Chapter 2: The first successful transaction

After a flash of blue light, Ryan appeared on the streets of a small town with a schoolbag on his back. There were few people on the street, and there were no zombies as he had imagined.

Ryan looked around the town curiously. There were all kinds of debris placed on the road as roadblocks. At the end of the road in the center of the town, he could clearly see a house with a yard, and there seemed to be people moving around inside.

He poured out the oil from the windproof lighter and smeared it on the bandage. Then he found a long wooden stick with a fork in the front, wrapped the bandage around it, and lit it. Finally, he poked the torch directly on the zombie's head.

However, after Ryan stuck a forked long wooden stick into his head, he inserted the other end diagonally into the ground to form a solid triangle. It was obvious that this half-zombie without legs had no ability to escape the flames and hurt Ryan.

As time went by, the flames gradually became smaller and the zombie's arm movements became smaller and smaller. Finally, the flames disappeared and the zombie stopped moving.

Ryan poked the zombie's head with a stick, and it fell off suddenly, and then the whole body turned into black ash. Ryan was startled by this situation, and then he remembered that the zombies in the game that were burned by fire would turn into ash.

This should be considered the first monster killed, Ryan thought, but unfortunately the system is not the type of monster-killing and leveling type, and the zombie left nothing but a pile of ashes.

After passing this roadblock, Ryan finally stood in front of the door of his destination. He raised his hand and pressed the doorbell, and heard a series of tinkling sounds coming from inside the house, as if someone stumbled and knocked over a lot of things.

The door opened, and a middle-aged man with an iron pot on his head and a baseball bat stood at the door.

"Is it the zombie who rang the doorbell? Where are you? Come out quickly."

The man looked down at Ryan, and Ryan also found that the man's eyes were of different sizes, revealing a sense of mental abnormality. This should be the plant breeding scientist in the game, Crazy Dave.

And I may go to many places and meet many people in the future. Maybe I can find some plants that have never existed in this world. In the future, we can help each other."

Dave quickly grabbed the tacos and hot sauce. "Oh my god, tacos and hot sauce. I haven't seen them in a long time, ever since the damn zombies surrounded this town. It's a pity that these are not exactly what I want, but it's better than mushy peas every day."

After listening to Ryan's request, Dave took out three bags and a key and handed them to Ryan, saying, "Ah, you are a smart man. You can come over there next time and don't have to run so much."
