“I never said I would leave!” Aine immediately retorted.

"My words," Su Shi said softly, looking down at the table, "I hope this kind of life can continue forever, whether it's the band, the friends, or the relationship, I hope it can last a lifetime."

Hachiman silently squeezed Suze's hand: "I promise you, I will."

The next moment, Su Shi revealed a mischievous smile.

"Oh dear, this is just a dream, you know?"

"No matter how many, it's no problem. As long as it's within my power, I'll agree to it." Hachiman was unusually shameless today.

"I see..."

After giving Xiangzi and Goto Ichiri a meaningful look, Su Shi whispered something in Hachiman's ear.

Then, a burst of red light quickly flushed Hachiman's cheeks.

"Wait a minute, what were you whispering about?" Hongxia asked curiously.

In response, Su Shi simply held up four fingers playfully: "It's nothing."

Hongxia scratched her head in confusion, then turned to Goto Ichiri and asked, "What about Pochi-chan? Does Pochi-chan have any dreams?"

"Huh?" Goto Ichiri, who was still licking the bag... no, eating sausage, was taken aback and quickly replied, "Dreams? I haven't thought about things that far ahead, but I'm happy with my life now, so I hope it can continue forever."

"Ah, that's what Pochi-chan said too. What about Shoko-kun?"

Speaking of this, Xiangzi smiled and looked into the distance: "Let's make AveMujica number one in Japan first."

"What a bold declaration!" Yamada Ryo exclaimed, feeling both impressed and bewildered. "Then I'll become the richest man in Japan, so I can buy the band AveMujica."

Everyone: "..."

"Ryo-senpai, you still only think about money." Kita muttered speechlessly.

Amidst laughter and cheers, the celebration banquet came to a perfect end. Goto Ichiri will be staying at the Su family's house today, while Hachiman and Shoko have also applied for the privilege of staying out.

After dinner, the three of them walked back together.

"It's all over smoothly." Su Shi walked at the front with her hands behind her back.

"What's over?" Hachiman asked.

"A performance."

"Didn't you guys agree to have another match in a few months?" Shoko sighed and glanced at Goto Ichiri. "Right, Ichiri-chan?"

“Ah, um.” Goto Ichiri nodded: “But Aine-chan and the others said they need to train hard during this period. Will we fall behind after that?”

"Oh, do you need me to relieve you?" Suze asked playfully, but Goto Ichiri shook his head decisively: "No!"

"Sorry, I was just joking. Is Pochi-chan angry?"

"Ah, no, no." Goto Ichiri waved her hand timidly, "I'm just a little surprised."

“Speaking of which,” Xiangzi suddenly stopped and looked at the boy walking at the back, “Hachiman, is there something you want to say? I feel like you’ve been acting a little strange since just now.”

"Um, it's alright."

He took his hands out of his pockets, rubbed them together in frustration, and finally clenched them into fists: "Well, I have something I want to say to you."

The three exchanged a glance and stood together without prior arrangement.

"Hachiman, please speak."

"Thank you for your understanding during this time."

"Tolerance?" Xiangzi shook his head slightly: "I don't think Hachiman has done anything to wrong us."

"How should I put it..."

As Hachiman lowered his head, trying to figure out how to explain, footsteps sounded beside him, and three girls came up to him.

"Whether it's one person or two, we believe that Hachiman loves us, so no one will have any complaints."

Upon hearing this, Hachiman gave a bitter laugh: "I'm sorry, I'm still not strong enough."

“If you’re too strong, you won’t need us,” Su Shi replied. “If someone can solve everything, why would they need bonds?”

Hachiman raised his head and stared blankly at the three of them for a moment.

"Yes, that's right. I am indeed an incompetent and greedy guy, so please give me your guidance."

"Yes, please guide me."

Under the bright moonlight, the shadows of the four people gradually overlapped.

"We'll be together forever, and neither of us is allowed to run away."

In the middle of the night, someone suddenly laughed: "So, this kind of request is really troublesome."

Chapter 294 Author's Closing Remarks

First of all, congratulations on the completion! Next, the solo storyline will be serialized in a grand manner!

Everyone is saying that Aine, Akari, and even Oregairu will have solo routes. Also, I want to clarify that none of the routes except for Oregairu will have superpowers (the Oregairu route references book reviews, I'm just admitting I copied those reviews!). So I will try my best to use the gentle (and slightly eccentric) Rōhachi from the original work. If Rōhachi in the main story is as awkward as he is in the original work, I really can't write it at all.

As I write this, I feel quite regretful. This book was actually a product of a whim. In the end, I only planned the storyline of Xiangzi and Su Shi (you can read about the rushed and unsmooth writing later on). According to the original outline, it was actually a single female lead (facepalm).

Regardless, this book has at least reached about 900,000 words. I read some of the three giants' GO stories along the way and was struck by the huge gap between myself and the veteran authors. Actually, I started to lose control after 600,000 words. I'll keep working harder in the future.

Finally, I hope that everyone who reads this far will also meet their own Xiangzi (Su Shi, Goto Ichiri, Akari...)!

Chapter 295 Aine Arc: Hachiman Hikigaya Still Hates Counterfeits (Part 1)

Since returning from her Waterloo-like experience studying in the UK, Ai Yin has been deeply remorseful and decided to reflect on her actions.

So she joined the band, became a guitarist who could stand on her own, and gained several true friends she could spend her life with.

Simultaneously.

Aine did not neglect her duties as a student by indulging in fun; instead, she swept the top ten in her grade at Haneoka Academy, a school known for its high deviation scores.

This impressive resume is practically perfect among all high school students in Japan.

Yes, only almost.

Because Aine knew that she was missing one crucial element to achieve a "perfect" high school life—

Dating, or rather, finding a satisfactory boyfriend.

"Tomorrow is our school trip to Kyoto, Aine. Shall we take pictures at Kinkaku-ji Temple?"

"Sigh, Kinkaku-ji seems too ordinary. Aren't there any more interesting places?"

Centered around a table, four or five girls gathered together to discuss the arrangements for their school trip.

As the central figure in the discussion, Ai Yin maintains the demeanor of a campus socialite, moving freely and gracefully among the crowd.

"Of course we have to go to Kinkaku-ji! But what Koyo-chan said is also true. Besides these famous places, we should also try some different places."

It was just a simple suggestion, but it immediately drew enthusiastic praise from those around her: "As expected of Aine, she's so clever! How come I didn't think of that!"

"hey-hey."

Just as Aine was feeling proud that her opinion had been adopted, a burst of laughter with varying intonation suddenly came from the seat next to her.

Following the strange sound, the group realized that it was coming from the only three boys in their class.

As for why it's only three, that's a long story.

In short, Haneoka Academy has been a girls' school for decades, but this year, due to a change in its admissions policy, this traditionally all-girls school has finally admitted dozens of male students for the first time.

Regardless of the impact of the reform of the girls' school, what is surprising is that these dozen or so boys did not become the emperors of the school as everyone had imagined. Instead, they degenerated into the bottom class of the school.

Even more extreme, some have already submitted applications to the school to voluntarily withdraw from the program.

Even under such circumstances, no matter how insignificant the other person was, Aine clearly remembered his name—Hachiman Hikigaya.

From what I remember.

He was a very unsociable, introverted boy with somewhat rotten eyes. After class, he would stare blankly into thin air, and during lunch break, he would be engrossed in light novels, occasionally letting out disgusting laughter.

In short, this guy's grades are quite low in the class.

but.

This is the kind of person who was assigned to their study tour group by the homeroom teacher with just a few words, under the guise of "taking care of the disadvantaged".

For this reason, Hachiman Hikigaya's reputation in the class plummeted once again.

"Ugh, Hachiman is grinning like an idiot again. How disgusting."

"I mean, I don't know what's the point of that book. It must be some kind of vulgar novel, right?"

“kimo~”

The girls around him frowned and showed expressions of disgust.

Aine, who aspires to be "perfect," is always very careful about her words and actions. Therefore, she always stands up to stop her friends when they make some bad comments about Hachiman Hikigaya.

She gave a dry laugh and interrupted, "Don't say that. Hachiman is a member of our group, so everyone should take good care of him."

Stopping evil is equivalent to doing good, and Ai Yin felt that she was one step closer to her ideal of perfection.

"Okay, Aine-chan is still the kindest, right everyone?"

"Yeah, by the way, did you watch yesterday's variety show, Aine-chan? There was a handsome guy on screen!"

"Hey, who is it?"

Having probably lost interest in attacking the boys in their class, the group quickly shifted their focus to the TV drama that aired last night.

What a joy.

At this moment, the boy who was misunderstood did not choose to resist, but silently put down his book and put on his headphones.

"boring-- "

...

After school, Aiyin arrived at the band's base, a commercial integrated livehouse called RiNG.

Here, she met up with some of her friends and talked about what had happened that morning.

The chestnut-haired girl rested her chin on her hand and thought for a moment, then said rather bluntly, "Heh, doing this will only make that boy think you're a green tea bitch."

"Why? I'm helping him."

"Why?"

The girl's azure eyes were as clear as a lake, radiating a light that made Aine waver: "Actually, Aine-chan doesn't care about that guy named Hachiman at all, does she? If that's the case, there's no need for her to stand up."

"But..."

Having her weakness exposed, Aine lowered her head with a heavy expression.

Beside her, the girl behind the drum set put down her water glass and said coldly, "Can you two stop discussing this kind of nonsense here? And Aine, getting frustrated over just a few words is too fragile."

The two said, "I'm sorry."

During the break, Aine continued to ask her friends about her boyfriend.

"Soyorin, have you ever thought about finding a boyfriend?"

Upon hearing her worries, the girl named Nagasaki Motoyo looked puzzled: "Boyfriend, um... that kind of thing is completely unnecessary, isn't it?"

Perhaps in Nagasaki Motoyo's eyes, boys are almost as insignificant as the hair that falls out when you wake up in the morning; they can be easily brushed off and fall to the ground, and then sucked into the newly bought vacuum cleaner a little while later.

Similarly, the black-haired girl from before held the same view: "Instead of thinking about finding a boyfriend, you should focus on mastering the piece. By the way, the break time is almost over, let's continue training."

"Wait a minute, only ten minutes have passed!"

Ai Yin stomped her foot and frowned her pretty brows.

"Isn't ten minutes enough?"

"Absolutely not enough!"

Not bad.

Although she and her friends have a sincere relationship, each of them has their own flaws. For example, this lady named Shiina Tatsuki has a really fiery temper!

If it were based on our previous interactions, she would definitely have given me the cold shoulder.
