I'll also work hard to conquer the dungeon today.

Chapter 160, Section 111, Chapter 6: The Amnesiac Corridor

Chapter 160 1.11 6 The Hall of Amnesia
Jill, holding the documents in his hands, walked into the study with a helpless expression. He wore a white shirt under a black vest, and a black top hat slightly covered his blond hair, making him look more like a pampered young master with his delicate features.

“My lord, these are the expense reports submitted by the six lords.” Jill added angrily, “Someone must have inflated the figures, but the transportation expenses alone couldn’t possibly be that much.”

Her long, misty white hair was tied back with a purple ribbon, and her expression was cold and expressionless. A pair of silver-rimmed glasses slightly obscured her beautiful, light-gold eyes. Sher was currently looking down at the documents Jill had handed him. He casually flipped through a page and then put it down.

He said in a cool, indifferent voice, "Reimburse them."

"Huh? You agree to things that aren't reasonable?" Jill puffed out her cheeks and said angrily.

“These people are shameless. Rather than waiting for them to throw a tantrum, we might as well just give in to them.” Shel glanced at Jill, then picked up the stamp next to her and affixed her official seal to each expense report.

“Alright then, I’ll take them to the Treasury Department right away,” Jill said with a pout.

Seeing Jill leave, Sher called out again, "Wait."

Jill turned her head slightly, looking at Sher with a puzzled expression. "Hmm?"

"Why are there marks of jealousy in the corridor?" Sher glanced at Jill and said coldly.

"Didn't Lord Ji report to you before that he would impose a dungeon punishment on the candidate Mu Yegui? The mark must have been activated for that reason." Jill scratched her head, thought it over carefully, and finally had a flash of inspiration and found an excuse.

"Summon him." Sylph's light gold eyes narrowed slightly behind his silver-rimmed glasses as he spoke coldly.

"Yes!" Jill instinctively straightened up, answered, and hurriedly ran out.

The large study was now empty except for Sher. Sher reached up and removed his silver-rimmed glasses, placing them aside. He leaned back slightly in his chair and slowly closed his light golden eyes.

A faint sigh drifted from the quiet study.

Not long after, there was a light knock on the study door three times.

Sher abruptly opened his eyes and sat up straight. His softened expression returned to its usual coldness as he said indifferently, "Come in."

A handsome man with dark blue, tousled hair peeked out from behind the door. He stared intently at Sher with his dark orange eyes, then gestured in greeting, "Hey, what can I do for you?"

He pushed open the door and walked in. Underneath the black leather jacket draped halfway over his arms was a slightly torn black tank top, revealing a glimpse of his fair navel and perfectly accentuating his muscular and sexy physique. A black chain-like choker adorned his neck, giving him a forbidden allure.

He casually pulled out a chair not far from Sher, sat down, crossed his arms and crossed his legs. His handsome face carried a hint of rebellion and unruliness. He raised an eyebrow at Sher, not saying a word as if waiting for Sher to speak.

With a slight glance at the unseemly jealousy in his light gold eyes, Sher said coldly, "Sit properly, what kind of behavior is this?"

"Mind your own business." Jealousy snorted disdainfully, but still put down her crossed legs and leaned back slightly in her chair.

She twirled a stray hair from her forehead with one hand and asked, "So, what do you want from me?"

"Just asking about the mark of jealousy on the stone pillars in the corridor," Sher said slowly, picking up a script from the table and casually flipping through a page. Jealousy raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement flashing in its dark orange hue, and reminded him, "I've been wanting to ask this before. I remember you seem to have poor eyesight; why aren't you wearing glasses?"

His light gold eyes glanced at the silver-rimmed glasses on the table, a dark glint flashing in them. His voice grew even colder. "You talk too much. Answer my question."

"Tch, still like an old woman, always asking questions." Jealousy curled her lip, reached out and grabbed her dark blue-dyed hair, muttering to herself.

“…” Shel glanced coldly at Jealousy, his expression unmoved. “Answer me.”

"Didn't Ji Qi tell you? Of course, it's about punishing the candidates for violating the rules," Jealousy said innocently, touching his nose.

The hideous, bloody claw marks on his right wrist were faintly visible, clearly indicating that the wound had not yet healed.

"Such a stupid script?" Her light gold eyes narrowed slightly, and she turned to look at Jealousy with the same gaze she would give a fool, speaking coldly.

"What's wrong with that? Aren't these dreamlike harem-style scripts the most popular with the public?" Jealousy blinked and asked back without any remorse.

Seeing that Sher's face darkened, he added, "I know you have a lot of rules here, so I won't disturb what's in front of you."

"Know your limits." Shel stared at Jealousy for a long time before finally giving him only four words.

"That's settled then, I'll be going now." Jealousy slowly stood up and prepared to leave.

“Wait a minute.” Sher took a small white porcelain bottle from the drawer and placed it on the table. “Even if you hurt yourself, you have to treat the wound properly. This is the medicine that Laziness prepared before. Also, you must stay here and keep an eye on the progress of the punishment dungeon until it ends. If anything happens, you’d better be able to give me a reasonable explanation.”

Jealousy stepped forward, picked up the small bottle, and casually stuffed it into his pocket.

"I know, it's no big deal," he said nonchalantly, though in reality he had ulterior motives.

The so-called East Tower is Sher's forbidden zone, and what he has to do is to reopen the East Tower with the help of the alternatives.

What he liked most was seeing Sher's face full of sadness and pain, well...

He's only happy when others are unhappy. After all, the fact that Sher is above him is something he can never change, so this is the only way he can get revenge on him.

"I never intended to avoid involving you. My main purpose in writing this script was to drag all of you into this. I want to see who can remain unscathed." A cold killing intent flashed in his dark orange eyes. After walking out the door, he snorted coldly and left without looking back.

The scenario he designed was divided into day and night. The daytime scenario contained his script, while the nighttime scenario consisted of the Ten Nights Corridor. However, both aspects were bidirectional, meaning that everyone who got close to the candidate would be drawn into the scenario he designed, even if they didn't intend to.

Of course, despite this design, he himself doesn't want to get close to the candidates, so the others should just keep trying.

Let him watch a good show.
