Hogwarts Raven's Claw
Chapter 10 Malfoy's Provocation
Chapter 10 Malfoy's Provocation
"Poor child, I heard about your story." Professor Flitwick looked at Mike sympathetically, "I assure you that no one in Hogwarts would dare to discriminate against your bloodline."
Mike was stunned for a moment when he heard the voice, and then his eyes turned red.
He immediately realized that Professor Flitwick was talking about what happened in the Leaky Cauldron. He didn't expect that it would reach the professor's ears so quickly. The British wizarding world is really small.
Mike was almost forgetting about this matter. He always thought that he was not a person who held grudges and he would usually take revenge on the spot if there was a grudge.
But he still has to pretend to be good at it. Fortunately, decades of life experience have given him perfect acting skills.
Flitwick's heart almost broke when he saw Mike's aggrieved look. He thought that he was just like the child in front of him, discriminated against by people around him because of his fairy bloodline.
However, he had a very bad temper back then. No matter who it was, if Flitwick felt that he had offended him, he would take out his wand and hit him with a flaming fire.
It was not until he won the duel championship that his temper gradually improved, because no one dared to offend him anymore.
"Oh, poor child. It's okay, it's okay now." Professor Flitwick reached out and stroked Mike's short golden hair.
"Thank you, Dean Flitwick. You are the first person who is kind to me." Mike said, wiping away non-existent tears.
After another round of greetings, Mike said goodbye to Professor Flitwick.
"Thank you very much, Dean Flitwick!" Mike bowed deeply to Flitwick. "Can I come to you for advice again in the future?"
"Of course kid, the door of my office is always open for you. Come on, or you will miss lunch." Flitwick smiled and nodded at Mike, and seemed to have thought of something, and winked at Mike mischievously, "By the way, Mike, don't experiment with magic in the lounge, it will make a mess. You can go to the eighth floor and take a look, I think you will get something."
"Thank you, Dean."
After saying goodbye to Flitwick, Mike walked alone on the way to the restaurant. The previous wave of sales was well worth it.
Not only did he get a solution to the weak power of his spells, but he also got a promise from Flitwick that he would support him.
The most important thing was that Flitwick gave him permission.
The 8th floor is where the Room of Requirement is located, and Flitwick's last words undoubtedly hinted that he could enter the Room of Requirement. In this way, he would not have to worry about Dumbledore suspecting him after entering the Room of Requirement.
This is not because Mike is overly cautious. According to the original book, Hogwarts Castle itself is a magical object, and the headmaster himself is likely to have the right to monitor all the facilities of the school.
As he was thinking about it, Mike had already walked into the restaurant.
There were many little wizards eating in the restaurant. Mike found a table and sat down. Steaming food immediately appeared on the plate in front of him: beef stew with potatoes and white bread.
"Mike! What have you been doing these days? We've been wanting to find you."
Mike looked towards the sound and saw the three Saviors standing in front of him.
"Sorry, Hogwarts is so interesting. I've been exploring it these days, although I haven't even finished exploring the Ravenclaw common room yet." Mike spread his hands and shrugged his shoulders jokingly.
Hermione obviously didn't believe this and said, "I think some people have been busy flirting with seniors these days!"
"I didn't, I didn't, don't talk nonsense." Mike hurriedly denied.
"You're lying. I saw you and those senior girls kissing each other in the library!"
Mike didn't expect Hermione to care about such things, and teased: "Oh? Why are you paying so much attention to me? Do you like me?"
"No! It just happened, you...don't talk nonsense!" Hermione's face turned red in an instant, and she was about to run away.
But a young man with platinum blond hair stopped her.
"Wow! Come and see, Miss Know-It-All from Gryffindor and the blond boy from Ravenclaw are together!" "What are you doing here? Malfoy!" Harry yelled at Draco.
"Get out of my way! Is this how your parents taught you to treat a lady? You undisciplined beast." Mike stood up and stared at Draco viciously.
It seemed that this look reminded Draco of the embarrassing scene on the train, and his face turned pale.
"Madam? Can a woman with such big teeth be called a lady?" Draco said with saliva flying. "But she is a good match for you, Mike. You two dirty mudbloods!"
Mike was also happy when he heard the last three words. He had just put up the umbrella of protection when someone came to his door to help him establish his authority.
He took out his wand, pointed it at Draco and said, "I'll give you a chance to reorganize your words."
Draco was not at all afraid. He simply did not believe that a Muggle Mudblood like Mike could learn so much magic in just a few days. As for him, he was a pure-blood aristocrat and had been learning magic since he was a child.
"Fuck!" Draco said word by word.
"All petrified!"
A beam of light that was almost invisible to the naked eye hit Draco, and Draco's body stiffened, his face still maintaining that ferocious expression, and his body appeared gray like stone. This was Mike's petrification spell.
The petrification spell just now used Mike's emotions, which was not a difficult task for Mike who had been training for half a year. The effect of this technique of emotional release was also very good.
The power of the spell has obviously become stronger. The previous petrification spell did not have such a luster, and this is the sign that the petrification spell has become popular.
Seeing Draco being petrified, everyone around exclaimed.
"You will be expelled! You are not allowed to cast spells in the hall. We should go and tell the professor!" Hermione was so anxious that tears came out. The poor child did not understand how vicious the three words "Mudblood" contained.
Mike didn't care about this. In a place like Hogwarts, discrimination based on bloodline was against political correctness. He was more concerned about the fact that emotional casting was a great addition to spells, which also indirectly confirmed his conjecture about the nature of magic: magic power is like chakra, a fusion of physical strength and spiritual strength. Therefore, when emotions are high, the strength of the spell will increase, and the magic power of the young wizard will increase as he grows older.
Besides, he has someone to back him up now.
Sure enough, not long after, Professor Flitwick arrived in the hall on his short legs.
"I want to see which little bastard dares to slap me in the face! Aha! Draco Malfoy! You are really capable, just like your damn father!" Professor Flitwick was very angry. He had just made a promise with Mike, but he didn't expect that someone would slap him in the face right after.
As for the fact that Mike cast the petrification spell on Draco, he chose to ignore it. If it were him, he would have done something even more extreme.
"How dare you! How dare you violate the school rules so brazenly!" At this time, Professor McGonagall and Snape also arrived. Professor McGonagall was obviously furious. He never expected that just a few days after the start of the school term, there would be freshmen who dared to violate the school rules, especially in public.
Snape stood beside McGonagall without saying a word. He was nearby and witnessed the whole process, which was why Draco dared to be so arrogant.
But Draco made a mistake this time.
The three words "Mudblood" were Snape's Achilles' heel. It was because of these three words that he lost his Lily.
"Fifty points will be deducted from each of you two! Ten days of detention!" Professor McGonagall made the ruling.
"I protest! I can't listen to you this time, McGonagall!" Professor Flitwick obviously couldn't accept this kind of slapping way of dealing with it, "Little Malfoy actually dared to call Mike a mudblood! He deserves the petrification spell!"
Hearing the word "Mudblood", Mag's expression changed drastically.
"Slytherin will be deducted 100 points, and Draco Malfoy will be put in detention for 15 days. I will be in charge of his supervision." Professor McGonagall looked at Draco's hideous face and said with pursed lips, "McTownley will be put in detention for a day! Professor Flitwick will be in charge."
