Chapter 162, Section 111, Chapter 8: The Amnesiac Corridor

Chapter 162 1.11 8 The Hall of Amnesia
In the flower-filled courtyard, a handsome man sat at a garden table applying medicine to himself. His black leather jacket was half-undone, revealing his fair but not thin arms.

Five bloody scratches were visible on his arm, showing no signs of healing.

A long bandage was slightly tucked between her sensual, thin lips, and a small bottle sat on the white garden table.

His handsome face furrowed slightly, and his dark orange eyes stared intently at the medicine bottle in front of him, as if he was considering whether or not to apply the medicine.

"Hey, you behind me, come here and apply the medicine for me." He didn't turn around, but easily spotted the girl walking behind him and called out casually.

Mu Yegui paused slightly, her cool silver eyes showing a hint of confusion.

She turned to look at the man who had called her, his dark blue hair shimmering mysteriously in the sunlight.

On the black halter top, on the right back shoulder, is a totem of a winged sea serpent. The totem is in two colors: black and dark blue, but upon closer inspection, one can see specks of golden light shimmering within it.

Seeing that Mu Yegui was not coming over for a long time, he urged, "Hurry up."

Mu Yegui took a few steps forward, and a small bottle flew towards her.

She instinctively reached out and caught it, then saw the man place his injured hand on the back of the chair, indicating to Mu Yegui that he should apply medicine to it, without ever looking at her.

Even if I apply medicine to him, I don't have the right to let him even glance at it.

"I don't know how to apply medicine, can you just pour it all on?" Mu Yegui looked down at the small bottle in his hand and was about to pour it all on.

"Hey!" Jealousy didn't have time to stop it before she saw the entire bottle of medicine being poured onto her arm.

"Are you an idiot?!" Jealousy suddenly stood up, his face dark as he looked at the yellowish mark on his arm and roared.

With her cool, silver eyes fixed on jealousy, Mu Yegui said calmly, "You didn't say how to apply it."

Long, slender fingers gripped Mu Yegui's neck with a slight tightening. Jealousy, her face ashen, glared angrily at Mu Yegui, gritting her teeth as she said, "Who gave you permission to contradict me?"

Mu Yegui remained calm, showing no sign of blushing even when her neck was being choked. It was clear that her breathing pattern was different from that of humans, and even being choked could not cause her to feel suffocated.

She glanced at the yellow patch on the bloody welt on Jealousy's arm and said earnestly in her soft, sweet voice, "Are you always so furious? Why are you so easily angered? Since it's already on your arm, you might as well make the most of it and smooth it out. In fact, you're the one who dumped the excess on the ground."

"So? Are you still blaming me?" Jealousy gripped Mu Yegui's neck and leaned closer to her, then suddenly chuckled softly, her alluring, low, husky voice carrying a hint of morbid madness.

"You can interpret it however you like; I'm just stating the facts," Mu Yegui said calmly.

Suddenly, Jealousy paused slightly in his grip on her neck, then tossed her onto the garden chair and pressed down on her. He lowered his head, gently pressing his forehead against Mu Yegui's smooth, full forehead, the two of them almost only a few centimeters apart.

Jealousy braced one hand on the back of the garden chair and the other on Mu Yegui's neck, but her chin was pressed against a sharp short sword. The one holding the short sword was Mu Yegui, who was being forcibly restrained on the garden chair.

Crimson blood slid down the groove of the short sword and flowed onto her hand. Her cool, silver eyes quietly gazed at Jealousy's dark orange eyes, calm and profound.

“Perhaps you could try to see who’s faster.” Jealousy snorted coldly. Just as the two were locked in a stalemate, someone behind them suddenly exclaimed in surprise, “What are you doing? The garden isn’t a place for messing around.”

"I didn't do anything." Jealousy paused slightly, casually let go of her hand, and took a few steps back to increase the distance between herself and Mu Yegui.

Ji Qi was holding a gold-threaded birdcage and looking at the two of them with a smile.

"Oh dear, Jealousy, how come you're injured again? Is this an old wound that hasn't healed and you've added another one? That's quite something." Dark eyes glanced thoughtfully at a yellow mark on Jealousy's arm and teased, "Your skill in applying medicine is really getting better and better. Such a big wound and you only applied it up to the size of a fingernail. Do you think the areas that weren't treated will have the same effect as the areas that were?"

"Get out!!" Jealousy, his face dark with envy, picked up a medicine bottle from the table and smashed it at Ji Qi.

Ji Qi clutched the golden birdcage in his arms, then breathed a sigh of relief after seeing that the nightingale inside was unharmed. He then frowned and said, "Are you out of your mind? What are you throwing around like that?"

"My affairs are none of your business. Could you please get lost right now?" The dark orange eyes glared fiercely at Ji Qi, and she said coldly with jealousy.

"Here you go, Nightingale. I'm leaving." Ji Qi placed the golden birdcage on the table and left with an extremely pale face, clearly provoked by a sudden outburst of jealousy.

The black nightingale in the pheasant cage had a pair of golden eyes, but it was listless and seemed to be on the verge of dying.

"Isn't it pitiful that this nightingale has lost its voice?" He squatted down in front of Mu Yegui, reaching out to hold her wrist. His dark orange eyes shimmered with obsessive love, while his low, alluring voice gave off a morbid madness.

"What do you want to say?" Mu Yegui asked calmly, looking down at Jealousy.

“Your voice is very beautiful, so how about I give it my voice? I don’t want to hear any discouraging words from you, but I can hear the beautiful song from the nightingale…” He chuckled softly, his dark orange eyes filled with Mu Yegui’s presence, as if she were his only one.

"So, can you obediently listen to me and give it your voice?" The slightly hoarse, magnetic voice was melodious and moving, easily stirring up anyone's emotions, like a demon from the abyss, bewitching its followers into darkness.

“That person is right, you are indeed mentally ill.” Mu Yegui was clear-headed and emotionless, so naturally she could not be bewitched by him.

His slender, pale hand twitched slightly as he gripped Mu Yegui's chin, forcing her to look at him. His voice was hoarse as he said harshly, "I didn't give you a choice. You just need to obediently listen to me..."

Mu Yegui reached out and grabbed his wrist, slowly and forcefully moving his hand away. In terms of strength alone, it seemed that her grip was stronger than Jealous's.

"Continue applying the medicine. This time, I'll also apply it to the wound on your chin," Mu Yegui said slowly, glancing thoughtfully at the man's injured chin.

Jealousy coldly stared at Mu Yegui, finally reducing everything to a cold snort.

All I can say is that being jealous of this man is truly insane and makes him a scumbag.

Without comparison, there is no harm. Although Fischl's husband is a pervert, he is at least a gentleman and very gentle.

But jealousy? Ha! He wouldn't even give me a kind look. He's even more of a sadist and pervert than Fisch. (Even so, he's truly an all-rounder, which I'll write about later. This man is really amazing; I'm about to fall for someone else.)
Furthermore, the daytime plot was entirely the script's fault. In other words, the script I wrote was a Mary Sue story, intended to trick everyone, which is why I wrote it that way.

And what happened in the evening...

Honestly, the purpose of the punishment instance is punishment, so everything that happened during those ten nights will happen. You can guess what will happen. (It's super tragic; the only way to cheer yourself up is through the daytime storyline.)
