"Remember to call me."

Before leaving, the girl playfully made a gesture in the direction of the sports car, turned around and left with the two police officers. The graceful curves of her back view were simply captivating.

"Wipe your drool and fasten your seatbelt," Jack reminded Fusco, who was still in a daze.

The latter subconsciously wiped his mouth, and while reaching for the seatbelt, he urged with a slightly annoyed tone, "Hurry up, 'Wonder Boy' needs our help now."

Before he finished speaking, Jack had already stepped on the gas, starting in third gear. The smooth, fluid maneuver was completed almost instantly, and the powerful push-back sensation pressed Fusco firmly into his seat.

"I didn't expect you to care about Rither so much." Jack was a little surprised. He thought Detective "Bean" would forget his duty because of a pretty face, but he didn't expect him to be even more anxious than he was.

Fusco's answer seemed somewhat insincere: "Although I can only be considered a part-timer, I'm still colleagues with that guy."

Jack smiled and didn't delve deeper into the topic. Although he had been involved in many "POI" cases, most of the "irrelevant numbers" were handled by Finch and Reese.

For many of the tasks that required the cooperation of the NYPD, the two would directly contact Fusco or Danny, and they worked together for much longer than they worked with Jack.

Don't let Detective "DouDou's" usual tsundere attitude fool you; he's always been a man of principle, even when he's just saying one thing and meaning another. He'll give people random nicknames when it comes to real trouble.

It was almost midnight. Although there was still a lot of traffic on the streets of Manhattan, it was much better than during rush hour. At least Jack was able to get through the Bronx quickly after turning on his police lights and sirens.

The location sent by Finch was near Yonkers City in northern Manhattan. After Jack got off the overpass, he went straight along the Hudson River through River Valley Park and arrived at his destination in less than 20 minutes.

Yonkers is located only 50 kilometers from the heart of Manhattan and is part of the New York metropolitan area.

This area not only has a well-developed highway system, but is also one of the important railway hubs around New York City, and is closely connected to the Hudson River waterway system.

Although Finch only roughly determined the location where Reese's cell phone signal last disappeared, Jack quickly identified the suspicious location after contacting the local state police and police department.

About an hour ago, a car accident occurred not far from a remote dock warehouse. When the local police arrived, they found only a few damaged cars and a dump truck. There were no victims or perpetrators at the scene.

Given that Reese has been tracking his former superior Mark Snow recently, Jack has reason to believe that he accidentally fell into the other party's trap and ended up with a "lucky break".

When Jack and Fosco arrived, several officers were cordoning off the area. Bloodstains and Reese's cell phone, which had been trampled on, were found at the scene, leading local police to classify it as a criminal case.

After making a few phone calls, Jack took over the case as an FBI agent.

The scene of the car accident was quite gruesome. Frosko went to look for the intersection's surveillance footage, while Jack circled the area a few times and roughly pieced together what had happened.

Risser was driving an older Audi A7, presumably following another vehicle, when he was deliberately rammed by a dump truck, commonly known as a "dump truck," at the intersection in front of the warehouse. This can be seen from the short skid marks on the ground; Risser's speed was not high at the time, and he may have only just started moving. The dump truck only lightly tapped its brakes a few times after the impact, directly pushing Risser's Audi sideways towards the parked vehicles on the side of the road.

The Audi A7 took off on the spot, flew sideways and rolled, rolling from front to back over three cars parked on the side of the road, finally coming to rest upside down between two of the cars.

“We got the video, but it’s not very clear.” Fosco ran back to Jack, panting. “The road surveillance cameras at the intersection and the cameras on the upper floor of the warehouse building both captured the incident. It looks like a woman did it.”

"A woman?" Jack asked, though he already knew who she was. Tsk, looks like someone's emotional debt has come knocking.

Jack glanced at the Tesla, which was pinned beneath the Audi, and patted Frosco on the shoulder. "Have someone notify the owner of this car. It has a Sentry mode, so it should have captured a clearer image."

Frosko was left at the scene to continue collecting evidence, mainly to prevent any inconspicuous little things from being overlooked and unintentionally revealing Reese's identity, while Jack returned to the base building first.

After receiving the surveillance video files he sent back in advance, Alice used professional software to enhance their clarity, and by the time Jack arrived, she had even completed multi-angle video editing.

The events described by Jack at the scene were almost identical, with the key difference being that the Audi ended up upside down on the Tesla, and the car's camera clearly captured what happened next.

Upon receiving the news, Jessica also took a temporary leave from the hospital and was picked up by Jie Jie on her way back. Everyone gathered in the conference room to watch the last crucial video.

"First of all, let me clarify that Risser should be out of immediate danger," Jack said before pressing play.

Although she had been warned, Jessica instinctively covered her face to avoid screaming when the video started playing.

Although there was no sound in this footage—intersection surveillance cameras usually don't have microphones—the scene of the sparks flying from the impact, the Audi A7 spinning and taking off, crushing several cars on the side of the road, still had a Hollywood movie special effects vibe.

After the dump truck came to a stop, a graceful figure slowly got out and walked towards the overturned Audi. This video was captured by the intersection's surveillance camera. The light from the nearby streetlights was not enough to see many details, but the curves of her body still indicated that it was a woman.

The video then switched to a close-up, showing footage taken by the Tesla's body cameras after Sentry Mode was triggered, revealing the Tesla had suffered an undeserved misfortune.

Then everyone saw the "killer's" face clearly: a beautiful white woman with a cold and aloof appearance. Although she looked a bit older, she was still quite a beauty.

Although Jack had guessed the other person's identity, he could only pretend not to know for the time being, but he was surprised to recognize the face.

In one episode of Friends, there's a scene that fits the famous joke "Joey doesn't share food." The beautiful woman who eats Joey's fries on their date seems to be the same actress as this one, only she looks younger and cuter in Friends.

The woman, holding a syringe, walked gracefully towards Rither, who was gradually regaining consciousness and struggling to climb out of the driver's seat.

"Long time no see, my love, did you miss me?" As she spoke, she plunged the syringe into her hand.
