Chapter 13 Midnight Duel
After Madam Hooch took Neville away, Malfoy began to provoke the Gryffindor students. Ryan found it hard to understand how a person who boasted of noble blood in the wizarding world could treat others at the same level as street thugs.

Afterwards, Malfoy flew up with Neville's Memory Ball and challenged Harry Potter. Hermione tried to stop Harry Potter's reckless behavior of flying up with him, but failed.

After a tense aerial chase, Harry Potter finally got back Neville's Memory Ball, but it was also taken away by Professor McGonagall.

On the way back to the castle, Hermione was a little worried, "They won't really expel Harry, will they?" "Probably not," Ryan replied. "Harry made a small mistake at most. No normal school would expel someone for such a small problem."

"How could Harry do this? Didn't he think about how many points he would lose before he flew up?"

Ryan stopped and turned to look at Hermione: "I know you can't accept Harry's behavior because of the honor of the college. But in that situation, Malfoy's behavior of bullying the weak is really disgusting, and Harry is just out of righteous indignation. I don't think it's appropriate to blame him for his righteous behavior."

Hermione said: "You may have a point, but I can't understand why you boys are so reckless. Can't you let the professors handle it?"

After saying that, Hermione shook her head and walked towards the Great Hall.

Because flying class was the last class of the day, some people had come out to eat in the hall. When Ryan walked into the cafeteria slowly, he saw Harry and Ron already sitting at the table, and Malfoy was talking to him.

Ryan saw Hermione next to them, so he moved over and heard Hermione say to Harry, "You can't hang around outside at night." After being scolded by the two of them for a few words, she left angrily.

Ryan walked over and sat next to Harry and Ron. Ron asked Ryan, "Are you planning to try to stop us like Hermione did?"

"No, I'm not." Ryan denied. "It's just that you have never thought about the possibility that Malfoy would not show up and tell the teachers to trick you. After all, Ron, you always say that Slytherins are very cunning."

"No, that's impossible." Ron's face twitched. "The Malfoy family is one of the oldest pure-blood wizard families. He wouldn't be so shameless as to play tricks in a wizard duel that he himself initiated."

Ryan looked at Harry, and Harry said, "I think what Ryan said makes sense. This possibility is not impossible, but if he goes and we don't, we will be laughed at by him for the rest of our lives."

Suddenly, Harry seemed to have thought of something. "Ryan, I saw that you cast a powerful spell when you rescued Neville today. Why don't you come with us? That way, we can have one more person to keep an eye on the teacher."

Ryan thought about it and realized that today was a very important main mission. In order to get the deflection point, it was necessary to establish a good relationship with the Son of Fortune in this plane.

Thinking of this, Ryan agreed to Harry's request, and they agreed to meet in the common room at 11:30 pm.

Ryan felt a little excited. After all, how could he not experience the traditional Gryffindor project of the Hogwarts Night Tour? Besides, even if he was caught, he would only be deducted a few points for the night tour and do some after-school labor. It was not a big problem.

After returning to the common room, Neville had returned from the hospital. It seemed that his injuries this time were less serious than those in the original film. After seeing Ryan coming back, he grabbed his hand and stuttered to thank him, and Ryan comforted him.

At 11:30 pm, when all the roommates were asleep, Ryan quietly opened the door and saw Harry and Ron from the opposite room also coming out.

After greeting each other, they quietly walked towards the portrait aisle, and the light closest to the aisle turned on. Hermione sat there in a cute pink pajamas, frowning. "You actually did this, especially you Ryan, how did you get mixed up with them?"

Ryan: "Relax, night outings are also part of Hogwarts life. Look at those seniors, how many of them have never gone out at night? After all, we have to learn to adapt to the local customs. Moreover, as an important part of wizard life, I have never seen a wizard duel."

"Shut up, or I'll write a letter to your parents." Hermione followed them through the hole. "Don't you think we should beat Slytherin and win the house cup? I can't watch you lose all the points I worked so hard to earn at once." "It's okay, if we really have to lose points, I'll work with you to earn them back, I swear."

The two men were bickering as they crawled through the passage.

"Okay, I don't care about you anymore." She turned around and prepared to go back to the dormitory, only to find that the painting she was facing was empty. The Fat Lady went out to visit friends late at night, and Hermione was locked outside Gryffindor Castle.

"Oh my God, what should I do?" Hermione asked.

"That's your problem," Ron said. "We have to go, we're going to be late."

"You have already violated the school rules, why don't we go together? At least it's safer than standing here." Ryan said to Hermione. Sometimes, the best way to avoid being reported is to drag the accuser into the water.

"Why?" Ron exclaimed in a low voice.

"At least two people can monitor the entire corridor. In case the night watchman really shows up, we won't be able to hide."

"Okay," Harry said, turning back, "Just keep quiet, or we'll get caught on the way."

After walking nervously for ten minutes, they arrived at the exhibition room on the third floor. Various medals in the room sparkled in the moonlight.

Harry and Ron walked into the showroom, while Ryan and Hermione squatted at the door, occasionally sticking half of their heads out to observe the situation in the corridor.

Time passed minute by minute, and Ryan saw a cat jumping out from the stairs in the corridor, followed by a limping figure. It seemed to be Filch.

Ryan patted Hermione, who also widened her eyes nervously, and they slowly retreated back to the showroom to inform Harry. Then the four of them tiptoed towards the door away from Filch, and then walked along the corridor full of armor.

They didn't walk fast to prevent Filch from hearing them, but Filch seemed to have discovered something and his footsteps were getting closer.

Finally, Ron tripped over his armor in the tense situation, and the sound of the armor falling to the ground echoed throughout the corridor.

The four people didn't care about hiding anymore, they ran forward along the corridor quickly.

After going up and down the stairs and through several corridors, they finally couldn't run anymore.

Everyone bent down and held their knees, panting. Ron asked, "Where are we?"

Ryan looked around and felt a jolt in his heart, because this was near the fourth floor Charms classroom, and the forbidden area guarded by the three-headed dog Fluffy was nearby. Is the plot's inertia so strong?
