Hogwarts Raven's Claw

Chapter 58 Burrow

Chapter 58 Burrow
"You mean the Weasleys? Of course I know. And you want chocolate? Just four more silver Sickles and you--"

Before the conductor could finish his words, Mike went up to the second floor of the Knight Bus, leaving the conductor standing there at a loss.

There are several single beds on the second floor of the Knight Bus, and some hemp ropes are placed on the beds. These should be the seat belts in the wizarding world. They are really simple.

Mike called the conductor up, collected the pillows from other empty beds and used them to support his back, then asked him to help tie Mike securely to the bed, and then he ordered the driver to drive.

There was another deafening bang, and the Knight Bus started.

Mike only felt a strong push on his back, and the scenery outside the window turned into a stream of light flying backwards. The speed of this magic car was really amazing. Compared with it, the flying car modified by Mr. Weasley was simply rubbish.

As the sky gradually darkened, the Knight Bus finally arrived at its destination, the Burrow.

Mike was helped off the bus by the conductor. The driver was driving in a really wild way. Drifting was normal, but have you ever seen a car turn right at the spot? This magic car was obviously cast with space magic, so there was no need to worry about obstacles, but the driver still drove like a fool.

Mike swore that he would never take the Knight Bus again and would just sit in the Fireplace. This experience was really terrible.

Suppressing the nausea in his stomach, Mike looked up and saw a four-story building with an extremely crooked and unscientific structure.

The Weasley family's burrow seems magical to Muggles and is very consistent with their impression of a wizard's residence. However, in the eyes of wizards, it is an extremely poor house.

Wizards are also human beings, and their aesthetic tastes are not much different from those of normal Muggles. They also like ornately decorated villas and classical and luxurious manors. Therefore, a real wizard's residence should be like Professor Flitwick and Malfoy Manor, which looks no different from ordinary Muggle buildings on the outside, but has a lot of secrets inside.

As Mike was looking around the Burrow, a little red-haired girl poked her head out of the door, and when she saw Mike standing outside the house, she quickly retreated. Not long after, the Weasley brothers and Franklin came out.

"Mike, why are you here at this time?" George opened his arms and hugged Mike and said, "Where's Errol? Why hasn't he come back?"

After hugging everyone who came to greet him, Mike explained, "Are you talking about the old owl with almost no hair? I left it at Professor Flitwick's house to rest. You are so stingy that you actually used such an old owl to deliver letters. Aren't you afraid that it will die of exhaustion on the way? You earn..."

Before Mike could finish his words, George covered his mouth with his hand.

He glanced nervously in the direction of the burrow, and when he saw no one noticed, he breathed a sigh of relief and raised his index finger to his mouth as a gesture to keep quiet.

As soon as Mike saw him like this, he knew that the Weasley brothers must not have told the Weasleys about their partnership and made money, or at least concealed the amount of money they made. Of course, Mike also understood their actions. With Mrs. Weasley's temper, she would definitely confiscate all of the nearly 6,000 gold galleons they made in just one year, so he nodded to George.

George then let go of his hand that was covering Mike's mouth. He wanted to say something to Mike, but he saw Mike made an OK gesture to them and walked towards the Burrow, so he had to follow him with everyone.

As soon as I walked into the Burrow, the aroma of grilled sausages filled the air. Mrs. Weasley was waving her wand in front of the stove, and pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils were flying in the air. One sausage after another was grilled until both sides were browned, and then automatically floated into the prepared dinner plate on the side.

After grilling the last sausage, Mrs. Weasley finally noticed Mike. She wiped her hands on her apron and said with a smile, "You must be Mike, come and sit down. George and Fred have told me about your situation. You have earned 200 gold galleons in one semester. It's really amazing. When can you invite that kid named Dolphin to be our guest? I know about the Carrow family. They are very pitiful."

After hearing what Mrs. Weasley said, Mike couldn't help but be shocked. 6000 gold Galleons were said to be 200 gold Galleons. The Weasley brothers were so stingy even to their own mother.

He despised the Weasley brothers in his heart but did not show it on his face. He smiled and replied, "You are too kind. It is because of George and Fred that we can make money. By the way, I also brought gifts for everyone this time. I almost forgot."

As he spoke, Mike took out gift after gift from the bag of the Traceless Stretching Charm. Mrs. Weasley originally wanted to be polite, but as Mike took out more and more things, all of which she had never seen before, her attention was drawn to the gifts.

Not only her, but everyone in the room gathered around unconsciously, even the little red-haired girl who was hiding on the second floor and secretly watching them at the beginning was led down.

“Here, this is for you, recipes from all over the world. I think you will like it.

This is for you, Franklin, the latest Game Boy handheld and 20 matching cartridges, not bad, isn't it?

This is for you, Ginny. It's a sterling silver hairpin. Don't be shy, come and get it. Look, there are pearls on it. Here you go..."

Looking at the remaining remote control cars on the ground, Mike remembered that there seemed to be someone missing here, so he asked, "Where is Mr. Weasley?"

However, no one paid any attention to him.

Mrs. Weasley was happily flipping through the recipes. As soon as Ginny got her hairpin, she hurried back to the second floor, probably to look in the mirror. Ron and the Weasley brothers threw aside the MP3 players that Mike gave them, and curiously gathered around Franklin to study the Gameboy handheld game console.

Mike spread his hands and shrugged his shoulders. Seeing that no one paid attention to him, he had to sit down and taste the grilled sausages that Mrs. Weasley had just made. It's true that what Mrs. Weasley made was quite delicious, and it didn't sound like something made by a British wizard at all.

Just as Mike was eating with gusto, the magic clock on the wall suddenly made a loud musical sound, and a pointer with Mr. Weasley's photo on it turned to the position marking home.

Then a slightly plump middle-aged man with red hair pushed open the door.

"Wow, why is the house so lively today?" Mr. Weasley put his hat on the shoe cabinet at the door and asked in surprise when he looked at everyone in the room.

Then he noticed the things in everyone's hands, opened his mouth in surprise, and said in a trembling voice: "Where... where did these things come from?"
