Chapter 119 Humans Expelled from Eden
Within the Garden of Eden.

"God, why did you banish Adam and Eve?"

Adam looked at God in bewilderment. God was wearing a tunic made of leaves, and Eve beside him was also wearing something to cover her body. God, shrouded in light, could not be seen in the light.

"God, where is my wife?"

After Lilith left the Garden of Eden, the bewildered Adam asked his father, the ruler of the universe.

"Go to sleep and when you wake up, you will see your wife."

After Adam fell asleep, God created a woman—Eve—from one of Adam's ribs. Since woman originated from man, God made woman obey man's commands and make her Adam's wife.

However, Eve was tempted by the serpent and ate the fruit of knowledge with Adam. She gained wisdom, the ability to distinguish right from wrong, and the knowledge of shame. So she put on clothes to cover her shame. When God saw this, he banished Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden.

"God, why did you banish Adam and Eve? Did we do something wrong?"

Amidst voices of confusion and unease, the first humans who ate the fruit of knowledge were no longer perplexed, but they had an almost instinctive aversion to life outside of the Garden of Eden.

Before them, a god shrouded in light looked down upon humanity, his creation, and spoke calmly.

"Adam and Eve, you and Eve did not obey my will and ate the fruit of knowledge, which was wrong; you and Eve possessed wisdom and could distinguish good from evil, which was wrong; you and Eve put on clothes and denied that you were natural creations, which was wrong."

"Humans who have committed sins shall no longer dwell in the Kingdom of Heaven. Hell will be your final destination, and your descendants will suffer the torments of birth, old age, sickness, and death in Hell because of your deeds."

The calm words, spoken with a magnificent voice that resounded throughout the heavens and earth, were etched into the most fundamental laws of the universe, becoming an unalterable fact.

Accompanied by God's words, under the watchful eyes of Adam and Eve, dark clouds filled the sky, and thunder lurked within them. The gentle radiance of God, which had once brought them warmth and tolerance, seemed to transform into a fiery and dazzling light, so intense that it was impossible to look directly at him, revealing a side of God they had never seen before...

Cold, indifferent, and aloof.

Does the sky treat people kindly or punish them based on their good or evil deeds?

The sky has its own laws of motion, and the occurrence of thunder and lightning has its own reasons, which will not change because of anyone's good or evil. If a saint stays under a tree on a high mountain, thunder and lightning will still strike him without mercy; if a sinner obediently hides at home and does not provoke the majesty of thunder and lightning, thunder and lightning will not strike him.

Rain falls on the righteous and on the unrighteous; lightning punishes the disobedient sinner and also the disobedient saint.

Those who comply prosper, those who resist perish; it is that simple.

"Understanding good and evil gives rise to righteousness and injustice; understanding beauty and ugliness gives rise to liking and disliking; tolerance inevitably leads to jealousy, humility inevitably leads to arrogance, ambition inevitably leads to utilitarianism, and honesty inevitably leads to deceit..."

"Adam, wisdom is the source of evil, wisdom is the original sin."

"You use artificial clothing to cover your natural body because you have a sense of beauty and ugliness, which leads to belittling and envy. You think clothing is good and the natural body is bad, and this is the formation of evil."

"Wisdom breeds good, but it also breeds evil. Wisdom obscures your natural instincts, therefore wisdom is original sin."

"Just as I cast Lilith into hell, Adam, you are tainted by original sin and can no longer remain in this perfect Garden of Eden."

With God's words, Adam and Eve suddenly lost their footing and, before they could even cry out, the man and woman plummeted into the void below, into the hell located beneath the seven heavens.

Before Adam and Eve as they fell, God, shrouded in radiance, looked down upon them from above. His radiance was intensely hot, and his unfamiliar demeanor appeared utterly indifferent, devoid of any mercy or tolerance.

The God who created the world is neither an evil god nor a good god. The sole meaning of all things to Him lies in their obedience, for everything in this universe was created by Him, and any creation that disobeys is a flawed creation. ...

After a long while, a leisurely clapping sound suddenly rang out in the Garden of Eden.

"Clap clap clap clap... That was really exciting!"

A dark entity, shrouded entirely in darkness, emerged from behind a tree. It had witnessed everything that had happened, clapping and speaking as it did so.

But God did not turn around in front of it; he simply turned his back to it.

"However, there are some things I don't understand... If you don't want humans to have intelligence, why don't you stop me from transforming into a snake to tempt Eve?"

The dark creature, its face obscured and leaning against a tree, spoke, its eyes slightly narrowed.

However, the god with its back to it simply looked down at the gap in front of it and calmly answered.

“Angel Raziel, you are not unaware of this, but you are still testing me.”

"You are the angel who oversees good deeds. It is my duty to tempt and test life. Adam and Eve failed the test, which disappointed me, but there is no need to stop them. A heart destined to fall will fall, and a life destined to be tempted will be tempted."

With God's words, the gap in front of them was gradually closed, the soil was restored, and grass grew back on the soil.

The dark creature leaning against the tree stretched and then spoke.

"Although the battle is not yet over, I am extremely dissatisfied that you have already made me one of your angels. But I will just ignore it for now. However... God, do you seem to have forgotten something?"

The dark creature's upright, serpentine eyes slanted as it gazed at the god not far away.

"Earth, or rather hell, is not your creation."

Since the birth of the universe, it has consisted of two worlds: one is the seven heavens created by God, and the other is Earth, which the angels call Hell, a spacetime spontaneously formed by the power of the Great Serpent.

These two worlds are basically unrelated, and even their time flows are different.

"I could let it go that Lilith was banished from the White Moon to Earth by you, but suddenly there are two more humans... God, have you forgotten that I am not your creation, nor is Earth your creation?"

The snake's long, needle-like pupils turned cold.

God created the entire universe and therefore has the power to judge it. However, Earth was not created by God. It was formed by the power that the Great Serpent unintentionally released while it was asleep. God naturally has no right to decide things on Earth.

However, the god simply vanished from the spot, leaving behind only a lingering sound.

“Raziel, I know what you’re thinking. You don’t need to say anything more. I will grant your wish.”

Immediately, the pupils of the dark creature took on a more intriguing look.

In that very instant, it had keenly sensed that the timelines of Earth and the Seventh Heaven had merged, and the two originally independent worlds had officially become one.

God would not allow life tainted by original sin to remain in His Kingdom, but He could not ignore the fact that the earth was not His creation, so He gave some compensation to the dark things.

For the Great Serpent caught in the chaos of the timeline, this means that... it will take longer for it to fully digest the Norse universe. At least for a long time, the Great Serpent will not have to worry about becoming too powerful and forced into hunger before it finishes its game.

But for the dark, it is more concerned with something else, something very interesting.

On the desolate Earth, Adam and Eve looked at the unfamiliar surroundings and were lost in confusion.

Elsewhere, a young girl, crouching on all fours like an animal in a hunting posture, sniffed the ground, her dark eyes filled with curiosity and confusion…
