Chapter 470, Part 2.0: Competition
"Did you receive a call from someone inviting you to a meeting with the Crown Prince?" Bertias suddenly asked.

"I received the call. The person on the other end gave me a strange feeling. Although he was somewhat gloomy and his face was completely covered by his hair, his demeanor couldn't lie," Dao Lin nodded.

The moment I saw him, I knew that person was the crown prince.

"Who do you think he is?" Bertias asked softly.

Dao Lin narrowed his eyes slightly and said slowly, "He has the same aura as me, so he's probably good at thinking but not good at fighting. I can directly judge that he's a crown prince who's high on the intelligence list. And there's only one person among the top members of the intelligence list that I've never met before."

After Daolin uttered those words, Bertias's expression suddenly changed, and he said coldly, "Isaiah, is that so?"

"Yes, the overall ranking describes Isaiah as having no combat ability and relying solely on intelligence. Judging from his appearance, he doesn't seem like someone who would use force. After eliminating all the impossibilities, the remaining one is the correct answer. He is definitely Isaiah." Daolin nodded and said with certainty.

"I had never met him before I left the Strategist Association. Either he was deliberately hidden away, or he joined later. But in any case, he must have a very good relationship with Shui Qi, and even be trusted by Shui Qi."

Bertias frowned, finding it hard to believe even himself. Gaining Shui Qi's trust was incredibly difficult. He had never intended to betray the Strategist Association, but Shui Qi's distrust had ultimately forced him to do so, leading to his being hunted down.

If I had to give a rating, Bertias would definitely give Shui Qi ten bloody red X's.

"Are you sure Shui Qi would trust someone?" Dao Lin gave him a half-smile and said, "Compared to trust, I think that person is too obedient and has no other thoughts. He is just treated like an exceptionally obedient dog by Shui Qi."

"But at least he's still a human being. Let's test his thoughts later. The Strategist Association is growing too fast and is threatening the survival of solo players."

And it's getting increasingly outrageous; they'll even steal other players' dungeons. If you're in a dungeon with a member of the strategy guide association, solo players are forced to give up. If they don't accept it, they might even be killed.

Bertias gestured to Daolin and said, "The Conqueror's Association has 9 crown princes, and there is a newly emerged organization called Dawn with 3 crown princes. The remaining crown princes are all independent individuals. However, 12 of the 22 crown princes are already in organizations."

The competition for the True Gem will likely be fierce, and perhaps the Conquerors' Association is considering this as well, which is why they plan to convene the Crown Prince's meeting, hoping to find an opportunity to get the independent Crown Princes on their side.

Not everyone wants to possess the Real Gems; there will always be someone who wants to monopolize them. After all, the Real Gems are the key to unlocking the King's Gate; only by collecting all 36 Real Gems can one meet the King.

The original rules stated that "the king's greatest love is jewels, and collecting 36 real jewels will grant the opportunity to personally present them to the king."

It can't be said that it has to be a person, since there's no rule against having someone accompany you.

After all, all crown princes have the right to challenge the king, and the real gem is merely the key to seeing the king.

The high priest recently killed two crown princes, which shows that the dungeon master is very powerful. It's just that no dungeon master has ever seriously faced them.

Dao Lin had a premonition that perhaps from now on, all dungeon owners would be serious, because they would do their best to protect the gems they guarded, regardless of whether they were real or fake.

The king is the ruler of this world, and the NPCs will never allow anyone to approach him.

Dao Lin frowned, then casually picked up a small stone from the large rock and threw it forward. The next second, he heard the sound of a mechanism turning, and the ground in front of him cracked open, revealing a dark passage.

"Found it, found it, but how did it appear?" the three said excitedly.

Dao Lin: "..."

Bertias glanced at Daolin with a detached look, and the latter quickly waved his hand, saying, "I didn't do anything."

“Let’s go.” Bertias didn’t say anything, but simply walked forward.

Dao Lin breathed a sigh of relief. Bertias was different from Shui Qi; at least he wasn't as paranoid as Shui Qi. However, Bertias gave off a stranger vibe, as if he was deliberately hiding his dangerous side.

The two followed silently behind the three men and one woman, watching the girl gesturing at them. From their conversation, they learned that the girl's name was Lachi, and she was the younger sister of one of the crown princes of the Conqueror's Association.

After sneaking here without the crown prince's knowledge, they found themselves lost. When they called him, they discovered that the crown prince was in a meeting and didn't have time to talk to them. So, Rachi got stubborn and insisted on completing a dungeon to impress her brother.

Dao Lin didn't really want to comment on their playful, childish attitude, and he wasn't keen on helping them even if they were in danger, since he had a grudge against the Strategist Association.

"Who?!"

After walking down the stairs to the bottom, they encountered an unexpected person.

It was a girl with long, wavy, misty gray hair, who was looking at the stone wall in front of her with her back to them, covered with various patterns.

Upon hearing the sudden sound, she slowly turned around to look at them. Her exquisite, doll-like face was completely expressionless. As if she hadn't seen the four people, she greeted Daolin and Beltias, "Daolin, Beltias, long time no see."

"Mu Yegui? Aren't you in the royal city?" Dao Lin frowned slightly and asked.

"Hmm, seven childish kids fighting triggered some mechanism, and then I was suddenly teleported here. I haven't found a way to leave yet," Mu Yegui said slowly after a few seconds of thought.

Seven childish brats? Who are they?

On the day of the meeting, half of the houses in the East District were demolished, which was bad enough. Later, during the preparation for the ceremony, for some unknown reason, the group started fighting again. She accidentally pressed something and suddenly disappeared.

Although she didn't think it was an accidental touch, because Lanlos deliberately walked towards it and then pretended to be caught in the turmoil and bumped into it.

Lanlos's true intentions are still unknown, but she feels she can find some special clues in this instance.

The wall in front of her was painted with stories about the period before the king appeared.
