Chapter 654 Harry's Secret

Dufftown is a Muggle town with a population of less than a thousand people. It is famous for its single malt whiskey. Sirius Black once stayed here briefly when he was a fugitive and was accidentally seen by the Muggles here.

Ada traveled all day to Dufftown in northern Scotland, not to buy whiskey. When she entered the town, the clock tower had already struck midnight.

"I'm glad that I came not too late. You neither left nor froze to death." Ada said. Although she was harsh in her words, her body was honest. She expressed her apology through body language.

Snape didn't go to see Ada. He walked back and forth on the grass in the courtyard, not sure if he was warming up or stretching his numb legs and feet.

He said: "I am a wizard, not an incompetent Muggle. Also, next time we meet, can you please not choose a place like this? That stupid dog was found here. You have to understand that we take a huge risk every time we meet."

Ada nodded like a chick pecking at rice, but it was too late, and Snape, who was pacing back and forth, didn't look at her. Ada's correcting mistakes was demonstrated to the cold air around her.

"I think we won't have to meet in this way soon." Ada said firmly, "Slytherin will also welcome back their headmaster. But they probably won't welcome you, right?"

Snape stopped and looked at Ada. Suddenly, he jumped in front of Ada and asked, "What do you mean?"

"The plan went smoothly. Your nasty Potter baby found the whereabouts of the crown." Ada replied. She deliberately bit the word "nasty" very hard to test Snape's reaction.

"One step closer to killing him." Snape muttered as he stepped back.

For more than a decade, Snape had been looking forward to that moment. No matter who killed Voldemort in the end, as long as the dark devil was dead, it would be fine. The hatred for Voldemort was what kept Snape lurking around him, and it was also one of Snape's motivations to live.

In the moonlight, Ada looked at Snape. The Potions Professor's lips trembled slightly with excitement.

She said, "Yes, there is only the ugly snake left. Once the snake is killed, the Dark Lord will return to his human form."

The most terrifying thing about Voldemort is not his magic, but his Horcruxes. The Dark Lord who cannot be killed means he is invincible. If Voldemort was not so afraid of death and chose to fight Ada to the death, maybe Ada would be the one who is scared now.

"Don't lick it! It's fatal!" Ada said hurriedly when she saw Snape pull out the dagger. She was afraid that Snape would test the knife with his fingers, or lick it with his tongue like a fool. While Snape put away the knife, he looked at Ada with a caring look.

He said, "What does this knife say? You don't look like the type to do something useless like that."

"I asked the goblins to make this knife, which is made of basilisk fangs and venom. Although it looks insignificant, you must be extra careful when using it. If you get a scratch on your skin, you will die. Unless you can find Fawkes before the poison takes effect."

The venom of the basilisk cannot be cured by any medicine. Only the tears of the phoenix can cure it.

There are two phoenixes known to be tamed by wizards in this world, one is Fawkes and the other is Sparks. After Dumbledore's death, Fawkes disappeared, and Sparks is far away in New Zealand, the mascot of the Quidditch team Mottola Macaws.

"It is difficult to cause harm to Nagini using ordinary methods. The Fiery Curse can do the trick, and so can this dagger with basilisk venom." Ada continued to explain that it was because of this dagger that she would be late tonight.

Harry can connect with Voldemort's mind, think what he thinks, and see what he sees. Ada has always been curious about how this dangerous and ingenious connection came about.

Harry's abnormal reaction when coming into contact with the Horcrux made Ada suspicious.

Could it be that... on the night when Voldemort committed the crime, when the curse hit Harry and rebounded to Voldemort, the Dark Lord's soul was cut again, one piece of the soul escaped, and the other piece of the soul attached to the only living thing in the house...

You are lying... you are lying... you are lying... These few short sentences kept echoing in Snape's ears and mind. The Potions Professor had a splitting headache, as if he was trapped by an iron hoop that was tightening continuously.

Suddenly, the severe headache disappeared in an instant, and Snape, sweating all over, looked up at Ada who had her back to him.

"Don't do anything. Don't mess up Dumbledore's arrangements."

Snape knew that Ada had not been able to read his memory, but he also knew that she had gotten the answer she wanted.

Seeing Ada walking out of the castle, Snape ran over anxiously, shouting, "Where are you going?"

"Send him to see Lily Potter." Ada did not stop, but just turned her head and replied with murderous intent.
