Chapter 170, Section 1.11-15: The Hall of Amnesia
"Ah, it's almost time." Jill took out her gold pocket watch from her pocket and glanced at it, her expression slightly flustered.

"Get your things organized, I'll go change my clothes first." Sher took off his silver-rimmed glasses and placed them on the table, then slowly stood up and said.

"Yes, sir!" Jill straightened her expression and said.

Wearing a gray shirt over a black vest, with neatly combed golden hair, Gil's exquisite and beautiful face made him look more like a pampered young master than a personal male servant.

In fact, before he came to serve Sher, he was indeed a young master born into a noble family. However, it was not because his family had fallen on hard times, but because for nobles, serving a lord, even as a servant, meant a higher status than that of an ordinary nobleman.

So they pushed him out like that, and in fact he did stand out from the crowd and became the only one standing by Sher's side as a personal male servant and part-time executive officer.

Even so, he was actually the coachman when they went out; he was just an all-around tool...

Jill looks to be only sixteen years old, but in fact, it is because of his family genes that he looks young. He has been serving Duke Sher for nearly 200 years.

However, this was the first time the Crown Prince had attended a gathering; in the past, it was a video conference held every five years. Of course, there were always absences, such as Mr. Adele, who was imprisoned, and before anyone had taken over, it was due to greed and rage.

Apart from that, everyone else was present, even Prince Lazy appeared in the video conference, although all that could be seen throughout was the whorl of hair on his head.

He was tidying up the documents on his desk, his pointed ears peeking out from beneath his tousled blond hair, but they were always well hidden by his hat. They weren't exaggerated like an elf's ears; they looked more like human ears.

However, unlike the rounded shape of the tip of a human ear, his ear tip is a true ear tip, but it is not long, so as long as the wispy hair is long enough, it can be easily covered up.

A gentle knock sounded on the door.

Gilles was slightly taken aback. Who was visiting at this hour? The Duke had already changed into his ball gown, and the ball was indeed about to begin.

He didn't speak, stopped tidying up the documents, and stared intently at the door.

The door creaked open slowly.

Jill paused for a moment, then released the file and quickly crouched down behind the table, peering under it to see who had arrived.

Actually, he regretted it the moment he squatted down. He wasn't doing anything wrong, so why was he the one hiding?! But there was no use regretting it now. He might as well quietly observe what this person was up to.

What catches the eye is a pair of extremely small and cute feet.

Jill: "..." This thief seems a little different from what I imagined.

Mu Yegui stood in front of the table, looking down at the irregularly cracked vase on it. The black and white flower on it was nodding like a shy young girl.

"What are you doing?!" Jill couldn't help but suddenly stand up and shout.

Mu Yegui paused slightly as he reached for the vase.

From Jill's perspective, it was as if she was reaching for the documents, meaning Jill believed that Muyegui wanted to steal them.

Jill pulled a dagger from her sleeve, used one hand to support herself on the desk, and leaped in front of Mu Yegui, the dagger pointing directly at Mu Yegui's throat.

Mu Yegui took a step back and without hesitation reached behind his waist to draw his sword and block Jill's dagger.

"It's you again!!" Jill frowned, her tone tinged with displeasure. "I haven't settled the score with you for breaking my kneecap last time!" A hint of confusion flashed in her cool silver eyes. It turned out that this person not only knew her but also had a grudge against her.

But why is he still so lively and energetic after his kneecap was shattered?

With the dagger blocked, Jill clenched her other fist and punched Mu Yegui, while simultaneously kicking her.

Mu Yegui simultaneously raised his foot to block Jill's foot and turned sideways to avoid Jill's fist.

Jill took a step forward, the dagger in her hand gleaming with a silver light and exuding a hint of coldness. Her delicate and beautiful face was filled with gritted teeth as she looked at Mu Yegui.

"What are you doing here?!" Jill asked as she attacked Mu Yegui.

Mu Yegui glanced at the vase, unable to speak due to her loss of voice. She could only dodge the attacks while looking for an opportunity to retrieve the vase.

Jill drew three sharp daggers, no longer than a fingernail, from her belt. They were more like hidden weapons for surprise attacks than actual daggers.

With cold eyes fixed on Mu Yegui, he threw the weapon without hesitation towards the blind spot, and then charged forward.

Mu Yegui pursed her lips. This person must be an 'assassin,' carrying so many hidden weapons. Is he trying to prevent assassination?
The dagger and the short sword clashed, sparking a few sparks. The fight between the two made the study extremely messy, and many things were even broken.

Jill was anxious, yet unwilling to let Mu Yegui go. In her desperation, she disregarded the consequences and, without hesitation, swung at Mu Yegui, who was standing right in front of the desk.

Mu Yegui glanced at the vase on the table, and seeing Jill attack, she turned around gracefully and beautifully to dodge the attack.

With a 'bang,' the heavy desk was split in two by Jill, the vase smashed to the ground and shattered into several pieces, and the delicate black lily was utterly ravaged.

Jill: "..." We're doomed.

He stood there, stunned, seemingly unable to accept what was happening.

The desk fell over with a loud thud, bringing with it specks of dust. The documents on the desk were scattered everywhere, and even the silver-rimmed glasses were thrown several meters away, landing on the floor of the bookshelf.

Mu Yegui clapped his hands, then pointed at Jill, indicating that Jill had done all of this.

Jill was on the verge of tears; he'd been tricked by this person again!
She walked over and casually stuffed one of the fragments with intricate patterns into her pocket. Then she went to the bookshelf, bent down, and seemed to be looking for the glasses that had been tossed somewhere.

Jill didn't have time to regret anything and started frantically packing up.

The adults will be downstairs soon, so let's clean up the mess first and make sure the culprit is safe! He can't be wronged like this! He wouldn't have caused such a disaster if this person hadn't suddenly walked in!
Mu Yegui had completely achieved her goal. She should have made a quick getaway before her master arrived, but after thinking about it, she decided to find the silver-rimmed glasses instead.

Eyeglasses are a very important thing.

Light, slow footsteps approached from outside the door.

With red eyes, Jill shouted at Mu Yegui, "You're not allowed to leave!!!"

He looked like he was about to cry from worry.
