Hogwarts Raven's Claw

Chapter 72: A New Semester Full of Smoke

Chapter 72: A New Semester Full of Smoke

After all, the students of Ravenclaw are not the little lions of Gryffindor. Although they are all very emotional and act as if they are about to stand up and protest to Dumbledore, not a single one of them actually takes any action.

Everyone knew that it would be useless to protest to Dumbledore about this matter. Dumbledore would definitely favor Gryffindor, as could be seen at last year's year-end dinner.

Seeing his classmates looking very angry, Franklin knew that he might have been in trouble, so he hurriedly pulled Mike out of the restaurant.

"Ah, it's a pity for Mr. Weasley. He is the head of the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Department of the Ministry of Magic, but his own son actually drove a Muggle car that had been illegally modified with magic through the city. He has been suspended for investigation. It's hard to say whether he can keep his job." Franklin was a little sad. Mr. Weasley was very nice to him.

"Don't worry, Mr. Weasley will be fine. The suspension is only temporary, and he will be reinstated after this storm is over." Mike stuffed the last bit of bread in his mouth and muttered.

"How is it possible?" Franklin's eyes widened in surprise. "He is the director of the Ministry of Magic's Muggle Artifacts Department, and he secretly hid a prohibited item like a flying car at home. This is embezzlement. According to the laws of the Ministry of Magic, he will be imprisoned in Azkaban."

Mike carefully smoothed out the wrinkles on his clothes. He had just walked in a hurry and his clothes were a little messy. This would not do. The next class would be Professor Flitwick's Charms class, and he had to give the old man enough face.

Mike didn't care much about Franklin's question and answered nonchalantly, "If it was a Mudblood like you or me who committed such a thing, we would definitely be imprisoned in Azkaban. But Mr. Weasley is different. He is a pure blood, and one of the most prestigious 28 pure blood families."

After saying that, he ignored Franklin and walked towards the Charms classroom at a quick pace.

After hearing Mike's answer, Franklin stood in the corridor in a daze for a long time. Mike's words just now gave him a great shock.

He has lived in the United States since he was a child and has long been aware of discrimination against Chinese people. However, he is only a 12-year-old child after all, and his mind is still immature.

This time, Mike used Mr. Weasley's story to show Franklin for the first time the cruel discrimination based on blood relationship in the wizarding world, which shocked him greatly.

When he came to his senses, Mike had already walked a long way away. Franklin gritted his teeth and chased after the figure in the distance.

Professor Flitwick's class was very boring, this was Mike's personal experience at this time.

The second-year spells course was useless to Mike. Although those strange spells were very interesting, they had little effect on Mike's strength improvement.

But after all, it is the class of my own dean, so I still have to give him the most basic respect.

Mike sat upright in his seat with a smile on his face, as if Professor Flitwick's class was very interesting and he enjoyed it. Whenever Professor Flitwick asked a question, Mike would always raise his hand, and Professor Flitwick was very cooperative, ignoring the Slytherin students at the next table who raised their hands high, and let Mike answer every time.

The second-year Charms course was naturally no problem for Mike. Every time he answered, Professor Flitwick would cheer loudly and then give him extra points. In just one class, Mike earned 50 points for Ravenclaw. This was absolutely impossible in previous years. The professors were very restrained in adding and deducting points. It was very good to get or points. It seemed that after what happened at the dinner last year, Professor Flitwick was also very angry and was ready to favor his students to compete for this year's house cup.

However, if you do it on the first day, I will do it on the fifteenth day. The retribution for Professor Flitwick's actions soon appeared.

The afternoon class was Professor Snape's Potions class, and it was taught by Ravenclaw and Slytherin students. Snape must have known what happened in the morning's Charms class, and he followed Flitwick's example and only let Slytherin students answer questions, while ignoring the hands raised by Ravenclaw students.

What's even worse is that Snape is still looking for trouble with Ravenclaw. Franklin, a rough-handed guy, has become Snape's main target. After one class, all the 50 points that Mike earned in the morning were deducted, while Slytherin was given 20 points. It's not that Snape was unwilling to give Slytherin extra points, but Malfoy and his friends were really disappointing. Except for some easy points, they almost didn't answer any questions correctly.

Franklin was very dissatisfied with Snape's behavior towards him. If Michael hadn't stopped him, he would probably have fought with Snape in class.

This kind of scene not only happens in Mike's class, but in almost all classes in other grades. Professors are crazy about giving extra points to students they like and crazy about deducting points from students they hate.

After class, when Mike passed by the four hourglasses representing the four major colleges, he found that the various colored gems representing the college points were constantly increasing and decreasing, and the amplitude was very large.

Mike shook his head. It seemed that the consequences of Dumbledore forcing Harry to cheat at the end-of-year dinner last year were very serious. Now the professors of the college have all torn their faces. The smell of gunpowder is so strong at the beginning of this semester. It is hard to imagine how tragic the scene will be at the end of the semester.

The professors are fighting each other, and their students are naturally the same.

After a whole day of classes, students from the four major colleges also had many fights in private. Of course, fighting was impossible, and being caught would mean deduction of points and detention. No one except the stupid lion of Gryffindor would be willing to do this, at least not for the time being.

Therefore, most of the conflicts among students nowadays are still based on verbal attacks.

Mike saw with his own eyes that the male student union president, whom he had met once that night, was surrounded and scolded in a corner by the female student union who was from Ravenclaw and a group of Ravenclaw seniors and juniors. The reason was that the male student union president was from Gryffindor, and last year Gryffindor snatched the house cup from Ravenclaw by cheating.

Mike also heard some of their conversation as he passed by them.

The senior and junior students kept uttering all kinds of dirty words that Mike had never heard of. Their cursing was so fancy and their words so gorgeous that Mike felt inferior to them.

The male student union president who was surrounded by a group of girls was desperate. These were all girls, and he couldn't use force. He also wanted to escape, but if he wanted to get out of the crowd, he would inevitably have physical contact with those girls.

Whenever he touched those girls, they would shout that they were molesting him, forcing him to cover his ears and squat on the ground and take the scolding.
