress you. It seems that ‘most favored’ was just a lie. I’ve been fooled by him again.” She paused and then said, “But it doesn’t matter. Killing you and taking away his most treasured Divine Lock is the same.”

As she spoke, she charged toward Mu Yegui, her longsword swirling with black threads, containing an extremely special power.

Mu Yegui stood quietly in place without moving an inch, as if he hadn't seen her at all, even though the intense killing intent had turned the surrounding water droplets black.

Her expression remained calm, unchanged.

Just as the longsword touched her, there was a 'clang' sound, and a dagger that suddenly appeared from the side blocked Skatech's attack.

Skatech's expression changed slightly. Following the direction of the dagger, he saw that Lin Ya, who was supposed to go check on the body, had somehow returned.

"Because I told him you were here." Mu Yegui remained still, only lowering his eyes and speaking softly.

This means that because Mu Yegui told Lin Ya she was coming, Lin Ya couldn't just leave. All he did was deceive Skatah, just as Skatah deceived them with Tia's appearance. "Just a watchdog for Issa, a piece of trash I don't want. You think you can stop me?" Skatah sneered, then engaged Lin Ya in combat.

Mu Yegui casually sheathed the slender sword in her hand back into the scabbard at her waist, and slightly raised her eyes to look into the distance. She seemed to hear some kind of screams and roars.

Perhaps those corpses really did rise up, but hadn't yet turned into bones; those living dead would be difficult to kill. However, the soldiers were putting up a fierce resistance and clearly wouldn't rush over immediately.

She looked down at her palm; the wound had healed, but black gas was still floating in it.

A sharp gust of wind swept past, and Skatech, who had gained the upper hand, attacked Lin Ya again after injuring her.

Mu Yegui then slowly raised her head to look directly at Skatech and said, "Speaking of which, I haven't introduced you to her yet..."

The longsword attacked Mu Yegui once again, but just as it was about to touch her neck, it was deflected by a sudden flash of silver light.

“His name is Jafar, and he is my personal knight. It’s a pity your assassination attempt failed.” Mu Yegui quietly observed the slight change in Skatech’s expression before continuing.

The young man stood beside Mu Yegui, still holding the silver spear, his long silver hair tied into a high ponytail that swayed gently with his movements.

A gentle smile graced his handsome face, revealing a pair of adorable dimples that radiated warmth like the sun.

Those dark orange eyes, which held a hint of a smile, instantly turned icy cold when they looked at Skatach. He casually sheathed his spear and said with a half-smile, "My master, wouldn't you call this a hero saving a damsel in distress?"

He pronounced the words "my master" in an incredibly ambiguous and tender way, the slightly raised ending tone making people itch with desire.

Mu Yegui glanced at him and said, "Let's deal with this first."

During the day, Jafar deliberately approached them, but it was just an act, all for the purpose of setting a trap and returning the sword she had entrusted to him for safekeeping.

This sword was given to her by Jafar when they formed a knightly contract. It carries Jafar's aura, and as long as she possesses it, he can track her location at any time and clearly sense whether she is in danger.

I gave it to Jafar before to avoid it being confiscated, but now it just so happens to be happening.

Of course, the more important thing was to act out a deception of Skatech's men hiding in the shadows, in order to facilitate future contact. However, they did not expect Skatech to be so impatient and take action that very night.

Mu Yegui walked to Lin Ya's side, bent down slightly to help him up, her fingernails scratching her neck, leaving a small mark. She pressed Lin Ya's head against her neck and whispered, "Suck my blood."

Her genes were used to supplement the vampire genes, so her blood is something that this race can no longer refuse, and can even accelerate their healing and enhance their original strength.
