Chapter 7: Draco

After all the students had eaten, the food on the table was quietly removed and replaced with the desserts that had been prepared long ago.

Unlike the other three houses who were chatting happily, the atmosphere in Slytherin was very weird. People were just whispering in groups of three or four. Louis and the senior schoolmate were even weirder. They didn't even make eye contact.

He also quite enjoyed this feeling, the feeling of being consciously ignored. He was 100% sure that he could get this hard-earned treatment thanks to the senior sister next to him.

In order to avoid being involved in favors, Louis decided to learn from Xu Shu who entered Cao's camp and made a fortune silently by following his senior sister.

This is a falling roar.

When the dessert also disappeared on the table, Headmaster Dumbledore stood up again and the hall fell silent.

"Well, now that everyone is well fed and well drunk, I want to say a few words to everyone. At the beginning of the term, I want to give you a few points of attention."

"First-year students, please note that no student is allowed to enter the woods on campus. Some of our senior students also need to be aware of this."

As he spoke, Dumbledore's shining eyes swept past the Weasley brothers, "Also, the caretaker, Mr. Filch, asked me to remind everyone not to perform magic in the corridors during class breaks."

"The review of Quidditch players will take place in the second week of this semester. Students interested in joining the house team should contact Madam Hooch."

"Finally, I must tell everyone that anyone who does not want to encounter an accident and a painful death, please do not enter the corridor on the right side of the fourth floor."

Only a few people laughed, but the vast majority looked at Headmaster Dumbledore seriously.

Louis knew what was on the fourth floor.

"Now, before everyone goes to bed, let's sing the school song together."

Dumbledore said loudly.

He flicked his wand lightly, and a long golden ribbon flew out, twisting and swirl- ing in the sky above the high auditorium, forming lines of text.

These are the lyrics to the Hogwarts school song.

"Everyone choose your favorite tune, ready—sing!"

When Louise finished the last verse to the tune of You Shall Return Like Lightning, he realized that only the red-haired twins were still singing. Dumbledore conducted the last few bars for both of them with his wand, and when they finished, he applauded the loudest.

"Music." He wiped his eyes and said, "It's more charming than anything we do here. It's time to go to bed now. Let's all go back to the dormitory."

The big bucktooth with swollen eyes stood up. Louis recognized him as Marcus Flint, a student in his afternoon temporary class. He said, "Freshmen, follow me."

Louis stood up and followed Marcus at the end of the freshman line. He didn't know that this guy was actually the prefect of Slytherin.

The portraits hanging on both sides of the road opened Louis' eyes. He had only seen them in movies in his previous life, but now they appeared in front of his eyes in real life. It was really exciting.

Soon they arrived in front of the Slytherin stone wall. Marcus turned around and said, "Remember the password I told the stone wall. Slytherin's password changes every month. Before the password is changed, everyone will be notified on the notice board in the lounge."

After that, he turned around and said to the stone wall: "Honor."

A stone door appeared in the stone wall. When Louis entered, the cool green color made him feel a little awkward. Unlike the Gryffindor lounge in the movie, the Slytherin lounge was surrounded by green water. Occasionally, a fish would pass by, and its tail would hit the window, making a clacking sound, making the entire green lounge even more eerie.

Slytherin's side is quite big, with many lounges. Generally speaking, there are two people in one room, and there won't be the embarrassing situation like Gryffindor where five people have to squeeze into one room.

Unexpectedly, Louis and Draco Malfoy were grouped together.

He frowned. In his previous life, whether watching movies or reading books, he could never say that he liked this person.

He’s definitely a bad boy, but who can blame him for the good casting?

Even if there is a little kindness left in the heart, it is just Fat Tiger's law. Don't you see that Ron's small mistakes are infinitely magnified, while Draco's small kindness is infinitely exaggerated.

As long as my brother is good-looking, my worldview will be determined by his appearance.

But it can't be said that he hates him. After all, Malfoy has no conflicts with him at the moment.

When Louis' name was called, Marcus' eyes flashed with fear. He didn't know why Professor Snape, who had always doted on him, had punished him to clean up the garbage in the Potions class for a semester.

Even though he thought he couldn't beat Louis, he was still happy to cause Louis some minor trouble. Well, didn't he assign Louis and Draco together?
Louis, who had lived two lives and received elite education since childhood, knew Marcus's little thoughts. He just chuckled and didn't take it seriously.

How can I learn magic when I am with these insects?

The Slytherin dormitory was quite nice, perhaps due to the pure-blood family's sponsorship year after year. At least the spacious bed made Louis somewhat satisfied.

But without sister Diana holding me while sleeping, I always felt like something was missing.

Thinking of Diana, Louis missed her a little. Diana was so good, with her round figure and mature aura... None of these were important. What was important was that Louis was only eleven years old. Even if Diana was divorced now, he could only have the ambition of a pony.

The luggage had been neatly arranged by the house-elves early on. Louis took out various books from the suitcase and neatly arranged them in the small bookcase on the table according to categories.

"Hello, my name is Draco Malfoy, from the Malfoy family of the twenty-eight pure-bloods."

Louis was hesitating about where to put the book "State and Society" when he suddenly heard Draco's slightly arrogant voice.

"Louis Mountbatten, Duke of Cambridge." He introduced himself in a very casual tone, as if he was introducing an unrelated person.

As the favorite godson of the long-lived lady who must not be named, Louis was given the title of Duke of Cambridge at the dinner on the day he was admitted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

I'm sorry, my dear Mediterranean nephew, Louis mourned in his heart.

Draco leaned back slightly, and the arrogance on his face disappeared a little. Even though he always adhered to the concept of "pure blood supremacy", he also knew the status of a Muggle Duke.

More importantly, he had heard about the incident in which Louis fought five people alone on the train. No matter how proud he was, he could understand that the person in front of him was someone he could not afford to offend.

After all, Slytherins are good at judging the situation.

He thought for a moment and then asked, "Hmm... Does Mr. Mountbatten come from a pure-blood family?"
