He finally convinced the Ultramarines from the Great Crusade, and more importantly, he got what he wanted.

A gene pool of the entire imperial son

These are pure seeds from the Great Crusade, even before Fugen returned to the Empire.

The empire encountered Tarachin during its transport and eventually spent ten thousand years there quietly.

These genetically modified seeds are so pure that they are not even affected by wilt disease.

This is actually a lucky thing.

If these genetic seeds had actually reached the Emperor's hands, perhaps the size of the Emperor's son's company could have been expanded at that time...

But later on, they still couldn't escape being genetically modified by the aliens injected by Fugen, and ultimately fell into depravity.

"So pure and perfect." Fugen's eyes gleamed as he gazed at this perfect gene bank, as if envisioning a bright future where the Son of the Emperor would be rebuilt, and he murmured...

They could perhaps become even more perfect, through magnetic field forces, or some other power, granting these genetic seeds, their future offspring, greater strength and a brighter future.

The thought crossed Fugen's mind uncontrollably, but he quickly shook his head with a wry smile.

He recalled his last meeting with Fabius Bayer, whom he respectfully called "teacher"... but when he was traded to Tarasin, he had whispered a question to Fabius...

"Teacher, what did I do wrong?"

Fabius didn't answer; he simply turned his head away. But now, Fugen understood what he was thinking.

If he only knows how to pursue perfection, he will eventually follow the same path as Fu Gen and become a loser.

Because there is no such thing as perfection in this world, since perfection itself is imperfect.

Only by addressing shortcomings can we change them; only by changing can we progress; and only by progress can we grow.

Fugen was like that before; his betrayal wasn't solely due to the great demon hidden within the piercing sword...

It was also because of his own soul, which gradually became obsessive and insane in pursuit of a non-existent perfection.

Perhaps this is why Fabius abandoned him; he saw nothing but the shadow of the old Fugen in him.

"You should all be ready by now."

With a flash, Grefax, who had finally regained consciousness, suddenly spoke to Fugen and Anglon, looking heartbroken at the stolen artifacts. She sighed and continued...

"Get ready quickly, your brothers aren't far from their doom."

Without hesitation, Anglong and Fugen, who had already made their own preparations, were all ready.

They boarded a Celestial Punishment-class cruiser, which was temporarily equipped with human life support devices and generously sponsored by Tarasin, and were immediately teleported away through a wormhole opened by Tarasin.

Their faster-than-light travel allowed them to traverse the galaxy in an instant, and after they emerged from the chaotic wormhole, they saw—

Above Macurag, the raging fleet and the pervasive, ghastly green clouds!

88. Empire: Rise of the Phoenix

The faith in Jena, the God of Death, spread among many Eldar with the existence of Evelynn... but unfortunately, compared to Kane and Isa, very few Ida actually chose to believe in Jena, the God of Death.

Just as Eldrad said, if there really was a choice, who would choose this sinister-looking Seventh Path?

Victor was right; if you expect people to believe that mass suicide is the only way to save their race, then there must be something seriously wrong with them.

Evelynn understood this clearly, so when the empire was rebuilt, she did not rush to win over followers for the god of death Jena and expand everyone's trust and worship of the Seventh Path.

After all, that's meaningless; Death hasn't truly awakened yet... Even if some of his blessings and power can protect believers through his own protection, now is not the time for Death's doctrines to spread.

The incarnation of death has not yet descended, and the teachings of the seventh path are not yet ready to be proclaimed.

Evelynn is now able to wield the power of Death, and not long ago she even used the power of Death to help Ahriman bring his thousand brethren back to life.

But until the true God descends, Evelynn can never claim to be the true chosen one.

Despite this, Evelynn still became a high priest in this newly established Eldar Empire, and together with the High Priest of the Cult of Cain and the High Priests who worshipped Isha, she became the new leader of the rebuilt pantheon of the Eldar Empire.

Evelyn's sudden rise to such a high position left her somewhat bewildered, but she would still steadfastly fulfill her duties.

She didn't care whether Blood Shark and White Thousand Frost were aliens or a disgrace to the Spirit Clan. They possessed power and were happy to share it with the Spirit Clan. Their existence brought more benefits to Ada, so that was good enough.

Therefore, the first thing Evelyn did to fulfill her duty was to capture her homeland.

On the tower of the rebuilt airport in Comoros, Evelynn stood on her tiptoes as if she were dancing ballet, on a tiny, pointed surface... looking with a complicated expression at the Eldar ark being forcibly dragged into Comoros.

The symbol of that Ark world is a golden scepter with a crimson burning heart staring at it... Such a rune signifies reincarnation and the reappearance of the past, the following of the Phoenix Lord and the practice of the Way of Assuriani, and also represents the identity and name of this Ark world.

Its name is Biettan, the former homeland of Evelynn.

Not long before, Evelynn personally led her troops to attack her homeland.

Because the Bietan were unwilling to heed the Comoros's call, they refused to acknowledge the inexplicable Eternal King and Warlord, considering it a farce and a great insult to the Eldar!

Many Eldar share this view, and many Arkworlds, like Beetle, are unwilling to go to Comoros to "serve the King."

But it doesn't matter, Blood Shark is happy to fulfill his duty as a war lord and crush all disobedient traitors!

Well, Blood Shark's enthusiasm is simply because he wants to go out and fight. He doesn't care whether he can conquer those rebels or not; he just wants to see rivers of blood flow!

Eldrad spent a great deal of effort to appease this restless war lord...

While the old prophet and his Usvi Ark world didn't have a great reputation within the Eldar, they still had some prestige.

At his urging, some previously radical members of the Ark world chose to remain neutral...

Together with the clown troupe, they maintained a certain level of cooperation and exchange with the central government of this newly formed empire.

For example, Eyjafjallajökull, a group of Eldar who had already suffered heavy casualties in the war against the Tyranids, was the first to respond to Eldrad's call—

Perhaps they couldn't survive, or perhaps they simply wanted to gain power; they submitted to the newly formed empire without any psychological hindrance.

As a reward, they each received their own Soul Stone.

The same applies to the hundreds of millions of surviving people on the entire Ark. Even the Eternal King was quite "lenient," giving the Eldar souls who had been buried with the Underworld Lords a chance to return to their bodies through an infinite circuit filled with Isha's divine power.

So even though Yi Yang's Ark World is also a group of fanatical retro enthusiasts and racists, they still offered Bai Qian Shuang the purest loyalty.

Because he gave so much! Oh no, I should say, with such power wielded by Isha, what reason did they have not to submit?

You said he's a human with short ears?

That shows a lack of perspective! It's just a matter of appearance!

But there are still some Ark worlds that stubbornly refuse to submit!

That's the case with Bietan; this Ark world is a breeding ground for warriors brimming with martial virtue.

They arrogantly believed that the rightful heir to the empire lay with Bietan, while the High Prophet of Bietan believed that it was all yet another conspiracy orchestrated by Eldrad, another conspiracy to use them to achieve his goals.

It's not that people don't trust the old prophet; it's just that this old codger is a top-tier riddler even among his own kind.

Therefore, Evelynn led the Comorian army to invade Bietan.

The invasion went exceptionally smoothly. Evelyn's forces included the Bride of Kane, who had been infused with magnetic field power, fanatics from the world of Eyjafjalla, followers of the Grim Reaper, and a large number of former Conspiracy Society members who were now Imperial warriors.

Their invasion was successful not only because the innovation in magnetic field power gave them great strength, but also because of their inhumanly extravagant methods.

Every warrior who invades the world of the Bieton Ark carries at least three Soul Stones: one for himself, one as a spare, and one for the enemy he kills.

The Eldar warriors, with their stable and high-yield Soulstone production pathways, fight with utter recklessness... and even the councilors and prophets of Bietan, wielding their war machines with overwhelming force, are no match for such an enemy.

Bietan resisted for less than three days before being defeated, and the entire Ark world was dragged into the Webway and returned to Comoros.

Of course, the majority of those inside are survivors.

Evelyn felt a pang of bitterness at the sight of Bieton's demise, after all, it was her homeland—yet she herself had led her people to destroy it.

"Hey……"

Evelyn sighed softly, but there was no doubt that her heart was incredibly resolute.

Some things must be done, and no one can stop them! The revival of the Empire and the Aidaling race is something no one can resist!

The Ark of Beeton was towed to a vassal kingdom of Comoros...

Soon, a large number of spirits belonging to the Ark World were expelled from the disintegrating spirit bones.

This process of expulsion and counting took quite some time... Soon, the number of Eldar captured and gathered in the Comoros vassal kingdoms had reached several billion.

Perhaps the Eldar are a rare race compared to humans... but in these large Ark worlds, the number of Eldar has never been "small".

The number of Eldar gathered in Comoros at this moment has easily surpassed the 10 billion mark.

These Ark Eldar, some filled with rage, others cowering in fear, gazed at the towering black sun and the spire-like structure. Parents embraced their children, while warriors, their bodies bound, knelt on the ground. Humiliation and helplessness were the final fates left to these defeated ones.

Fortunately, Comoros is large enough to accommodate even ten times the population.

However, gathering so many people together in one place is by no means a rational act.

However, the purpose was precisely this: to gather the population of a failed Ark world, to bring together so many Eldar, all for the sake of making a declaration, a proof.

This is proof of the empire's reconstruction.

Evelynn has arrived inside her former homeland. Before her lies an infinite loop of endless souls, where the souls of all the spirits of the dead of Bietan reside, endlessly reincarnating within this crystal dome.

The souls of countless ancestors wandered within the crystal, their voices of condemnation and attack echoing endlessly in Evelynn's ears.

Despite enduring immense mental pressure, Evelyn's actions were never hesitant.

She passed through countless crystals, deep within this dome, atop the keel of this Ark world—

She saw a sword, a divine sword deeply embedded in the dragon's bones.

The silent, shrieking sword, Asuvar...

Evelyn murmured the name of the sword, the next of the five old women's swords...

It is also the only obstacle that stands in the way of the true arrival of the power of the Grim Reaper's incarnation.

Evelynn gripped the hilt of the divine sword tightly, knowing the price of drawing it. The infinite circuits of Beetleth might shatter, the colossal ark might be destroyed, and the souls of countless ancestors might fall into the hands of Slaanesh.

But it didn't matter. Evelyn firmly chose the outcome of the Seventh Path—death would inevitably come, and no one could stop it!

Evelynn gripped Asuvar tightly and yanked it violently from the dragon bones! As it broke free of its restraints, a sharp screech echoed from the invisible warp!

Amidst the despairing gazes of the countless Eldar gathered here, they witnessed the shattering of the crystal dome of their ark!

Countless ancestral souls broke free from the soaring, eerie blue light, as if they were about to return to the Dark Prince amidst shrieks.

But that was not the case. The boundless light and the presence that descended amidst the shrieks bound all the souls to their side, preventing Slaanesh's minions from getting any closer!

In the warp, the birth of the new god was marked by the first piercing scream.

Even though he was not truly born, the mere sound he uttered upon waking still had a tremendous impact throughout the entire subspace.

The shock distorted the light of the Star Torch, causing many Imperial warships traveling in warp space to instantly lose their navigation.

The Star Speaker who peered into the shadows was transformed into a crystal sculpture amidst screams; this was the price for blaspheming the true God.

Whether they were in Comoros, other Ark worlds, or even the Eldar pirates and barbarian Eldar, they all witnessed this moment.

Amidst endless light, a terrifying being materialized and descended from the void. It resembled a spirit, but possessed a twisted, elongated, sharp horn on its right skull.

His skin was a deathly bluish-gray, and the souls of countless dead flowed from his abdomen, swirling around him like rivers and flames.

He held in his hands an ancient rune, which looked like Kane's symbol, but it did not signify the conflict of the God of War. Rather, it was a rune of death, representing the cycle of life and its end.

His existence felt similar to Kane's incarnation, but in a completely different way.

For if the embodiment of the God of War is a blazing flame, then He is like a spring of ice that freezes everything.

Amidst the horrified gazes of countless Eldar, Inkard, the avatar of Death, descended upon the mortal realm amidst a shrill howl that swept through the warp.

His existence and true meaning, the obscure seventh path he represents, are instantly understood by countless fools.

The seventh path represents the path of the dead, the path of the cycle of life and death. When Jena exalts the throne of God, no spirit will fear the torments of the afterlife.

They will enter the cycle of reincarnation, experiencing the cycle of birth and death in the seventh path!

The light of death does not inspire mercy like Isa's, nor does it inspire awe like Kane's...

That pure, deathly light was merely a message to all the Eldar to know the final outcome.

The arrival of the new god's incarnation shook the beliefs of many Eldar in Comoros who scoffed at the Seventh Path...

As if to teach this young upstart a lesson... the next moment, a colossal avatar of Kane, roaring with blood flames, appeared from the Kane Grand Arena!

"Roar!!"

He brandished the massive Doomsday Wail at the cold incarnation of death, as if pointing a finger at him and saying, "You're just a brat!"
