The Hogwarts Emerald

Chapter 653 The Relics of the Four Giants

Chapter 653 The Relics of the Four Giants
There are five main towers in Hogwarts: the North Tower where the Divination classroom is located, the West Tower where the Owl Shed is located, the Astronomy Tower where the Astronomy class is located, and the Gryffindor Tower and Ravenclaw Tower.

Ravenclaw Tower is located on the west side of Hogwarts Castle. It is the common room and dormitory of Ravenclaw College. The way to enter the Ravenclaw common room is different from that of Gryffindor. You don't need to answer the password, but you need to answer the question of the eagle-shaped bronze door knocker.

This was Ada's first time in the Ravenclaw common room. She had been wondering if the bronze knocker would ask some cryptic questions like the Sphinx, but she didn't even have the chance to be asked a question by the knocker.

Someone accepted the question before Ada and gave a qualified answer, so Ada followed the crowd and entered the lounge.

The common room was also a large round room with arched windows and blue and bronze silk hangings on the walls. There were stars painted on the domed ceiling and on the dark blue carpet below. There were tables, chairs and bookshelves on the floor, and a white marble statue of Rowena Ravenclaw stood in a niche opposite the door.

The appearance of Ada did not cause panic among the young eagles. The whitewashing efforts of the Daily Prophet and other media were very effective, at least they cleared her of the title of the Dark Lord.

In the eyes of most Hogwarts students (except Slytherin), even though Ada killed Umbridge in front of them, she was not as terrible as rumored.

Many students agree that Ada will not take out her wand against you as long as you don't provoke her.

So when Ada entered the Ravenclaw common room, the little eagles just glanced at her and then went about their business. Compared to Ada, they still felt that books and knowledge were more important, not to mention that she was not a graduate of Ravenclaw.

Ravenclaws are proud of their house's famous names, such as Laverne de Montmorency, an outstanding apothecary who invented several love potions and appeared on Chocolate Frog cards.

There are also people like Quirinus Quirrell and Gilderoy Lockhart, whom Ada is familiar with, who have tarnished the reputation of Ravenclaw.

Of course, Ravenclaw has had its share of setbacks. After all, not all outstanding people come from here.

Like Bridget Wenlock, a famous arithmetician who discovered the magical properties of the number seven.

Wenlock was born in Dingworth, Cornwall, and entered Hogwarts in 1213. Many people mistakenly thought she was a smart Ravenclaw, but in fact she was a Hufflepuff.

The two houses even had a fight over this, and Gabriel Truman from Hufflepuff even had a wizard duel with a prefect from Ravenclaw.

Ida didn't know the outcome of the duel, but she heard that Truman received a box of coconut ice cream as a gift from Professor Sprout. This was told to her by Cedric Diggory, the schoolboy.

As long as it doesn't involve knowledge, books, wisdom, outstanding people, etc., the young eagles are usually very low-key, so Ada doesn't have many acquaintances here, and only knows the class leader here.

But after looking around, Ada didn't see any familiar faces. Just when Ada thought she was going to ask someone at random, a singing voice sounded in her ears.

"Esmeralda Drizzt, I always hear Ginny talking about you," the girl said. "She likes you very much."

Following the sound, I saw that the girl had waist-length hair, very light eyebrows, and bulging eyes, which made her always look surprised.

The girl's wand was tucked behind her left ear, which made Ada recognize her at once.

Luna Lovegood, she is Ginny's good friend, people in school prefer to call Luna "crazy girl". In fact, Miss Lovegood is not crazy, she just believes in some things that ordinary people don't want to believe, she is just a little different from ordinary people.

Genius goes to the left, madman goes to the right, and there is often only a fine line between the two.

"Hello, Luna," Ada said, "I'm looking for Ms. Grey, have you seen her?"

That’s why Ada showed up in the Ravenclaw common room. She wanted to have a chat with the Ravenclaw ghost. Literally, because the other person was a ghost.

Luna nodded, her big silver eyes looking dazed, and she said, "I know where she is. Come with me."

After saying that, Luna took Ada out of the common room and came to an empty classroom in the main building of the castle. Ms. Grey was standing in front of the window. She looked very tall. Ada walked slowly towards Ms. Grey, but Luna had already disappeared. When Ada walked to the window, Ms. Grey lowered her head and floated away a little. She didn't seem to like to interact with relatively unfamiliar people.

"Hello, Helena." Ada greeted, trying to ease the awkward atmosphere.

Ms. Grey, or Helena, must have been very beautiful when she was alive, with waist-length hair and floor-length gowns, but she was also a bit arrogant and looked down on others.

"Is there something?" Helena's tone was not enthusiastic at all and revealed impatience.

Ada was not the first person to know her identity. Everyone who knew her identity was for the crown of Ravenclaw, hoping to get clues from her. After all, Helena was the daughter of the great Rowena Ravenclaw.

"If it's about the missing crown, I'm afraid there's nothing I can do." Helena said coldly.

At Hogwarts, whenever students need help, the ghosts of each college will lend a helping hand. Except for Peeves, he will only cause trouble, and he is not a ghost.

However, Helena was the ghost of Ravenclaw College, and Ada was from Gryffindor and a dropout, so without thinking about what Ada would say next, Helena rejected her directly.

Ada raised her eyebrows and smiled playfully. She said, "Helena, I know you have been to Albania, and I also know that you hid your mother's crown in a hollow tree."

For a moment, Helena's face flashed a hint of surprise, and Ada's next words shocked her. Ghosts don't change their expressions, but Helena gives people that feeling.

"I also know that the crown is no longer in the Kingdom of Eagles. It is now in Hogwarts." Ada continued.

Helena forced herself to calm down. She stammered, "You—my mother's crown—what on earth do you want to say!"

"You took the crown away from Hogwarts, and the boy who tricked you into revealing the whereabouts of the crown... brought it back." Ada said slowly, "And I destroyed the Ravenclaw crown."

As she spoke, Ada took out an old wooden box and showed the damaged crown to Helena.

"My mother's crown! He defiled it with black magic!" Helena roared angrily, making the wound on her chest look even more hideous.

After venting her anger, Helena calmed down, floated in the air, and looked down at the crown in the box.

She whispered, "It's ruined, if I didn't run away with it...if I didn't want to be smarter and more famous than my mother..."

"In fact, except for the sword of Gryffindor, all the relics of the founder of Hogwarts were defiled by him with dark magic." Ada said, "Hufflepuff's gold cup, your mother and Helga are good friends, you must know that. There is also Slytherin's ring and locket."

The milky white Helena was shocked. She was furious: "How dare he! How dare he do such a thing!"

"What would a person who does all kinds of evil dare not do?" Ada answered with a question, "I found them again and cleared away the black magic on them, but... they are all like this now."

Helena looked at the crown in the box again. Her mother's crown had become broken. Her mother was not able to see her for the last time before she died. It was all her fault.

"When the time is right, I will return the relics I have collected to the common rooms of the colleges for future generations to admire." Ada continued, "The Four Giants are worthy of respect from future generations. I hope their relics can inspire future generations."

After saying that, Ada walked out of the classroom. Before leaving the classroom, she left a sentence: "If I were you, I would come back with Barrow, but I would never choose Barrow."

Only a ghost was left in the classroom, floating there leisurely with a sad face.
