Chapter 150, Section 110: The Seven Deadly Sins

Chapter 150, Section 1.10: The Seven Deadly Sins (Part 1)
"Why are you so slow?" The handsome man with long, misty white hair leaned lazily against the stone chair, his dark orange eyes slightly raised as he looked at the finger held in the air, and said indifferently.

"Wait? Aren't I the first one here?" Zhu Yan glanced at the chair, pulled out the chair with one hand, and sat down in the middle right of the man.

Agatha stood calmly to Zhu Yan's left, placing the documents in her hand on Zhu Yan's desk.

"What is this?" Zhu Yan flipped the document with a look of disgust, and after seeing what was on it, he immediately lost interest and threw it back.

Unconsciously, Zhu Yan raised one foot onto the chair. Agatha glanced at him, then coughed lightly. Zhu Yan immediately put his foot back down, maintaining his composure.

"This generation of Fury seems to be quite obedient." He glanced at Zhu Yan with his dark orange eyes and chuckled.

"Why can Agatha sit like that, but I get my legs broken if I sit like this?" Zhu Yan pointed two fingers at the man and said angrily.

"This gentleman has no bones, and neither do you?" Agatha pushed up her glasses and asked truthfully.

Zhu Yan was about to say something when she heard a soft laugh coming from the doorway, gentle as a breeze yet elusive.

"I'm sorry, my master is too lazy to move, so I will be participating in his place again this time."

Lanlos walked in slowly, dressed in a pure and holy white robe, his long silver hair falling behind his head and almost reaching his ankles.

He held the documents in one hand and raised the other to tidy the stray hairs by his ear. The silver eye on his slightly exposed fair wrist seemed to be filled with mystery and an indescribable aura.

His handsome face was adorned with a gentle smile, and his silver eyes were as clear as the sky.

He walked to the stone chair to the left of the man and stood there. Even as an agent, he was not entitled to sit in the seat that belonged to his master.

"It's been so many years since we had a meeting... and that lazy guy is going to be absent again?" The man looked at Lanlos with ill intent, his tone laced with malice. "Did you get Lazy drunk?"

“How could I? I would never do such a rude thing.” Lanlos chuckled gently. “Your Majesty the Duke seems a little different. Weren’t you usually the most particular about etiquette?”

"Really? I don't think there's anything wrong with that." He chuckled dismissively.

The grand hall was decorated with magnificent furniture, and the black lilies on the table were still dripping with water droplets, making the red tablecloth appear even darker.

"Baa~~" A commotion came from the doorway, accompanied by the bleating of sheep.

The guards pointed their spears at the gate and said sternly, "Excuse me, animals are not allowed inside the palace."

A long-haired man with a crown, dressed in a pale green robe with white bamboo leaf patterns, was riding a sheep when he was stopped by the guards and could only slowly climb down.

He stroked his goat beard and explained with a sincere expression, "Hey, this isn't an animal, it's my master."

The guard coldly exposed, "Sorry, no matter how you look at it, it's a fat sheep."

With a snap, the man opened his folding fan and fanned himself, then folded it up and tapped the fat goat's belly with the fan, saying helplessly, "It's not a fat goat, this is clearly a fat pig. Look at these four legs and this fat body, what part of it is that doesn't resemble my master?"

"You said it's a fat pig, so no matter what species it is, animals are not allowed to enter?" The guard, with his extremely high mental fortitude, could not waver in his resolve under any circumstances.

"Oops, did I let it slip? But that's not important. Do you know how hard I worked to find a fat pig to replace my master? I almost got gored by it!" The man sighed in annoyance, scratching his head with his folding fan as he said hesitantly.

"Even so, it's still livestock," the guard said coldly. The man glanced at the fat sheep with disgust, then looked at the guard with hopeful eyes. "My Gluttonous Lord ate so much that he turned himself into a fat pig, and now he can't turn back. Please let me in, I need to ask Lord Jealousy to turn my master back. Look at this fat pig—I spit on my master! Isn't he pitiful? He used to have two legs, but now he has four, and he's so fat he can't even walk. Please have pity on us, master and servant."

Guard: "..." You clearly rode here.

"Looks like Gluttony has abandoned his subordinates again to sneak off to find food. But his apostle is quite a character; he never forgets to bring his master along for a scolding, no matter what." The man leaned forward, adopting a spectator's posture.

"Who is that?" Zhu Yan asked Agatha, puzzled.

"Ji Qi, the chief administrator under the Gluttony Lord, is an oddball whose thought process is inherently different from ordinary people," Agatha said slowly, pushing up her glasses.

Lanlos turned his head to look at the farce at the door and chuckled as he explained to Zhu Yan, "Ji Qi is quite a legendary figure. He initially served His Majesty the King before being assigned to Gluttony Lord to assist him in managing the Gourmet Kingdom."

Zhu Yan scratched his pointed ears and asked in confusion, "Qiqi?"

Agatha sighed helplessly and corrected her, "It's Ji Qi. This character seems a bit difficult for you to pronounce."

"I want to eat hot pot with mutton," Zhu Yan said, looking at Agatha as she ordered.

“You’re just after that fat sheep at the door,” Agatha exposed.

"Is it not allowed? We've already brought all the ingredients; it would be a waste not to eat them." Zhu Yan jumped off the stone chair, grabbed his sickle, and walked towards the door, shouting, "That sheep is for dinner; don't take it with you."

"Get out! That's my master! Don't touch it!!! If you want to kill someone, kill me first!!"

Three minutes later.

Ji Qi stared at the fat sheep lying in a pool of blood with a conflicted expression, a hint of regret in his dark eyes.

The next second, he squatted down and hugged the fat sheep, not caring whether the blood would stain his robes, and howled, "My master, you died so tragically! Don't worry, I will eat more meat tonight to avenge you."

With a blank expression, he stood up, straightened his clothes, ignored the dark red stains on his sleeves, and walked into the hall without looking back.

"Not going to act anymore?" The man looked at Ji Qi with amusement and teased him.

"It was just venting my frustration at being abandoned by my master. Why are you acting like the Duke again, Lord Jealousy?" Ji Qi stood on the right side of the stone table, slamming the documents in his hand onto the table, and exposed him.

"Huh? Were we found out?" The man chuckled and snapped his fingers.

With a 'snap', the man's appearance underwent a dramatic transformation. His long, misty white hair was now short, even dyed with blue and gold highlights. He wore a black leather jacket studded with rivets, revealing a hint of his fair navel, making him look exceptionally sexy and alluring.

"Ah, I really don't understand the trends in your entertainment kingdom. Can't you dress like a normal person?" Ji Qi scratched his head with his folding fan and asked in confusion.

"You people dressed like this, so full of rural charm, wouldn't understand me." He raised a slight brow in his dark orange eyes, glanced at the crowd, and said sarcastically.

Zhu Yan gripped his sickle and stood up abruptly, his blood-red eyes filled with rage and ferocity. "Believe it or not, I'll chop you down!"
