Chapter 309 The Giant Serpent from Beyond the Heavens

Opening its eyes, its vertical snake-like pupils looked down upon the world from the clouds.

He wielded a large shield, clad in bronze armor, roared, his eyes sharp and fearless. The daring Ares, the god of war, charged through the clouds towards the monstrous creature.

The valiant war god brandished his spear and charged straight at it. The sharp spear struck the dark scales, but the scales, impervious to swords and blades, blocked the attack of this sublime deity.

The God of War roared and attacked three times, but all to no avail.

Then, a storm powerful enough to overturn the Caucasus Mountains spewed from the serpent's nostrils, and the gale swept the fearless war god all the way to the distant sea.

However, the God of War's actions also hindered the monster's progress.

Suddenly, a golden bolt of lightning shot out from Mount Olympus.

The lightning bolt pierced the universe, its deafening roar causing the Titans underground to tremble and even instilling fear in Poseidon, the earth-shaking god in the sea.

The lightning bolt that helped Zeus ascend to the throne of the gods was truly powerful, even knocking the monster whose shadow blotted out the sun astray.

The enormous monster was derailed and instead of landing on Mount Olympus, it crashed into the earth, creating a deep crater.

The immense impact caused the earth to tremble, even the eternally unchanging Mount Olympus shook. The lightning pierced even the scales impervious to swords and blades, causing the bleeding monster to roar in pain.

"Roar!!!!!!"

The unexpected attack caused the giant snake's pupils to glow red.

An ominous light emanated from its pupils, sweeping across the world. The red light emanating from the serpent's eyes cleaved through the clouds, tore apart the earth, and shattered the mountains.

But even now, this behemoth has not yet revealed its full form.

Half of its body had fallen to the ground, but its enormous form still connected heaven and earth, stretching all the way to the heavens, with no end in sight.

The giant serpent no longer cared about its bleeding wounds, raised its head, and for the first time seriously looked at the tiny gods on the sacred mountain, especially the god who held lightning.
