Chapter 14 Three-Headed Dog

"We are now at the entrance of the Charms classroom." Ryan said to Ron, "Sure enough, my worries are justified, but do wizards from pure-blood families usually break their promises when facing a duel?"

"Not at all," Ron retorted, "Only the Slytherin snakes would do that, like our Weasley family.
I would never do such a thing."

"A Weasley family? I think I may have met one. A Ministry of Magic official named Arthur Weasley who guided me to the wizarding world helped us a lot. He is really a warm and kind person."

"Thank you for the compliment to my father." Ron smiled at Ryan in a friendly manner.

"It seems we got rid of him." Hermione wiped the sweat from her head and said, "I told you so..."

Before she finished, Harry interrupted her: "We have to get back to the dormitory quickly. We can't stay here."

From the look on Harry's face, he probably thought that Hermione was right, but he didn't want to admit it to Hermione's face.

As they stood up, a door in the corridor opened and Peeves floated out, screaming with joy when he saw them.

"Annoying freshmen, wandering around in the middle of the night. Tsk, tsk, tsk, naughty, naughty, you will be arrested."

Just as Hermione was about to step forward to beg for mercy, Ryan grabbed her and ran forward, shouting at Harry: "He is Peeves, begging for mercy is useless, run quickly."

Harry was still a little dazed, but Ron reacted and grabbed him and ran along the corridor. At this time, everyone didn't care about hiding their footsteps and ran along the corridor with all their strength. Peeves shouted from behind, "Students are not sleeping, in the corridor of Charms class!"

The four of them fled to the end of the corridor, only to find that the door at the end of the corridor was locked. Filch's footsteps were heard from the corridor behind.

"It's over!" Ron whimpered. They pushed the door desperately. Ryan was ready to be caught. After all, compared with the three-headed dog, Filch seemed more amiable.

"Go away." Hermione suddenly rushed to the door. She snatched Harry's wand, knocked on the lock, and whispered, "Alahoo!" The lock clicked and the door opened.

Ryan's face changed suddenly, and before he could say anything, he was pulled in by Hermione.

He was sad to find that women of this age developed earlier than men, and he was unexpectedly pulled into the room by Hermione. Then, with a bang, the door was closed.

As expected, Peeves is Peeves. Except for a little respect for the professor and the Bloody Baron, he will ignore everyone in this school. Filch was teased by Peeves but got nothing. He was so angry that he kept cursing, but finally left helplessly.

Harry breathed, "He must have thought this door was locked and we were finally safe."

"I don't think so, look back." Ryan said with a trembling voice.

Lu Wei, a big dog who probably has the bloodline of the three-headed dog of hell, appeared in front of everyone.

They were facing the eyes of a monstrous dog, so big that it filled all the space from ceiling to floor. It had three heads, three pairs of eyes that rolled around in a vicious way, three noses that twitched and quivered in their direction, and three drooling mouths with saliva hanging like sticky strings from its yellowed teeth. It stood there motionless, all six eyes staring at them.

Ryan knew that the dog would fall asleep as long as it heard music. At first, he thought it would be easier to deal with the dog knowing this weakness. But when he arrived at the scene, he found that when you face such a huge beast, you can't sing at all.

He glanced down and saw, as expected, a door leading to the basement was stepped on by the dog. This should be Dumbledore's test of Harry. It was a bit suspicious that Peeves deliberately drove them in this direction today.

At least the headmaster should be able to command the ghosts in Hogwarts. If he really doesn't want people to come to this place, he can order the ghosts to drive the students who are close to this place to another direction. Think about the levels in the original book. Except for the magic mirror at the end, the others are too trivial. It really doesn't seem to be used to deal with the Dark Lord. Moreover, those levels just happen to be the advantages of the three challengers. Isn't it a bit too coincidental?

But fortunately, this is just the beginning of the main storyline, so there is no need to worry about being considered a candidate for a hero by the principal. At least Neville was not considered a hero in the original text.

At this time, the door lock was twisted with a click. It turned out that Harry turned the door handle. Then they quickly went out and closed the door. Fortunately, the dog was tied to the wall with an iron chain and could not be chased out. Then the four of them ran desperately upstairs to Gryffindor Tower.

On the way, Ryan quietly put the Sunshine Crystal in his pocket back to the grocery store. He had prepared it just in case, and he hoped to buy time for his escape by using the Sunshine Crystal flash bomb.

They ran to the dormitory door on the eighth floor smoothly. The Fat Lady had already returned. She curiously asked the four disheveled people how they ended up in such a state.

But no one wanted to talk, and after using the password to open the door, he stumbled back to the lounge and collapsed on the sofa in the lounge.

The four of them were silent for a while, and Ron broke the silence: "Why would the school put such a violent beast in the castle? Aren't they afraid of something happening?"

Hermione caught her breath and stood up. "Can't you see it's standing on a trapdoor? It should be guarding something."

Then she glared at the three boys. "I hope you're feeling lucky for today. We all almost got bitten to death - or worse, expelled from school. Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to bed."

Well, as an innocent person implicated, it is completely understandable that Hermione is so angry, especially since this adventure almost cost everyone their lives.

After sitting for a few more minutes, the three of them went upstairs together, said good night to each other at the dormitory door, and returned to their respective dormitories.

Ryan felt sore all over, so he didn't wash up, took off his clothes and went straight to bed.

On the bed, he reflected on his behavior today. It turned out that he was a little reckless. The most important thing was that he was not strong enough. Even though he knew what would happen next, he was powerless to change it.

Thinking of this, he made up his mind. He had always been afraid to face the strange world. So he did not open the door to the new world in the grocery store. It seemed that he had no choice but to go now.

After setting a new goal, Ryan turned over and slowly fell asleep.
