Even though he was horrified, Shade still asked politely. The man in a burgundy formal suit across from him is most likely the [Mercury Blood] Ring Warlock that Miss Anat mentioned just now. Just when he heard the news, he turned around and was caught. His luck seemed to have really run out.

But there was no panic, Shade knew what he was going to do.

The man shook the small book in his hand towards Shade. The book was only palm-sized. Small books of this size were usually used by people traveling for entertainment.

The cover of the book looks like crumpled leather, with nothing on it except the title and a sentence. The title and sentences were in a language that of course Shade had never seen before, but he still interpreted it:
